Little India Cafe is a great spot for a weekday lunch buffet, especially for the price - just $18! It's hard to beat that deal. The restaurant has ample seating, making it easy to find a table even during busy lunch hours. The buffet offers a good variety of dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone. The fresh naan was a highlight; it had just the right texture--soft inside with a nice crisp on the outside. The butter chicken and other curries were flavorful and well-prepared, offering rich and authentic tastes. However, the tandoori chicken was a bit of a letdown, as it had too much bone for my liking.I also appreciated the complimentary chai, which was a nice touch to wrap up the meal. Overall, it's a solid spot for a tasty, affordable Indian lunch buffet. Would definitely come back, especially for that naan!

We've been ordering from here for over 5 years now. They changed ownership somewhat recently and it's mostly still the same.Food is still great (we mostly order curries) and haven't really noticed a drop off in quality, maybe a slight one. Their butter chicken is excellent (as someone who loves butter chicken). We've never dined in (always pickup) and the interior is a bit dated and the tables are pretty basic, but I'd imagine most of their business is takeout orders.Staff is always friendly and attentive when picking up as well. They often have deals or discounts too. Regularly you can get a discount on DoorDash or their site ordering system. Sometimes during non peak offers they will offer buy one get one free of some items too.

This restaurant is one of my favourite lunch spots. The staff are very friendly and the receptionist who manages the restaurant always has a pleasant demeanour, while ensuring that the service is impeccable!Their tandoori (grilled) chicken is great! Buffet lunch has a decent spread and has good options.

We came here looking for Indian food on a Saturday night and seeing how highly rated this place was. Surprisingly, we found the place completely empty when we walked on for a Saturday dinner (7pm)!! The employee did not seem to really care that we walked in(?) and I was not able to grab their attention until I walked up to them even though we were the only customers in there. It seems like a very casual Indian diner, and although I had wished I had tried something newer, we ordered Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, and some Naan.Food was good though! And the portions generous! Without the awkwardness of being the sole customer here I enjoyed it!

This is very beginner friendly Indian food. The flavors are all there, but the spiciness of the curries is very mild, like a mild seafood boil rather than a medium. The Chicken Korma and Butter Chicken were both fantastic with the garlic naan. Although, I did order Lamb Korma, but was given chicken. The samosas were big that paired well with the tamarind and mint chutney. The goat biryani was good with the yogurt sauce and I would say it packed the most heat out of all the dishes we got. The goat is super tender, however, watch out for some bones that got separated from the meat. Staff was friendly during pick up and inside was spacious. It's very simple inside and there is a lunch buffet I believe. I will be back to actually try the Lamb Korma, but overall, this place is great!

Loved the reviews on yelp so tried this for a quick weeknight dinner. The place was fairly empty and lots of vacant parking spots right outside this corner restaurant,I preferred their outdoor seating more than the indoor one. Best would be to takeout/ get it delivered to you as the indoor ambience is the only reason i am deducting a star.Friendly service and free chai was good. In $68 (before tip), we got:- aloo parantha 5/5- huge portion size tandoori potato filled bread which tasted great . Definitely recommending it- tandoori chicken tikka - 5/5- saucy grilled chicken with long sliced onions and bell peppers adding to the crunch. Again huge portion size.- butter chicken (medium soicy)- loved this as it was perfectly spiced and flavorful. Paired well with naan and complimentary rice- palak paneer 3/5- decent but i wish it had more paneer pieces- chilli naan- 5/5 hits a spot. Loved it- garlic naan 4/5 - decent

Came here for a lunch buffet so I could eat as much butter chicken as I wanted. It's a varied but simple selection of buffet items featuring many typical Indian staples. The only thing not pictured is the Naan, which they will bring to your table when you are seated.I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine, but I tasted most of the items and they all were along the lines of my expectations. I liked the Butter Chicken and Lamb Curry a lot. The Chicken Biryani was pretty satisfying too.Apparently, there's been a recent change in management, and the food tastes a little different than it used to be (supposedly saltier according to the person who brought me here) but this was my first time visiting and I thought the food was fine for a simple lunch buffet.I'm not local to the area, but if I was, I'd come back for another go.

This used to be my absolute favorite spot for Indian food, but my last two visits have been disappointing. Six months ago, I noticed a big drop in quality when the butter chicken tasted off. After reading some Yelp reviews, I found out others had similar experiences and it seemed tied to a change in management.I never write bad reviews, especially since I only really care about food taste--I wouldn't complain about service or ambiance. But this was such a disappointment. I decided to give it another try recently, hoping things had improved, but sadly, the food still doesn't live up to what it once was. The flavors and overall quality have dropped significantly since the ownership change. What was once a hidden gem is now overpriced and mediocre. Unfortunately, I'll have to look elsewhere for my go-to Indian spot.

Have lived and worked in the area in the past. Went back the other day to give it a re-visit and it was really good. I will blame myself for having a baby India tongue in the past but now I know what to order.Local Mom and Pop type thing that serves the workforce in the area. I will go back for sure when the craving hits.

Have tried multiple Indian restaurants in the Sunnyvale area until trying this one, this is now my go to every time. The most authentic and best tasting Indian food in the area by far. Highly recommend this place!
