This is authentic as it gets, Best Hawaiian BBQ and Poke I had!!! Finally got to tried this place. They are not your 7 days week restaurant with regular hours, they do pop ups and make sure you follow them on FB or IG. You wont be disappoint it!!! Oxtail LauLau - I heard it's his 1st time making it and he knocked it out of the park with a grand slam!!!! It was so flavorful and the meat was so tender falling off the bones. KFC came with 2 pieces of chicken thins fried to perfect.Home Made Portuguese Sausage Fried Rice tasted great, the ice had a nice little wok burnt flavor, love it!!! The home make sausage was so good with a nice very mild spicy kick. One of the best!!!Salmon & Ahi Tuna Poke is the best I ever had. My daughter ate 2 of them. Take a look at the photo of the serving portions. The Spicy Salmon Poke is a must get!!!CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT TIME!!!!!

***LANDEZA'S ISLAND DELIVERS ALL OVER THE BAY AREA.***Mininum $40 order for delivery and delivery is only $3. Just had an order delivered today! This place is great! The meat to taro leaves ratio is pretty good -- more pork than taro leaves and it's wrapped in foil. The lau lau arrived warm, so we just put it in a pot to steam again. $20/3 == this pricing is in the same range as those that are frozen, although these are fresh. Good thing I was ambitious and bought six... for me. :)I didn't see mac salad this time or else would've gotten it. They have other ingredients -- including fresh poi -- that would be interesting, although it wasn't available on the website when I decided to order. There's a special delivery request and I just asked for a 20 minute heads up, in case I wasn't looking at my phone upon arrival. The driver, Matt, was gracious enough to text me in advance and the drop off was around 10:30am, even though the delivery window is 9 -1pm.Definitely would order from here again and I hope others find out about this place and support them too.

Craving authentic Hawaiian food? This place is not fake like the other "Hawaiian BBQ" places that fall short on quality and flavor. This is small batch and very delicious. I mean....poi & kulolo? The laulau reminds me of home, so ono. The smoked meat is incredible. Give this place a try. Remember, it's only to-go so bring a cooler if you have to holoholo afterwards. I usually can't wait and eat in the car! Shoots!

Saturdays are for ono grindz. The food has so much aloha poured into it, my friends hit me up for my poke, laulau, and poi hook! I look forward to my delivery (small fee of $2.99) of legit Hawaiian nomz from Hayward to the Peninsula. I've ordered so much that the delivery person and I have a routine (I live in a tricky spot). I can always count on Landeza's Island to deliver (pun unintended) aloha, ono grindz, and happy bellies. My favorite is the spicy ahi, laulau, and mac salad. Last weekend, I should have ordered more because I had to fight my partner for the 3 large pieces of laulau we ordered! When I order again, I'll definitely update with pictures. I forget to take a photo because I just dive right in!

It's hard to find authentic Hawaiian in the bay, much less Hawaiian catering. Landeza's Island Poke & Catering satisfies your island cravings with their traditional cooking and delivery service. For a small fee, they deliver to various parts of the bay on set days, though it looks like SF is not included. Luckily for me, I live just right below SF's boundary! They regularly update their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/landezasisland/, and recently started offering $65 family meals, or "Luau at Your Door". The online ordering system is pretty easy and straightforward. Upon ordering, you are automatically emailed a receipt/confirmation of the order. I was contacted a few hours before the delivery was made, which specified the time window we should expect our meal. The website states the window is between 4:30-7:00PM, and we received the meal at 6:30PM.We enjoyed the lau lau for our Luau at Your Door meal, which included 4 lau lau, choice of ahi poke, fried noodles, white rice, and potato mac salad. The portions were great - definitely more than enough for a family of 4 - we didn't even make it to half of the lau lau! The pork lau lau was a little tough and drier than I expected in the middle, and probably needed more fat, sauce, or maybe more steaming time. However, it was still a large package of meat, and the fatty pieces I did find were tasty! The limu ahi poke was the most delicious part of the meal - thick, chunky tuna with raw onions and fresh sea salt and nutty aromas of the limu and sesame oil. The poke was a little mushier than my preference, but I'd still order this again and again. The fried noodles were a typical chow mein-like stir fry with salty, meaty shavings of Portuguese sausage. I like this a lot more than some chow mein I've had from Chinatown! The white rice was surprisingly good; it was clumpy, yet moist and flexible. Finally, the potato mac salad was one of the better mac salads I've had. It tasted generously mixed with egg and potatoes, so was actually quite substantial. There were random slices of potato, and no distractions from the macaroni! I don't like mac salads with too much mayo or random veggie bits, so this one pleased me greatly. The poke and mac salad seemed to have been transported via an icy cooler, so you may want to let them sit for a while before indulging. The rest of the food was at optimal hot eating temperature!I'm rather impressed by the Hawaiian catering offered here, and I felt like I was served by a Hawaiian relative! It was an oh so ono taste of the islands!

Home cooked Hawaiian? We attended services for a dear friend of our's mother that was catered by Landeza's Island. The food was very tasty and the staff was awesome considering size of crowd, but what really stands out is the love and compassion that went into this food. I've never met the owner Patrick before this day, but know his brother for MANY years, but when we saw the family interact with each other and understand the deep Hawaiian influence their mom had on the kids (and their cooking) I can say it was one of the best home cooked Hawaiian meals I'll probably ever have. I hope to try out their restaurant soon and introduce friends and enjoy the same hospitality.

Easy online ordering, delivery and AMAZING food. I cannot find squid luau off the islands and this man brings it home. Tako so tender, taro leaves smooth with coconut milk. The poke so fresh- a kiss from the ocean and the smoked meat is a memory of family beach cook out. Mahalo nui loa Landeza's for offering Hawaiian home cooking. Can't wait to order again.

We attended a May Day wine release event at Ehrenberg Cellars featuring Landeza's Island catering. The food was very disappointing... a small leg of chicken, one scoop of rice and the tiniest container of Mac salad for $15. We had hoped to sample the Lau Lau' s but were unable because they were still frozen when we tried to order our food. Payment of only Venmo or exact change made It difficult for people who were not aware of payment accepted. Our overall experience was that they were not prepared for this event. The only redeeming comment would be that we very much enjoyed the music.
