My sister and me met this most wonderful server named Julie. We truly felt as though we were in Thailand and the food and especially the service was extraordinary. She made us feel as if we were old friends and took the time to educates us on her culture, we had the best dining experience. Thank you, Julie and the rest of the staff, at this incredible authentic establishment.John Donohue

We found this restaurant on TikTok and got very excited to eat here. Upon arrival we asked to get a table for 3 and was rushed to the table, I have been trying to take more videos to create content so as I was taking a video this other woman yells out can you follow her with an attitude. Instantly that was very confusing as I wasn't really interrupting anyone and my friends were following her to the table before me so ?? We ordered the cream cheese avocado wontons, smoke chili fried rice with crab meat, drunken noodles with prawn, and Thai basil ground chicken stir fry, and mango sticky rice. After ordering we asked to keep a menu in case we wanted to order anything else and the man helping us said okay, not even 1 minute later another lady comes to the table and asks me to give the menu, I told her I'm actually keeping it in case we order anything else she gave an attitude and walked back and forth eyeing us and the menu for a couple minutes .. weird and rude. The three people ( 2 woman and 1 man ) truly did not seem like they wanted to be there or if they did they definitely did not want to service us politely. The food was good .. it could've used a lot more flavor, but in the end not worth the $$ in my personal opinion, I've had way better Thai food for way less and with way nicer service. I can't say I 100% loved any of the 4 items I got. Also they charge $7 for a soda .......... I'll let you guys have your opinion on that one but to me that's insane ... not to mention you can be 1 person or in our case 3 people, or 5 they will charge you a 18% gratuity no matter what, I'm all for tipping ~ but adding 18% and then treating your customer like that is very ridiculous. The only thing that was probably my favorite were the wontons. The restaurant itself is very pretty, from nice seating, to beautiful chandeliers and displays it really sucks that this had to be our experience. We got no drinks for the 5 items we got it was $133 after the added gratuity ~ for that kind of service and lack of flavor it's not worth it. Sometimes a banged up hole in the wall is way better than a restaurant that offered presentation over quality and service. I personally will not be coming back here.

I am always underwhelmed when I eat at Laksana. Let's start with the positives: the ambience is stellar, upscale, I will give them that. Service is also not bad. I have always made a reservation when I come here, and had a seamless experience. The staff is courteous. My main issue with Laksana is the food. While the food looks beautiful, like their interiors, it lacks in taste and flavor. There are way better places in the bay area for Thai food.

We were so impressed with our experience here. The seating and decoration around the restaurant was so beautiful. We came with a large group of people and they were able to accommodate us with long table. The staff here is super friendly and checked in on us throughout the dinner. All the food was not only delicious but also presented very beautifully. The menu is also decently priced, considering the area the restaurant is located in.

I recently visited Laksana Thai Cuisine, located in Crescent Village. The restaurant is on the ground floor, surrounded by other eateries, with apartment homes above. Parking can be tricky; the small parking lot was full, so I opted for street parking. There's also a parking structure across the street if needed.Once inside, I was impressed by the beautifully decorated space. The sophisticated decor and furniture really set the mood, making me feel like I was transported to a traditional Thai setting. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Here's what I tried:Rotti: Very fragrant and reminded me of green onion pancakes, a pleasant surprise.Pad Thai: Huge portion and great flavor.Coconut Milk Soup: My favorite dish! It had the perfect balance of sour, spicy, and herby flavors, much like tom kha soup.Yellow Curry: Came with plenty of veggies and soup, a solid choice.Fish Cake: This was the only letdown for me. It came with just four small patties, and I didn't feel it was worth the price.Overall, the food is worth it with affordable pricing and great taste across the board, except for the fish cake.As for the service, it was attentive but lacking warmth. The staff didn't refill our water unless we asked, and while they were efficient, they were a bit too eager for us to leave once we'd paid, even though the restaurant wasn't full. They also forgot to bring lids for our to-go soup cups, a small oversight.Overall, Laksana Thai Cuisine offers delicious, affordable Thai food with a welcoming ambiance, but the service could be more attentive and friendly.

