I really can't speak more highly about the food at LG. I've been coming here for years and while the prices have increased due to inflation, the quality and taste of the food has remained consistently delicious! The ginormous burritos are always prepared freshly and with generous portions of meat, produce and beans. The tacos are made with a delicate balance of softness and a warm crunch supporting mounds of meat, cheese and pico de gallo. It's never a risk here and you're sure to be gastronomically satisfied. So, order in or out and happy eating, provecho!

Wow I was reading the bad reviews so I really didn't have high hopes. I was so surprise when I walked in and the customer service was spot on, they're so welcoming and friendly they let us sit where ever we wanted. We ordered a super asada burrito, coctel de camarón, filete de pescado and a torta de asada as well as a líquido de banana. Everything was AMAZING so freaking good, this spot gave me so much nostalgia of an actual Mexican restaurant in Mexico, I'll definitely come again and again.

Super burrito has no meat. They are so Skimpy on the meat it was incredible. There was more cilantro and onions than carne asada. It was in essence a bean and rice and cilantro burrito. Don't eat here. Don't waste your time or money.

Order here often, their cabeza and chile verde are awesome! Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review, is food safety. I bought a bottle of their hot sauce via DoorDash a few days ago, and today when I opened it up for the first time it bubbled over and smelled off. I get that there are no preservatives in the sauce but didn't expect it to go bad within days, when it's been refrigerated since purchase. Unfortunately the bottles don't list an expiration or production date, it's there on the label but no information is provided.

There's a reason why this place has such low ratings and a health score of 78 out of 100. I get that it's hard running a small business but when you serve food that makes people sick, that's a serious problem. I've been receiving harassing messages from an account that has been flagged as not recommended. Just be aware that if you post a bad review for this place, you'll likely be getting personal insults.

I love this place so much! They have amazing menudo and I also love their carne asada tacos. My boyfriend enjoys the torta and the super carne asada burrito. I love their customer service and they are always attentive. Don't miss out, it's a hidden gem!

If you end up eating here, you might as well schedule a doctor's appointment because you'll likely get sick afterwards. I didn't even finish what I ordered. This place urgently needs inspection by the health department. I felt obligated to inform people about this establishment. Furthermore, the staff and the owner are some of the rudest people I've encountered. I got up and left after overhearing the owner yelling at someone over the phone. I honestly have no clue how this place is still in business.After reading other reviews, it appears the owner is busy doing damage control by replying to others' experiences with insults and dismissive remarks, claiming they are lying. Been coming here for years in San Jo before tacos and taquerias ever became a thing back in the day. This place has been the same for decades. Hidden gem. If you know, you know. Love this place

I ate there for the first time yesterday and liked it. I had the Super Burrito and it was very big and a good value. I am disabled and the server was very helpful serving me. The Super burrito was served with regular metal fork and knife which is better than some places which only have plastic utensils.
