Not bad but definitely not running to come back. My boyfriend and I both got the carne asada super burritos. I originally wanted cabeza but they said they didn't have any at the time which was disappointing. The asada burrito was decent though! My favorite part was the toasted tortilla. It helped to keep the burrito warm and had a nice light crisp for each bite. Other than that nothing really stood out to me. The salsas were also not wowing me. I wish they had an orange one!We waited around 15-20 minutes for our order when there was no line so I don't know how long it takes when it's busy. However, the food definitely sounds like it's being made fresh in there! The lady who took our order and handed it to us was very kind. There wasn't any seating around this taco truck so be ready to take your food to go!

The service was amazing. Ana was a sweetheart. She let me know what the food trucks name meant and the food was amazing. Coming from San Jose living here in Fremont you don't find authentic Mexican food, but this place was legit. I would definitely come here again. And they take Apple Pay.

We've been wanting to try La Orizabeña for a while now. The last time we tried they weren't there. So today, we called first to see if they were there and they were! So tip...call first before you head over otherwise you may or may not be disappointed. In short, an enjoyable meal that filled us up and didn't feel super heavy but my fingers are definitely smelling like what I ate which just makes me hungry for more.L O C A T I O NLa Orizabeña is a food truck that parks in the parking lot in the front next to Red Wing Shoes. Although there's only two parking spots in the front, there's more in the back which is where I parked today. They have one small table with a few chairs in the front of the truck if you want to eat there but it was really really cold today so most folks took food and ran into their trucks/cars.M E N UThe menu is pretty standard in terms of Mexican food. Is it Mexican? Let me know if I'm wrong but tacos, burritos, tortas, and other plates. We stuck to the torta (El Chavo with added carne asada) and a few tacos (al pastor, carnitas, and lengua). We were looking at the photos on Yelp and wanted to get this ham plus carne asada torta. So they can add any additional meats to the tortas. So we got the El Chavo and added carne asada for $2.50 I believe. I think it did help with the flavor of this torta for sure. Bread was sturdy. Came with lettuce, onion (which we probably should have asked to not include), tomatoes, refried beans, avocado, and a slice of queso fresco. All the meats felt like they were grilled to order. Overall, this sandwich was good. I didn't feel like I tasted the refried beans at all nor the avocado so I was a little surprised to read that in the menu description as I was writing up this review. Cucumbers as well as some green salsa came with the dish which was great. I slathered my sandwich in that green lime forward salsa which wasn't super spicy at all.The tacos were good though again should've said no onions as I have a sensitivity to it. The lengua tender, the carnitas cooked well and that al pastor was well seasoned and my favorite of the three. Came with some limes and the green salsa which I again slathered on the tacos. Not that there wasn't any flavor. It's very light and balanced. I wanted a little more kick and oomph and I'm glad they packed some salsa in there.S E R V I C EPretty easy to order. We also called in and they were nice enough to let us know they were there. It does take a while to get the food so expect to wait at least 10 min or more if they're busy. Easily paid by card but you can pay by cash. When the food is ready, they try to yell out your order. So you should remember what you ordered :) Today, they yelled out Torta. But we also had other stuff so we just had to remember who was in front of us as it seems like the food comes out in order.O V E R A L LIt's a great option for tacos and other Mexican fare. I'm excited to try out the other dishes to see how they are as well as the other meats. The flavors felt more fresh than heavy which is lovely. But remember to check to make sure they're around before going as sometimes they don't make it to their usual spot. See and try them out for yourself!

Tried out their asada tacos for dinner takeout, which was good overall. All the components were good, but the meat was a bit lackluster in taste. Their spicy salsa added a nice kick. Tacos were $3 each. You will have to wait a bit (less than 10 minutes) while they make the food fresh to order. Location has some parking adjacent to the truck, and there is a table with a few chairs in front along with a standing table on the side of the truck. Otherwise, eating in car or takeout would be more likely. It is a large blue truck visible on the street, you won't miss it.

