Authentic pupusas! They are made fresh. Our favorite is the bean and cheese one. The zucchini and cheese didn't taste like zucchini. I swear it tasted like jalepeno. I would skip on the tamales. We didn't like the chicken tamale or the elote tamale (sweet corn). It was very dry. Fried plantains and horchata also hit the spot for us. Came on a Sunday during lunch. They were quite busy. Took about 15-20 mins to get our food after waiting 5 mins to ordering. Can't speak for the bakery items yet but looks promising.

I ordered some pupusas here and they were really good - got the cheese, cheese and bean, and cheese, bean, and pork. The wait was a little longer than expected for my order, but they were also busy with many other orders.

Well, well, when the food is made in-home and in front of the customers, then you know the food is going to be bomb. This place gives you the savory and the sweet, meaning you can get pupusas and pan in this restaurant/bakery. I came here on a semi-busy Sunday, and this little joint is very family-oriented with each server and cook welcoming each and every customer. The pupusas and yuca fries were the co-stars alongside the servers. Again, you know the food is bomb when random strangers eating outside stop to tell you that everything here is good. Authentic Salvadoran food here! Teacher-approved!

Nice local spot for papusas. It's a restaurant and bakery. We ordered the papusas filled with cheese, pork, and beans. Not too thick skin, fried fresh to order, served piping hot, and great flavor. The tomato sauce and cabbage pairs well with it. The plantains with beans/crema was delicious. The fried yuca and chicharron were crispy. We got the carrot and orange juice which was refreshing as well. It gets busy but service can be fast if you beat the rush. There might be a language barrier as the workers are mostly Spanish speaking, but you get by. Prices are very reasonable too!

I love their Guava and Cheese Strudels--they're delicious! However, it would be helpful if there were signs for each pastry so I can easily tell the staff what I want to order.

Drove to San Leandro for an appointment and my fiancé wandered across the street to this little pupusa place and wow was he not disappointed. The pupusas he ordered was made to order, so fresh crispy hot and delicious. The curtido (El Salvadoran vinegary slaw) was soo good and the oregano had a prominent flavor. The shop was very mom and pop and we ate quickly and ran to our next meeting. Other than that I did not have room for anything from the bakery but it's next on my list!Only regret was not ordering more to take home. No pictures unfortunately, we just couldn't wait.

This was our first time at this bakery... the bread had good flavor and very close to the Guatemalan flavors. Prices are decent and the staff was nice. They also sell pupusas... milkshakes and other stuff so I have to come back again to try everything else little by little. There was a lot of people eating here so I'm guessing it was good.

This is an incredible Salvadoran bakery that also serves Papusas. They are made fresh in front of you. For me the best thing was the chicken tamale So Good!!Friendly service - and tables available to eat inside the bakery/ restaurant.

Este día mi hijo fue a comprar pupusas y nos sentimos estafados, como si las hicieron con los pies. Que triste como han perdido la calidad.

DO NOT COME EARLY! The hours posted online are outdated, they do not open at 7 am. Saturday I walked in 47 degree weather with my friend to reward ourselves with a good meal at 8 am. The doors were locked. The sign on the window left of the door said open at 7 am, the sign on the window right if the door said open at 8 am, sign ON the door said "new hours" starting at 9 am, however the 9 am was scribbled off in black marker. My friend saw people inside and knocked loudly on the door to ask when open, and the staff did not make eye contact but scurried into the back part of the restaurant. This place has great dishes at a fair price, but lacks good customer service. As a local patronizing this establishment regularly, I was taken aback by this experience. In the past there was more warmth and hospitality. I wonder if there is new owners or management? Not the same.
