A great date night restaurant!Very warm, inviting atmosphere family style Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine in this neighborhood. Parking is a bit hard to find but the food here is worth coming for.Tried the grilled Spanish octopus leg as an appetizer and sure it did not disappoint. Chewy octopus legs flavored with house made aioli sauce and grilled cherry tomatoes and seasoned olive. Main dishes we selected carbonara pasta and the clam pasta and the carbonara is definitely stood out, the pasta was thicker than average and more dense in terms of texture which absorbed the cream sauce very well, smoked bacon also added the smoky taste to it and the parmesan cheese added a perfect touch to finish this dish. Their dessert menu were wonderful too, wish I had more rooms to try all their menu items.

we had reservations at 5:45,the restaraunt was crowded when we arrived, we were seated within 15 mins. We were a few mins late due to no more parking in their lot. The side streets had signs , no parking. We ended up going across the street about 1/2 blk away in a city parking lot .( not so bad, some walking)Food was delicious , I had the eggplant pizza, others had the pesto, lobster ravioli and clam linguini. We had drinks, service was excellent, noise level was loud, it was packed, multiple large group celebrations. We will return, i'd like to try it during the weekdays/ nights.

We came here for a Valentine's Day lunch. The restaurant has very charming decor and is on the edge of Campbell downtown. Was also nice that they have their own parking lot. They had a lot of nice Valentine's Day decorations and menu items, although we didn't end up ordering any. The tables are small and space is a little tight inside. We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer, which were very good and came with a tasty little toast cracker. For drinks, we got Prosecco and an old fashioned. They were presented nicely. While the Locanda Salad was good, I thought the presentation could have been better; it needed more color. Both of the pasta dishes were tasty; I was just a little confused why they added shrimp to both of our dishes. It seemed kind of random and didn't necessarily enhance the taste. For dessert, we got the tiramisu, which I think was my favorite. They give you a pretty generous slice so you can definitely share.Other comments: service was attentive. Because it was Valentine's Day, it did seem like they were trying to rush us a bit. My husband said the men's bathroom could have been cleaner. All in all, very cute place for a date or small meet-up with friends. Would like to try the limoncello next time!

Hailing from Cinque Terre, the trofie al pesto is as legit as it gets and brought me back to our Italian holiday. Homemade short twisted pasta with a pine-nut forward pesto: this was delicious. Good sized portions too!Our server was also informative with my friend's gluten free, dairy free needs and knew what dishes could and couldn't be tweaked. Love the ambiance here as well!

Having studied abroad in Italy, I never thought I'd find anything that compared until Locanda Sorrento. The enthusastic, family-run atmosphere takes the experience to the next level, with Italian songs sung by the staff and high energy consuming the space. I went for my birthday and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a birthday dinner...Singing and good food..doesn't get much better than that. If you go..you must have the gnoochi; it's absolutely outstanding.

We had reservations for a group of 13 and were seated in a separate room. We shared the focaccina and antipasta, all of which were delicious. For entrees, I had the eggplant parmigiana. It was a good portion size. As a group, we also shared some bottles of wine, and David was an excellent sommelier. We had a great time and would recommend this place for a large event.

Saw some videos of Locanda Sorrento on TikTok and decided to make a reservation for my birthday dinner! Went on a Monday at 7:15pm and there was lots of street parking available. The restaurant was not too crowded either. We were promptly seated as soon as we entered. We each ordered the Cacio E Pepe and split the Pizza La Favorita amongst the 3 of us. Cacio E Pepe (4/5): Big portion size! It was very creamy and cheesy. I prefer red sauce over white but this was still pretty good. If you like white sauce and/or want the table side experience, order the Cacio E Pepe!Pizza La Favorita (2.5/5): Nice presentation, but the flavor missed the mark. There was not much seasoning and the pizza was very floppy.Caramel Panna Cotta (5/5): Delicious! This was complimentary for my birthday and it was our favorite dish of the night. We didn't get the birthday opera experience but regardless we appreciated the dessert. The sweetness caramel and fruit nicely balanced the panna cotta - amazing! Overall, the savory dishes could have been more flavorful and it's a little pricey to frequent often, but the dessert was delicious and I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion as the ambiance was charming.

We came in on a Saturday night and were seated outdoors since they were fully booked inside. It wasn't cold since they provided blankets and had heaters, but they did forget about us so we had to check in to the front to order lol. For sure recommend having a reservation and getting a table inside. The truffle fries (4/5) were really good! The fries on their own are basic but the truffle sauce really is what makes it good. And I love that they don't skimp on the sauce. My bf got the lasagna and he liked it, doesn't stand out much. I also liked my carbonara (3.5/5), it was fine. The pasta for both were cooked very well and was our favorite part of the dish. I'd come back to try their tableside cacio e pepe next time! The tiramisu (4/5) was a nice surprise. I thought the Nutella would overpower but you can barely taste the Nutella. Only thing is this was a bit gooey so maybe it wasn't set for long.

A large group of us had the private room reserved to celebrate a friend's birthday this past July. There is a small parking lot to the side of the restaurant. After we were all situated in our seats, the manager, Davide, came to greet us and assisted us with ordering starters and wine.Although there was one vegetarian in our group, all of the dishes were shared family style. The standouts for me were the Bruschetta, Lobster Ravioli, Carbonara, and their Caramel Panna Cotta. As a bonus, Davide, sang us some Opera, which pleasantly surprised everyone at the table. Smiles abound after our experience and this is a fantastic authentic Italian restaurant at the end of downtown Campbell.
