Cozy kebab shop with the best Chapli Kebab in the Bay Area! Been here a few times and always enjoyed the after meal Chai! Our other favorites are Shami Kebab (chicken marinated in Chana dal), Crazy Curry fries and surprisingly Dahi Poori. Tikka Boti, Zinger burger, Chicken Haleem were OK nothing special.Service is friendly and answered all our questions. Will definitely keep coming back here!!

Placed order via clover online for dinner. The place looked closed when we arrived. And since it has nothing else nearby it looked dark and deserted. Realized we could go in to pick up and there were lights inside. Would have been nice if they had some lights outside to indicate that.Ordered the zinger burger with masala fries. The burger was very filling and tasty. Loved the sauce and the crispy chicken.Masala fries could use more masala.

Have been coming here for a while. The food is always very tasty, specially the meat items. I personally like their Zinger burger and Shami kabab. They also have lunch combos which have generous portions. Service is relatively fast and friendly. Be sure to have some chai with your food.

First impression when we pulled up-what have we gotten ourselves into? You pull off the 6 lane city street and into a neighborhood and suddenlyYou are pulling into a gravel lots with abandoned cars and a food truck. You walk toward the small building with no windows feeling as though you must have made an error inputting the address, since it looks like you might walk into a dive bar. Rest assured you are in the right place. As we walked in, taking the place in, it is true the business has made improvements on the interior to update the restaurant. It's a long and skinny building with a counter in the center breaking up the seating area and the kitchen. The staff was extremely friendly and patient as we scanned the menu and appeared willing to answer any questions. As I am not wildly familiar with Pakistani food, admittedly I wish I could decipher a few of the words on the menu better. Some things I was not 100% sure if they were a meat or vegetarian-and I really wanted meat, so I ended up going with something recognizable-tikka masala, platter version. It was fantastic. One of my coworkers did the same, and the other got a wrap. The coworker that got the wrap said it was just okay. It looked like chicken tenders and shredded cheddar cheese in a tortilla. He said it was "just okay". The tikka masala was delightful, a great texture on the sauce, great rice, and the bread served with it was fantastic. The reason I took off a star is the overall location, the open-ness to the kitchen led to the dining area becoming very smoky and I left with my hair and uniform stinking like barbecue which was frustrating. I think closing off the kitchen would be more appropriate if they are cooking with charcoal as the menu suggests. I hope they can afford to add some windows for ventilation and update the aging restrooms as time goes on. The concept of this restaurant has major potential. Consider adding more photos or explanation to the menu for folks to explore(although my lack of cultural knowledge is not their problem, but I do feel people would branch out more on the menu if they could picture was was coming). Additionally there was a fancy ice/water machine with wet cups on the counter for use, but the machine was completely dead and no signage causing probably every customer who wanted water to attempt to use it, become frustrated, until theirs eyes stumbled upon a stainless water fill off to the side of the counter. Silverware has staining showing its age-the knives especially. Felt like less than sanitary that all silverware was low on the counter for anyone to grab/contaminate. Thanks Lados!

Very low key, in older days we would refer to them as a dive, it is super causal, friendly, family oriented restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You order at the counter, get a buzzer and you get notified when your order is ready. We ordered the weekend special chicken biryani, curry fries and chicken tikka masala. The food was ready in about 7-10min max. The restaurant got packed by the time we were leaving. The food was delicious home cooked style meal and we truly enjoyed the experience. The spices came through deliciously and the chicken in the rice and in masala were very soft. Must admit that the fried chicken entrees were a major hit at all other tables and we will definitely order it next as it seems very crunchy. The portions are decent as well. We will definitely be back.

Lados is a hole-in-the-wall but cozy and clean South-Asian fusion spot in Sunnyvale, perfect for those who enjoy discovering hidden gems. While it may not have the same reputation as a certain iconic eatery that originated in Mountain View (you know the one, if you know, you know), Lados brings its own unique style to the table.I've been here several times and also ordered through DoorDash, but IMHO for this kind of street-food-inspired cuisine, dining in is the way to go. The food is hot, fresh, and significantly better when enjoyed on-site compared to takeout. In the past, I've tried their Zinger Burger and the Bomb Kebab Burger. The latter is actually my favorite. The patty is juicy, zesty, and absolutely melts in your mouth. On my recent visit, I tried the Andaywala (egg-based) Chicken Burger and the Tikka Burger. Both were delicious, though I think the Chicken Shami patty in the Andaywala Burger could use more chicken and less chickpeas for a better balance. We got a salad and fries on the side. The salad was fresh, but the fries were okay. The one area where Lados needs improvement is service. It consistently takes a long time for the food to arrive. On my last visit, the server acknowledged the delay and offered us complimentary masala chai, which was a nice gesture--but honestly, I'd prefer timely service over a free drink. All in all, Lados is definitely worth a try. They have a lot of potential, and I hope they work on consistency and service to make the dining experience even better.

Such a beautiful hole in the wall place that you wouldn't know was sitting in a residential neighborhood of Sunnyvale. The outdoor area is super cute and very nice for a warm fall night dinner. We came here on a Sunday night and it was fairly busy.I've heard great things about the fried chicken here and we had to come back with our friends to spread the joy! Definitely get the chicken tikka masala, it was 9/10, with very juicy and tender pieces of chicken.Your order at the counter and seating is open. We would definitely come back with more friends!

Lados restaurant presents a mixed dining experience. I began my visit with a cup of tea, which was truly enjoyable, setting a positive tone for the meal. The tea was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a highlight of the visit. However, the main dishes were a letdown. The Tikka paratha wrap was neither good nor tasty. It lacked the expected flavors and did not meet the standards of a satisfying meal. Additionally, the Tikka boti was just okay but unfortunately served cold, which significantly affected the overall enjoyment of the dish.On a positive note, Lados boasts a nicely designed interior and exterior, creating a pleasant ambiance. The décor is inviting and well thought out, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the restaurant.Despite the attractive setting and a good start with the tea, the overall experience at Lados was not as good as expected. The disappointing main dishes overshadowed the positives, making it unlikely that I would recommend the restaurant based on this visit.

Interesting paki/Indian food. I think they added a twist to some things with the burgers and the wraps. The kebab burger patty had some interesting spices. The dahi puri was good but I wish I didn't take it to go as it gets soggy quickly.Really cool concept tho and the good was tasty so I def recommend

second time at lados. came in on a friday evening and it was pretty barren inside. not a lot of people (deceiving) which is surprising considering the quality of foodordered the zinger burger with fries and a side of zinger sauce. my bill came out to $16-17 i believe. food came out hot and fast.the portions are massive , the food is flavorful and it's really a one of a kind chicken sandwich. for my other fried chicken foodies, maybe you've had chicken gs and that's at the top, but tbh this sandwich takes the cake for me. really great spot4.5/5
