La Esperanza TriColor is a Mexican grocery that's been here a few years. there's limited parking nearby. found parking in front.offerings: meat dept. fruits & vegetables, mex. groceries, snacks, dairy, tamales, etc. eats: sweet corn, pork tamale (total: 4.98) 100% mexican-passed on chicken (usually dry) and cheese chili-the cream corn one was bigger, had cream corn embedded thruout tamale.-the pork meat was red coloured, slightly peppery in taste. yummy taste.-didn't look for drink since mex. drinks are also very sweet.*tamale tray is at left side of entrance.

Have been a customer of this place for years...yesterday had lots of charges on my receipt that were not part of my purchase. Noticed when I got home. Additionally the male cashier that rang me up said he had to charge my card twice because his cash register had reached its limit. Honestly thinking back this happened before as well. Still waiting till they open today to get my money reimbursed. Yesterday was my last time coming here. Truly lost a loyal customer! Look at your receipt before walking out the door ya'll!!!!

I do not recommend this place have a bad customer service, I went for a chicharrones and I asked the person if the chicharones was fresh and he answered that if I wanted fresh that made them in my house, I think it is no way to treat to a client, my first visit and the last ......and I'm Latino expected of a white person...

I really don't know what the other reviewer experienced back in 2016 but my wife and I who are tamale making rookies went in there today and the associates were fantastic! Helped us get all the stuff we needed from the fresh masa to the pork lard to the corn husks.....everything! All three associates I encountered were very friendly and helpful; store smelled great also, only draw back is it's not in the best part of town but the store itself and its associates were all outstanding! If you are making tamales for Christmas, this is the place to come.
