Went here for a quick coffee fix and a light snack. We ordered a Vietnamese ice coffee, ice mocha, 2 chicken egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls w/peanut sauce, & a pork banh bao. The drinks were strong and the appetizer were delicious. We wished they had fish sauce but it was still yummy. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Lee's Sandwiches in San Jose, CA, is a great quick-stop spot for Vietnamese eats. I ordered the deluxe banh mi, which was solid and hit the spot. My friend went for the banh cuon and sticky rice with sausage and absolutely devoured both--definitely a win! This is a no-frills shop with lots of yummy Vietnamese goodies to choose from. Keep in mind it's cash only for orders under $20, so plan ahead. Perfect for a quick and satisfying bite!

Gavin and I were not eating meat and wanted to come here to enjoy a vegetarian banh mi before heading to the hockey store. The store is not as big as the one off of Berryessa Rd. There were 2.5 tables available, but they were all dirty. I didn't want to dine in, but it was either there or the car. I didn't want my car to be dirty and I didn't want to have crumbs all over (if we were to eat on the car). The gentleman helping us was soft-spoken and friendly. He smiled at us a few times and did not rush any customers. There was a customer in front of me that took forever, but he was never rushed. I witnessed the same as I was getting up to get my coffee and our order. Lines can be long, but just got to be patient and wait our turn. I think Lee's changed their banh my preparation. The pickled daikon and carrots were cut julienne, but they were thick. I did not enjoy the thickness because it wasn't crunchy, it was still hard. We took most of it out unfortunately. Other than that, the banh mi was good.. the baguette was fresh, and the filling was flavorful. Their ca phe sua da was strong and sweet. Parking can be a hit or miss but come early otherwise it will be a pain.

I love the #1 banh mi here. I grew up eating this specific sandwich from here and love it every time. I also bought nem bo and it was also really good! The service is always so friendly and the ambiance is homey and clean.

Lee SandwichesNo ac. Hot. Your average Vietnamese sandwich shop.We came here because this was sister's place for sandwiches. After eating... not bad. Pretty good. I'm told this place has been around for years.Worth another trip. Will try other sandwiches next time.OMG, I did not know I came across a major restaurant chain. Wow. They have over 10 restaurants all over. Incredible. When you have that many restaurants, it's hard to make every restaurant special and unique. The owner should take better action to make sure everyone is working to achieve greatness.Highly recommended

The selection is so good I have to sit back and decide from the awesome variations of several dishes and sandwiches. Always something yummy for lunch or just coffee and desert. Service is friendly and pretty fast. Plenty of seating if you're planning on staying. It's good food at reasonable prices.

Loved the bbq pork banh mi. I always enjoy Vietnamese food a lot more with a side of a Hong Van grass jelly drink. They have fast sandwich making skills

Prices have gone up significantly. Detailed breakdown below:**Price & portion, 4/5** Prices have basically doubled since I first started coming here, but the quality has stayed about the same. Still a solid place to come for some classic Vietnamese food and snacks.**Presentation of the food, 5/5** Super colorful and love how all the options are laid out.**Taste of the food, 4/5**- Banh chung, 4/5: I recommend taking this home, slicing it up, and pan frying to get it crispy on the outside! Put it in the fridge as soon as you get home if you don't eat it right away though, because it won't last long at room temp.- Coconut jelly, 5/5: Solid dessert! A go to for me when I come here.- #1 cold cut combo sandwich, 4/5: Wish they added cucumber to the veggies here like some other banh mi places. Otherwise pretty solid.**Other notes** Parking is a total nightmare in this plaza -- crowded and dirty. Park in the plaza nextdoor and walk over.

Every Lee's Sandwich I ever had, has always tasted delicious, especially the ones they make on Story Rd. The chill atmosphere plus the smell of fresh baked baguettes, you can't beat that. Also, all the different kind of drinks, snacks and gifts items you see as you walk in, is pleasing to the eye. I want to give a "Special Shout Out" to the very short hair gentleman wearing the glasses who took my order, you made me feel like a friend. Your customers service is worth its weight in gold and you have more gold than Fort Knox's my friend. Keep up the good work.