Food truck parked in front of Coach's Sports Bar and in the same plaza as Redwing. I've driven by many times and have had it bookmarked since I saw decent sized lines and high reviews. The first time I tried coming, the truck wasn't there and I had my heart dead set on trying it. I don'twas so disappointed I don't even remembwr what I got to eat as a replacement. The week after was redemption and I was on mission to make sure I ate here, especially after seeing a unique pork brain taco I haven't seen elsewhere. Unfortunately they did not have these the day I went but the overall food was still great and I will return.Choripapa: Chorizo mixed with mashed potatoes in. It has plenty of Cotija cheese and lettuce and it cuts the chorizo nicely. Comes in a crunchy deep-fried shell.Garnachas: Grilled corn tortilla with shredded beef, onions, and potatoes. Beef was a bit dry but adding salsa helped.Tacos and Burritos: Very good, I loved the sliced cucumbers on the side which I haven;'t seen other places nearby offer. Chicken, al pastor, and cabeza all tasted great and would repeat. Would definitely get the cabeza again and try their take on suadero next time.

La Orizabena is parked in front of Coach's bar. it can be easily missed as Fremont Blvd. takes a rounded turn and one's attention is fixated on the road, not the address. eye catching design of truck will signal their location.offerings: tacos, burritos, antojitos (sopes. huarache, nachos, flauntas, tostadas, choripaps, enpanadas), tortas, quesadillas, platos, specials.eats: al pastor, suadero, lengua tacos (3, 3, 3.50)-ample amount of protein for pastor & suadero. lengua pricier, had the least amount. lengua was moist, slightly juicy, pastor dry & fried. suadero flakey , dry, *some patrons commented they liked the meats "extra crispy"-accompanied by cucumber slices, lime squeeze, tasty red & green salsas.-wait time exceeded 10 minutes. it's not just scoop & go. they actually reheat or heat the proteins when order is placed. 4.5 stars good value as to portion size. prefer proteins moist/juicy, not friedfrijoles refritos:-large selections to choose from. good place to try a variety of eats.-no seating. Coach's bar is an option.

My recent visit to La Orizabeña marked my third experience at this Fremont Mexican food truck, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. Despite my initial enthusiasm, the wait times and inconsistencies in service have been consistent disappointments. On this occasion, the wait under the scorching sun for our Choripapas was longer than expected, and the communication regarding the wait time could have been clearer and more proactive. When the food finally arrived, it lacked the promised zest and freshness, leaving me underwhelmed. Additionally, the oversight regarding the lime accompaniment and the overpowering taste of oil were notable letdowns.Reflecting on previous visits, similar issues regarding wait times and sauce portions have arisen, hinting at a pattern rather than isolated incidents. It's disheartening to feel overlooked or undervalued as a customer, especially when witnessing inconsistencies in service delivery.Furthermore, my recent curiosity led me to investigate the health inspection scores, revealing some concerning findings from past assessments. While the truck has managed to address some issues, there remains room for improvement, particularly in areas such as hand hygiene and food preparation safety. In the spirit of constructive feedback, I hope that La Orizabeña can take these observations into consideration and strive towards providing a more consistent and satisfying dining experience for its patrons. With the right adjustments and improvements, there's potential for this food truck to regain its allure and reputation within the community.

This is a solid location for good tacos. Today I tried 3 items:Carne asada tacos Chicken tacos Chorizo papa crunchy tacoSteak is flavored very well and the chicken has a good grilled taste as well. The salsa verde is very tasty however, the red salsa was a no for me. The chorizo papa taco was bland but it comes with a good amount of toppings which includes cheese, sour cream and lettuce. My ratings as follows:Carne asada tacos 8/10Chicken 9/10Chorizo papa taco 5/10Salsa verde 10/10Salsa roja 4/10I did want to try their chorizo queso empanadas but they didn't have any today :(Overall worth coming back for. Maybe next time they'll have the empanadas. 4.75 stars!
