High concept version of your familiar Korean flavors and dishes. Expensive in price, but justifies it in food quality and service. Here's for a more detailed review.Food: 4.8/5We ordered the Snow Crab Twigim (대게 튀김), Wagyu Dduk-Galbi (와규 떡갈비), Wagyu Seolleongtang (와규 설렁탕), Bulgogi Bibimbap (불고기 비빔밥), and Spicy Oxtail Jjim (매운꼬리찜). We had the chance to try the Kimchi Ssam (김치 쌈) and Wagyu Bulgogi (와규 석쇠 불고기). Everything was so tasty and served nice and fresh. My favorite dishes were the wagyu bulgogi and snow crab twigim. I'm usually not a fan of oxtail BUT I had several bites of the spicy oxtail jjim because of how tender and delicious the oxtail was cooked. The presentation was absolutely beautiful too, a real celebration of Korean cuisine. The various banchan was served in small and delicate plates. All the banchan was delicious, and some of the banchan offerings were items I don't typically see in Korean restaurants in the bay! Service: 6/5The service was outstanding. From the check in to the end, the service was exceptional. Our banchan was constantly refilled, the hot tea (!!!) was always refilled, and our food came out at a decent pace. Our server was super nice and kind. I don't remember her name but she was a petite Asian woman. Props to her for making our first visit so wonderful!Ambiance: 5/5Beautifully decorated, the lighting and furnishings really make you feel like you're in a high end place. The bathrooms were small but well maintained. I love the wooden interior all around, you don't even realize you're in some random strip mall in Mountain View. Overall: 5/5Would come back and bring my parents. It's pricy, but they justify it in the food quality and service. There are many more items on the menu I would like to try, and I will be paying attention over the course of my next visits to see if my amazing first experience will be a continued one!

Review is for a large catering order of Kimbap, we were helping plan a baby shower and my coworker picked up a wide assortment morning of.They have a luxury version of Kimbap with caviar, abalone, house pickled vegetables, and gold leaf and it may be worth trying some day because their "normal" versions are fantastic. The rice to fillings ratio was perfect and the quality remained high despite a large order size. Protein Kimbap: the rice is substituted for egg, the mouth texture is different but it's perfect if you are craving Kimbap but on a non-carb diet.Spicy Shrimp: this version was so good and my favorite, nice light heat and the shrimp is lightly breaded and fried.I saw some pictures of the interior and this is going to be a must visit for us after we tried their Kimbap! The interior is minimal and has a warm Scandinavian vibe. It sounds silly but I think it'll make the food taste even better when dining in.

Joined the waitlist on the way to Mountain View, so we only waited 15 mins outside and 50 mins including the drive. The host was attentive, gave us a call once our table was ready as we were waiting outside. There is an outdoor waiting area with heat lamps to keep you warm. Once seated, the host did let us know due to the number of people waiting, the dining time would be one hour.Ordered spicy pork bibimbap, seafood tofu soup, Wagyu galbi, and galbijim for entrees. As for appetizers, we ordered beef tartare and the Chilean seabass wrapped in sea laver. Loved the appetizers. The seabass was my favorite! A crispy bite onto the laver, leading into the buttery seabass and spicy aioli that swarms your mouth. Snow crab, shrimp, and scallop in every bite of the tofu soup.Spicy pork bibimbap was ordinary. The meat was so tender that it melted in my mouth for the galbijim. The Wagyu galbi was a bit chewy for me.Every entree was served as an individual meal with their own set of side dishes. The side dishes were definitely on point. Definitely not your usual.

Pros:- Service is amazing! The staff is very attentive, comes around in a cart with ban chan, the waitress was able to offer good suggestions based on asking about our taste, and our water was always full.- Food was great! I love the individual ban chan selection from the famous shrimp pancake to the daikon kimchi, there's something for everyone. I ordered the mixed tofu soup and enjoyed the variety of shrimp, crab, scallop along with the wagyu beef. - Restaurant ambiance was instantly makes you feel that you are in a clean and special restaurant. Perfect for date nights, friend hang outs, and with family.Cons:- A bit on the pricier side especially with the stews or grilled meats- can get busy with the popularity of the restaurant so make sure to plan ahead especially if you have a big group- Not much going on around that area, so would definitely need to drive to downtown (~10min away) if you want after dinner activitiesOverall, highly recommend and would return over and over again!

I think I just found my new favorite Korean restaurant! I came here yesterday for lunch and am already making plans to go back. For appetizers, we ordered seafood pancake, snow crab twigim, and Chilean seabass twigim. I loved all of them, but if I had to pick only one appetizer, I would go with the seafood pancake. It doesn't look appetizing tbh, but it had a lot of seafood in it and not full of batter. The dipping sauce that came with it was also good. For entrees, we ordered Wagyu bulgogi, Wagyu Galbi, mackerel, Wagyu oxtail jjim, mixed tofu soup and snow crab tofu soup. Out of all the entrees we ordered, my favorite were the mackerel and Wagyu galbi (I'm still drooling just thinking about it). Next time, I would probably skip the tofu soup and try another soup. Their tofu soup was good and had a lot of crab meat, but it was also on the lighter side (flavor wise) compared to the ones at Tofu House.Anyway, I can't wait to come back here. Great service and delicious food, what more can you ask for?

The wait was actually decent, Sunday 12pm waited for 20min for a table for 2. The service was very good! We were served with barley tea and food came out in sets with various banchan. I loooove their banchan, apart from normal kimchi, cucumber and sort, they have abalone, kabocha salad and some other stuff for banchan, and they would continuously checking which banchan is running out on your table and refill (except abalone). The main dishes were super tasty too! I really enjoyed the grilled cod and galbi. The inside is aesthetically pleasing, bright and clean, no strong Korean restaurant smell floating inside either, so my clothes didn't get any smell coming out of the restaurant. It's also not pricey considering the service and the ambiance. I would def come back to this place!

An upscale version compared to their Santa Clara location with a focus on high quality ingredients - great for a date/ nice night out.Food 4/5 Mixed soondubu 4/5 - I loved the quality of the beef and how big and fresh the shrimp was. The scallop was also very nicely sized although a bit disappointing there was only 1 piece inside. I knock off a point because I wish there was an egg included like most places and I noticed the soup didn't come out bubbling hot like a volcano. Snow crab appetizer 5/5 - I loved how light the batter was. It was not greasy or oily and you could still taste the sweetness of the snow crab. It was like the batter had a nice crunch at first bite but it disappears like air in your mouth. Oxtail seolleongtang - 4/5. A simple basic broth that comes very plain but with a side of salt, green onions and condiments so you can flavor to your likening. I really appreciate the amount of meat on the oxtails and the side sauce that you can dip the meat in.Service 3.5/5 - the staff was very nice and attentive but I knocked off a point due to being a bit disappointed we were never offered a refill on our banchan. I noticed that there is a service cart that roams the room where you can refill/replace the many side dishes that comes with your meal but our table never got offered any. Also there was a little bit of a time pressure to eat and leave but that's understandable given the popularity and long wait lists.

Wagyu in soft tofu soup seems a bit decadent and over doing it but it's absolutely delicious and completely worth the experience. We also ordered the wagyu bulgogi which turned out to be a tad bit too sweet for our tastes. Most of the banchan are decent as well and the service was top notch. The vibe inside is pretty nice. They have plenty of waiting space outside if the weather is pleasant. And as an added bonus, you can add yourself to the Yelp wait list ahead of time if you don't want to show up and wait.
