Kilovolt Coffee

I haven't been here for a while, but I finally came in today and left with my favorite cup of coffee. Will be back more often!

It's a cute little spot with good espresso drinks and surprisingly good bagels that I was finally able to give a try. Will be back soon!

It's a great spot if you're looking for a quick, satisfying snack with your coffee.The space is small with limited seating, so it might not be the best place to linger if you're hoping to settle in for a while. Parking is also limited to street options.Overall, Kilovolt is a solid choice for a quick stop to recharge with a good cup of coffee and a bite to eat.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! Though I'm not much of a coffee drinker, my go-to order is an iced oat mocha. It can get a bit busy at times, so if you're in a rush, I recommend placing your order online. On top of that, parking is easy, the music is great, and the breakfast is always outstanding. This coffee shop is awesome! Customer service is top notch! Attentive and respectful! Definitely a coffee shop to keep in the Oakland community. And best coffee I've tasted.

Stopped by before climbing and tried that seasonal jasmine Cold Brew with black sesame foam. It was so good, tasted like a tea/coffee blend. I enjoyed it so much I had to copycat it at home. It was a such a unique drink that if I ever visit the area for a climb again I'd want to try their drinks.

My boyfriend and I were headed to San Francisco and stopped by Kilovolt for the first time. We didn't even look at the standard menu since the seasonal drinks spoke to us. I got the salted caramel latte and my boyfriend got the pumpkin spice latte. We both shared a lox bagel. The drinks were so good! I loved how the flavors didn't overpower the coffee itself. Definitely recommend you to come try. The lox bagel held us until we got to our lunch spot and it actually filled us up a good amount!

A good coffee shop in West Oakland. When I entered, I was greeted right away despite there being a line of about three to four people. When it was my turn to order, I just got a regular drip coffee to go and it tasted strong and woke me up.I didn't stay long but I saw a couple of people working on their laptops. The cafe is about medium sized with a couple seats (not small, which I define as standing room only cafes, which seem to be increasing in numbers, but this cafe isn't huge either). So it can be a good spot to chat with a friend or get some work done.There aren't too many coffee shops in this part of Oakland, so if you're in need of coffee, Kilovolt is pretty much the main option within walking distance. Overall it's a great cafe in the community.

I've been to this coffee shop many times, whether it be for a quick little snack or a nice little drink. Each time, I've had great experiences. The drinks are great - they offer milk substitutes (that's a major plus for me). The customer service is top notch - everyone is friendly and welcoming! Their sandwiches are pretty bomb too! Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed!!

I have been a regular customer at this coffee shop for two years and today received the worst customer service I have ever had here. The register person knew nothing about the menu items and seems very spaced out. The coffee was lukewarm and when I asked for a warm-up, I was told no and rudely told I would have to wait four minutes for a new pot. when I commented to my companion, not the staff!! that I felt like I was in the twilight zone I was then attacked by someone I think is in management and told there are two other coffee shops I'm welcome to go to if I don't like the service here. I managed a coffee shop for over 10 years and in my experience, this is not the way to build customer loyalty or community. I wasn't even speaking to that person nor asking for their feedback about where to buy my coffee. There was no attempt to understand what I really needed and it was definitely met with contempt for asking for something after having paid $20 for drinks and a sandwich. Not sure what the issue was, but I will be sharing this experience on all social media platforms, as well as Google and Yelp. Oh and also trying the other 2 options she recommended
