Small, hidden gem amidst businesses. Service was very friendly and efficient. We arrived on a Saturday so they had the buffet. For a table of four we had cocktails for each and buffet for three. The drinks and food were delicious! The buffet provided a great opportunity to explore the range of moles. One in our group had the cucumber-based margarita and said it was the best margarita she's ever had. Parking was easy as there is a free parking garage next door and there appeared to be plenty of street parking. Highly recommended! We will go back very soon.

Got the Mole Poblano and the Burrito con carne last night for takeout, also with a side of 4 oz Guac. Service was quick from the initial yelp order and I was home with my food in no time. I was so bummed to open my order once home to see that my chips and salsa and side of homemade corn tortillas for the mole (which was recommended in another review, below) was missing. Luckily I had some tortillas and chips at home. Was really excited to try the salsa though. The burrito, with carne asada, was pretty solid. Not "mind blowing" but good! My husband and I shared that along with the mole. Mole Poblano was very flavorful and with lots of extra mole sauce. It came with a side of what appeared to be cilantro rice. Wish there was more of that, but still good. We had enough food for the two of us (they even gave us a couple of extra Guac containers on the side). I'll have to come back and make sure my chips and salsa and corn tortillas are included. I'm sure they're good! Parking is really hard to find in this area, so takeout is probably best for me!

Los Molles is fantastic! Our waiter was super helpful and gave us the best recommendations. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the moles, but I'd definitely recommend getting two enchiladas, each with a different mole, to try more flavors.Happy hour is a steal, with chips and guacamole for just $7. The food comes out fast, fresh, and so tasty. Make sure to order the corn tortillas--they're handmade on the spot and absolutely worth it. Totally worth the drive, and while they have 11 other Mexican food spots, this one is hands-down the best!

This place was so good! My tacos were filling and just the right level or crispy. I also loved the beans. As soon as you walk in you can tell it's going to be good based off the smelll and the vibe. My only complaint was that the service was a bit slow, but I'm totally fine and will be back!

I love, love, love this place for their weekend Brunch! Totally recommend. On the weekend they have a buffet for $25, that's totally worth it. They have all you can eat of different types of chicken moles, menudo, cafe de olla, chilaquiles...and they recently added two vegan mole options. I'm vegetarian, so I usually order something off the menu, but I might try the vegan moles next time. This time I ordered the huarache and it was really good. And by far, my favorite drink is the cucumber micheladas! A must try. And everytime I come, staff is always super friendly. The only thing I would say is because it is a buffet, servers don't come around super frequently, so you do have to try a little harder to flag them down when you need something. But overall, everything is great!

Los Moles is a great Mexican spot tucked away in a commercial part of Emeryville. They offer a variety of dishes: tacos, mole (of course), and interestingly, a $25 weekend buffet.Unfortunately, I wasn't hungry enough to justify going for the buffet. Instead, I ordered the beef fajitas (22), which consisted of a veritable pile of sizzling sliced meat, peppers, and red onions. Accompaniments included rice, beans, a classic trio of guacamole, salsa, and sour cream, plus flour tortillas. It was quite a mouthful, both to eat and to write down!I really enjoyed it - the meal was filling and well-balanced, each component quite flavorful on its own and even better when combined and wrapped up in a warm tortilla. We also got some chips and salsa (4, includes a red and a green salsa). Their chips are extraordinary; I am guessing they cut and fry them in-house.This meal hit all the spots. Next time, I'll make sure I'm properly famished so that I can take advantage of the buffet (most other people in the restaurant were doing it and it looked fantastic).

If you're looking for a brunch buffet with an amazing selection of Mexican food, Los Moles is the place to be. My wife and I were searching for a new Mexican restaurant to try and stumbled upon Los Moles. If it weren't for the line out the door, we might have missed it.The moment you walk in, the delicious aromas from the buffet hit you. They offer over five different moles, fresh-made tortillas, menudo, and much more. Once we sat down, I couldn't wait to explore the variety of food. With a cup of café de olla and a plate full of delicious dishes, I was glad we chose to eat here. The restaurant is relatively small but has plenty of seating both inside and outside. If buffet-style dining isn't your preference, they also have a full menu to order from. Despite the initial line, the wait time was surprisingly short, and the staff were accommodating and helpful throughout our meal.Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, especially for a restaurant we had never visited before. I highly recommend Los Moles to anyone looking for an exceptional Mexican brunch or just superb Mexican food.

Was craving chicken soup and found this great Mexican restaurant that serves a few different kinds of soup! Walked in and the place looked pretty nice had great atmosphere for happy hour! Even though we didn't have any drinks.we got free chips and salsa. I really liked the roasted flavour! Started out with ceviche and Mexican street corn! I had to try their soap de mar Isco seafood soup I really enjoyed it, it would have been better with other seafood ingredients. It had a few shrimp and a piece of fish with one slice of corn and carrots. We also had the chicken soup and let me tell you this soup had 2 nice pieces of chicken breast! Delicious! The service was great. Glad we found this place. Will definitely be back to try different things soon.
