I recently visited this restaurant, and while the service was pleasant--particularly the young woman who was helping us--it was not enough to make up for the disappointing quality of the food and especially the baked goods.Lunch was fine but not good. I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli, and my friend had the Chicken Teriyaki. Oddly, the chicken in both dishes was identical, marinated in something that turned the meat red. To make it "teriyaki," they simply poured sauce over the same chicken. This shortcut was quite obvious. It seemed like they were cutting corners by preparing one batch of chicken to use across multiple dishes, rather than properly cooking each dish according to its advertised flavor. It felt lazy on the restaurant's side.What really drove me to write this review, though, was the baked goods. With the rising cost of dining out, I expect that the food I purchase will be fresh. After our meal, I decided to try a few of their cookies, which were individually wrapped in plastic wrap--something that I should have paid more attention to. When I got home, I discovered they were extremely stale, inedible and maybe even a month old. If you're charging customers, selling baked goods that should have been thrown away is both shameful and a waste of our hard-earned money. They clearly know these items are past their prime since they individually wrap them in plastic to try to keep them fresh--but it doesn't work. It's far better to bake only what you can sell within a reasonable timeframe. Instead, it felt like another example of cutting corners--batch baking and then trying to pass off old items to customers simply because they don't sell quickly enough. Really feel taken advantage of at this place.

Park behind bakery! The restaurant was pretty empty. Chicken pho was very rich in flavor. Not a fan of the banh mi. Old bread and not well put together. Enjoyed the spring rolls. Hot tea in a home style mug was cute. Overall, decent spot for affordable pho. Thanks!

I ordered online for lunch and picked up. I came in through the back near the parking lot. My sandwich was ready when I got there. Service was great. I asked if they had a non-dairy milk option for their Thai iced tea. They had almond milk, but when she poured it in the cup, it was lumpy so I didn't get any. I ordered the tofu bahn mi sandwich. The sandwich was small, bread was stale, the tofu had no flavor. The whole thing was dry. I don't think it even had mayo and if it did, it was very little. I was really disappointed with this sandwich. It doesn't take much to add flavor to the tofu. Maybe some salt and pepper or lemongrass perhaps, maybe even add 5 spice. Any type of flavor will do. Just add flavor. Probably will not come back. There are other restaurants w/ way better tofu bahn mi sandwiches.

We came here for a quick bite between 2 activities and as soon as we walked in, I realized that I have been here before and sure enough, we hadn't been here in over 10 years! Hubby ordered the combo egg noodle chow mein and i had the chicken and broccoli with rice! My meat and veggies were simply delish with no MSG! They also had some tasty desserts that looked tempting so next time we are in the neighborhood, we will try some other dishes

I Always get the beef pho here. The broth is good and the standard size gives enough meat. The seating is spacious. We came during lunch on a Friday and it was pretty empty. We've also had their vermicelli and rice plates and they don't disappoint! Great portions!

This place is def a staple here in Hayward! Used to go to this place a lot since I used to live down the street and always have great experience and amazing food. Recently came to have lunch w my best friends and as usual, the food and service didn't disappoint. I ordered #30 which is a vermicelli w grilled chicken and egg roll. Everything was very tasty. The service was quick. The lady who took our order was very nice and funny. I'd definitely comeback to try their pastries next timeIf you're ever in Hayward, make sure you stop by!

The service was quick & prompt. Ambiance is lacking when's the last time the health department actually came & made them clean! I came here 3 months ago at the end of eating I found a hair in my food. My hair was bright red at the time & it was black! One day I was craving pho last week & wanted to give them another try. I prayed over my food & said god please don't let there be any hair. Soon as I was about to take my almost 5th bite a piece of hair popped up outta my food!!!! I couldn't eat it! The young lady tried to offer me a cookie for the inconvenience but I said no thanks. I paid for my food & left! Definitely will not ever be returning smh. All the good pho places in the Bay Area are leaving. It's hard to find a good place that serves both pho & salt/pepper wings& shrimp. Highly disappointed

Been wanting to try this local spot forever and it did not disappoint. Food was also delicious and made with love for sure.I don't normally rate based on service, because the food is what matters. However, everyone was so friendly and wonderful. We will be back to try more of their many items we didn't have yet!