Parking might be a challenge if you come exactly around noon so try for underground retail parking (2 hrs free) or near nextdoor starbucks/ crescent park. The interiors are welcoming and the ambiance is grand as u step into the restaurant. The staff is beautifully draped in traditional thai attire and the chandeliers and seating are delightful to look at. Your mood will instantly relax :)In $80 (including madatory 18% tip), we got:- penang curry veg 5/5 - hot spicy - it was delish and huge!! Loved the consistency, quality of ingredients and flavorful curry. Hot was not spicy enough for me so i will be going up one more level next time. Rice needs to be ordered separately- white rice - standard- drunken noodles veg 5/5 - hot spicy - if u are indian like me and looking for spicy then go one level up. Hot was medium for me i guess. Huge portions!!- thai iced tea 3/5 - a little more watery than what i prefer- mango and sticky rice dessert 5/5 - omg huge and fantastic blend of fresh juicy sweet soft mango with sweetened rice in coconut milk topped with sesame seeds. Must try!!Even after over eating we couldnt finish any dish and had large to-go boxes :) Very friendly staff and restaurant was loud as it was almost full at lunch time and tables were very closely placed to accomodate more folks.Deducting 1 star for mandatory gratuity of 18% for 2 people which seems outrageous for lunch. Especially when you are rushing the customers by placing desserts and bill while we are still eating the main course.Definitely coming back to try more soon :) and enjoy their outdoor seating next time!

I went back and forth on this, but I rate three stars mainly because I more enjoy the casual, home style Thai rather than this bougie Thai style.Fairly extensive menu. Beautiful food for certain. But taste and flavor was not special. I think they try quite hard to give dishes that unique flair. But it lacks that comfort food feeling one often gets with Thai.Service was very fast and courteous. I wouldn't say congenial at all though. Garage parking is good. But the cost is in the high end.

I love ordering from Laksana when I'm in town for work. The food is fantastic, some of the best Drunken Noodles I've had! The restaurant is large and decorated with chic elegant features. I've ordered the Green Curry, Drunken Noodles, Curry Puffs, and various Salads. Highly recommend all the above items as the flavors are out of this world. My only comments are regarding the service, during various pickups I've gotten the cold shoulder from staff and they haven't been helpful with providing cutlery and answering questions. Also, white rice is not provided with the curry which seems like a given, so it's a surprise when ordering delivery that you only get the curry sauce for nearly $40 (including delivery fees!). Parking is tough to find for pick up but you can make it work parking in the street briefly. Otherwise, the food is fantastic and always hits like it should. Would definitely recommend as the flavor is out of this world.

Laksana is close to my office so a great place to go to dinner with coworkers. The space is really beautiful with lots of Thai decor. It felt really upscale without being overly fancy. I ordered the pad see ew and it was lovely. The portions were huge so I think sharing here is a good option. I loved that there was an entire menu just for vegetarians. We got there when it opened so we were seated and served quickly. Overall my takeaway is that the food was good but very pricey.

I came here for a work team lunch. Everyone in our group liked their decoration and comfy chairs. It's got a majestic temple vibe. Now onto the food.We ordered the cream-cheese avocado wonton and rotis to share. Those wontons are more like rangoons dipped in syrup. If they were served after the entree I wouldn't have problem eating them as dessert. The roti had a consistency more similar to that of a soft scallion pancake than a flaky crispy Malaysian roti. Overall, both items were just ok.I ordered the grilled salmon in banana leaf with a side of coconut rice as my entree. It didn't look like much when wrapped but oh boy, this was fish must have been marinated for hours. It was so creamy and paired perfectly with my coconut rice. This dish reminds me of Cambodian fish amok.Given its vicinity to several business parks, this restaurant mainly caters to business meals. That was reflected in its pricing which is steep for what you get. Since mine was paid for by the company I didn't mind it.
