Unfortunately for me there was a hair in my burger. And a waste of money for me..

I finally had an opportunity to drive down to San Jose after a long day of errands (including a smog check) yesterday, and I looked through my Google Maps "Want to go" restaurants that I saved, and happened upon King's Burger from watching this video 3 months ago.I made the drive on my newly repaired car to keep testing the starter I replaced by myself earlier that morning, and man, was the drive worth it. I drove back home and tried that #4 burger, and dang, the piles of hot meat and melted cheese, that juice and grease really satisfied my errand hunger! The chicken teriyaki plate was all right, though. Of course, the burgers are what the restaurant is best known for.Although it's far, I am willing to go try them again if I'm in the area!

Came on a Saturday for lunch and were able to find parking in the lot in the back. It wasn't too busy, there were a few people in front of us in line and we waited about 15 min after ordering for our food. We got the king's burger and the bacon combo, and upgraded the fries to cheese fries. The menu only shows combos, but you can ask to just get a burger without fries or a drink. Out of the two burgers, the bacon one was definitely better - it had a lot more flavor and sauce, the regular burger was still good but felt a little plain in comparison. The fries themselves are okay, but they add a ton of cheese to the fries so definitely getting your moneys worth. It is a little pricier than I thought it was going to be (almost $30 after tax), but I would say it's still a good place to come if you want a classic burger.

I haven't had king's burger in a minute and let me tell you it's just as good as I remember from my childhood, although as a kid they seemed so much bigger. Anyways I got the 1. King's Burger Combo, the burger was juicy and packed with flavor. Fry's are amazing crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I don't know why I took so long to come back to this place, I need to change that. They do have a variety of other things if you don't want burgers, they have hot sandwich items, teriyaki plates along with other stuff.

Not sure about all they hype.....I thought I'd try since it's close to Cardenas' market taqueria where i stop by to pick up a super burrito when I'm in that area around Story and King. Also, it's near my usual Harbor Freight...Anyway, back to the burger....I would say decent with fresh onions, tomato, and lettuce, but the taste of the meat was a little bland, had to keep adding ketchup drops to it as i took bites. Noticed the sauce by the time i got into the bottom half...As a fast cook freshly prepared burger, it's decent, like i said, maybe comparable but less smoky flavor compared to St. Johns Bar & Grill off Lawrence Expressway in Sunnyvale--not sure if i would compare the setting, just the burger itself. This place is better than typical fast food but no where as good as the fine Super Duper Burger chain or the old classic burger joints in SF like Bill's, Mel's Diner, etc. However, if i have a fix for a decent burger and I'm in the area, King's Burger it is!

Nothing extraordinary, just a family owned business whose been in the game for decades serving great backyard style burgers. Lots of seating and ample parking. Don't expect your tables to be free of grease and floors spotless, enjoy the setting and eat your heart away. Menu is vast, lots of options outside of burgers as well. Service was pretty fast, burgers came out in 6 minutes.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. There's plenty of parking there and a plaza nearby with a lot of parking. The inside gave me the vibes of an old, rustic burger place. In all honesty it made the place feel a bit dirty too, we were also bothered by files the entire time when eating.I got the double combo. I didn't particularly want a drink but it came with it anyways. The burger itself was quite good, the 2 patties were very rich and juicy. I did think the rest of the burger was a bit dry, could have used some sauce inside. The crinkle fries were decent. A good crunch to them. I did also try the onion rings but they weren't anything special.

Came here for lunch after hearing online reviews! I loved the burger texture and the taste of the meat my only complaint was it is a little dry. I got the onion ring substitution it costed a bit more it was decent. I liked the fries more than the onion rings. Service took about 5-10 minutes. The food was piping hot definitely just cooked it. Sit down was decent inside. Definitely loved the burger!

What can I say, hole in the wall restaurant in East San Jose. Good food at an affordable price. Come by and support our local business owner.

I definitely had my reservations when pulling into the private parking lot right behind the store, but dang, King's Burger House makes a pretty darn good burger. It's that classic, super greasy, burger that you'd expect--and it's satisfying. Shredded lettuce, American cheese, sliced onions, and a slice of tomato on a sesame bun. Dripping with grease all over your wrapper, this burger hits the spot if you're craving a greasy burger. Fries were your classic waffle kind of fries. Nothing to write home about out. No self serve station for sodas and we didn't ask about refills. Acrylic glass surrounding the counter? Probably because of the neighborhood. A good number of tables inside and outside. Yes, the tables are dinghy, but they work and I believe most people do take out. Service was nice. Not as fast as I was initially expecting, but they're making it fresh--you can smell the buckets and buckets of oil and grease in the air. I'd come back if I was in the neighborhood for greasy classic cheeseburgers.

Very clean location, they have a great staff and the food is made to order. I tried their chicken teriyaki rice plate. The plate comes with salad, rice, and an egg roll included. The egg roll was piping hot and crispy. If you're in the area it's a must try.
