La Taquiza Zarape- Tacos Catering

Went to a Kid's Birthday Party and La Taquiza Zarape was there catering. (2) young gals came early, set up their grills and foot stationMy goodness! The food was delicious Mad Chingon!Wish I grabbed more togo!

Hired La Taquiza Zarape for my son's birthday and was blown away by how wonderful they were! Great communication to set up, arrived early day of to set up, and delighted all our guests with the delicious food and personable staff. Their setup is all inclusive, which means it comes with the table setup, utensils, condiments, and more. This made it a no brainer for our event since we didn't need to think about anything food related. They made the best quesadillas that even the pickiest of kids (my son) ate with no problem, and there was a crispy cheese thing that all the adults were going crazy over. Yum! As with any event, the folks staffing day-of make a huge difference. They were so friendly and personable, making small talk with all the guests while cooking up delectable food. We had a number of guests ask for their info because they were so impressed. Highly recommend them for your next event, and I can't wait to use them again for our next party!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about these caterers. We used them for our daughter's first birthday party and everyone raved about the food. They were reliable, friendly, prepared AND the food was incredible. So many compliments from our guests. Will definitely be using them again for future events. Best tacos ever!! Claudia and her husband are very nice people and their food is amazing. This is the third or fourth time I hire them for different events, never wrote a review for them but they deserve to be known as the best taquiza. I hired them this last time for my birthday celebration in my backyard, everything was delicious, the meat, the quesadillas, the agua fresca, the salsas, everything so tasty and unique, high quality service.

I wish I could give Maria and Jose 10 stars, but alas I'm limited to 5. We had La Taquiza Zarape cater our baby shower for 60+ people and they were just incredible. They were so easy to communicate with via email to schedule and plan our menu. They were so flexible with their menu to accommodate all our changes and additions. They arrived on time and worked with our venue to set up an AMAZING stand. I thought everything they were prepping smelled amazing but I couldn't believe how it tasted. They make everything to order but move so quickly. With their griddle, they can make tacos, quesadillas and tostada. And my god those tostadas. Most of our guests had multiple plates of food and agreed it was some of the best Mexican they've had. They even packed me some leftovers for the most delicious post shower breakfast!They are very reasonable priced per head, they cover all the fixings and agua frescas and i cannot wait to have another event so we can have them back!

My graduation party was a great success thanks to Mr Jose and his assistant (sorry forgot his name) they were extremely friendly and the food was delicious, I was glad I ordered extra food because my guest keeped going back for more. Tacos were so amazing, quesadillas were to die for.Thank you again for the great food can't wait for the next party to have you carter again.

I booked them for my sons 1st birthday in June 2019, so this review has been overdue. Staff was friendly, clean, and professional. They were nice to drive to San Jose for the party and they arrived on time, (20 minutes earlier than scheduled). The meat was freshly cooked and my guest loved it! I kept hearing from my guest that they made delicious tostadas and quesadillas. I till this day think about the tacos I had, I can't wait to book them again for my next event.

Just had them cater a baby shower. Second time we have hired them and have only positive things to say. The tostadas are the bomb.

By far the BEST!!!! A family owned business. I had booked With Maria Claudia over the phone for my friend's wedding for late night food. She was very kind over the phone and in person. She communicated with me prior to the date and also the day of with her ETA. She assured me the service would run fast and smoothly for 210 people. Now the food!! Everyone enjoyed the food it gets cooked when they arrive not reheat. That's a plus for me!! It is truly made with LOVE!! I will be referring all my family and friends to them! They will be my go to for all my events!!
