Karen Bevels was FABULOUS to work with. Will, our catering manager, took care of everything and completely brought my vision to life. I am so happy I chose Karen Bevels as our caterer for our office holiday party. I also love that Will worked with a pipe and drape company so I didn't have to deal with that. He also added cute touches to the party like adding signs for speciality cocktails and brought some holiday decorations I didn't even ask for. On top of that, the food was amazing!!! I will definitely be using Karen Bevels again!!

Karen Bevels Catering came up with a wonderful menu for our wedding! Will was very communicative and professional work with, and was able to help us with all our requests and concerns. They made sure there would be enough food, considering that we wanted a cocktail-type reception with small-plates rather than a sit-down dinner. They were able to accommodate our need for a fully vegetarian menu with gluten-free options. The food was delicious!The day of the wedding, Connie made sure that we had enough snacks in our Bride and Groom getting ready rooms and made sure we were in the right place at the right time. She was amazing! We need to give Will a special shout-out because he also did month-of wedding coordination for us and made sure that all the various vendors were able to work together smoothly. They made the wedding a successful event!

Karen is top notch professional. Her experience is in depth and her food is amazing. She recently catered my 100 guest wedding, and everyone went back for seconds and thirds. She has exquisite taste and her attention to detail is impeccable. If you have a small or great event, Karen is the best!

KB was an amazing partner while planning my client's wedding. We worked with Will who is professional, helpful, and genuinely a kind person. As a planner who has worked with many caterers, I can see that Will went above and beyond to help our couple and make their wedding day great. He was helpful and great to work with throughout the planning process and also on the day of the wedding. The entire team was great to work with on the day and the food was also delicious! As a planner, or as a couple, you want to know you have a solid team of vendors working together to make your wedding day amazing. Will and his team were a big part of that, and I will definitely recommend them to future couples and other planners.

My birthday hat is off to Karen Bevels Catering for all their help in ensuring my successful Birthday Benefit! This is the first time I've reviewed on Yelp and I give my highest recommendation to Karen & her team. They worked with me from start to finish ensuring every detail was met & exceeded. The food was fabulous & my guests complimented me all evening on the pleasant, professional & helpful demeanor of Karen's team. I had plenty of grand ideas of how I wanted my party to go including food representations from around the globe. I discussed them with Karen & Alisha every step of the way & they also gave me some great ideas as well. Karen & her team were very accommodating to my requests for last minute changes. Ugh I was even changing things down to the final week of the party & Karen was extremely patient & helpful. The food was incredible! The décor exceeded my vision tenfold. Karen & Alisha were absolute delights to work with. I looked forward to meeting with them to review party plans. It felt like I was meeting with two girlfriends on a Friday night after work for Happy Hour! I can't wait to use Karen Bevels Catering again! My company is excited to add a new caterer to the team. It was a great feeling after the party when everyone raved about the party staff & delicious food.

I just got married this past weekend and to say there were a few hiccups in the planning process is an understatement. However, the rock solid base we knew we had was all because of Karen Bevel's catering staff and service. Any strange requests, or problems that needed solving, Anthony Mann and his staff were there to help before and during the wedding. We needed a day-of coordinator and they made it happen. We needed a tent due to rain and they were able to help. We needed different foods for different people and they said no problem. My wife and I had the perfect wedding, and it was perfect because of this caterer. We have four thumbs up for them and we highly recommend them to any couple, company or party that wants good service and great food.Thank you Anthony and Karen Bevels!

No "6-star" review possible? Too bad! This is the finest caterer I have ever had the privilege of knowing, being served by, or retaining to provide their services at my home. When having an event, the quality of the food is critical, but equally important is the style and character of the service people and their management of the event. During my three events with Karen Bevels Catering, not once did I have to draw attention to any shortcomings of the service - they were on constant lookout for whatever my friends and family needed and wanted. Excellent food, exquisite service, all done with a sunny positive attitude. THE BEST!!

We are so happy we chose Karen Bevels as our wedding caterer! Will was an excellent communicator and absolute professional, patiently guiding us through the planning process. From the initial tasting through to our wedding day, Will always put us at ease and we knew everything would turn out perfectly.Will helped us cater a Korean-style dinner menu with dishes like Galbi (Korean short ribs), Japchae (glass noodles) along with options like miso black cod and string beans. Our appetizers included a delicious bite-sized grilled cheese and tomato, sliders, and crab cakes. We were absolutely delighted by all of the food, and even had several guests come up and say this was one of the most delicious wedding dinners they've ever had.Will also took care of setup/teardown for all of the event rentals, like ceremony chairs, linens, cocktail tables, bartending, lighting (we provided the bistro lights), and all the little things inbetween, which helped simplify our planning a ton.Finally, Will was an absolute lifesaver, bringing beautiful parasols to our wedding (without extra charge) to make sure all of our guests could stay out of the hot September sun.We would highly recommend you choose Will and his team at Karen Bevels if you are looking for professionals who offer great food and fantastic service!(photos courtesy of Kris Holland from https://www.krishollandphotography.com/)

If I could give more than a 5 star rating I would! I could RAVE on and on about Will Mankin & the Karen Bevels team, but I will try and highlight the most important things.My husband and I booked KB to do the catering for our wedding in fall of 2019. At that time, Will Mankin who was our point of contact for KB, offered his services as a day of coordinator and we had decided to take him up on that. Fast forward a few months to the beginning of COVID. Will was incredibly understanding and accommodating when we had to move our wedding not once but three times. I know this wasn't an easy time for them either, but they never made it seem that way. About 4 months prior to our actual wedding date, Will and I spoke very regularly and met in person multiple times. He managed not only the food but all the flatware rentals, bar rentals, etc. His depth of knowledge in this space made it very easy for me, he knew all the questions to ask and all the details that would need to be ironed out. The day of our wedding ran smoothly because of Will and his team. He had picked up all of our wedding decor earlier in the week and his team set-up everything, and more importantly they were incredibly self sufficient! The entire team was very personable, we had multiple people come up to us during the night to say how great they were. They managed the timeline magnificently, all the clean up, and so many small details in between. They made it possible for my husband and I to focus on our day and not worry about any of the logistics. Now, the food. How often do you leave a wedding and say 'that food was really good?' Ours was that wedding! And it wasn't just one item that stood out, it was everything. We were told later that people were darting around the cocktail hour look for more trays of the lobster mac & cheese because it was that tasty! The main reason that we picked KB was because our tasting with them was so fantastic, and they had so many options of dishes to choose from. It can be hard to scale food, but they know how to do it. The last part of my review is for Will as our day of coordinator, (DOC). If you are reading this review you are probably planning an event and you know that it isn't easy. The money we spent on catering & DOC was the best money we spent for our wedding. Will has a calm demeanor which was very helpful to me, since I am a bit more high strung. He listened to our vision and helped make our plans happen! He was thoughtful, detail oriented, and really took pride in making sure that we and our guests had an amazing day. The week prior, we ended up splitting the cost of a tent rental for the weekend as unexpected rain was predicted. Unfortunately, the venue point of contact was trying to juggle this rental between the Sunday wedding and our Saturday wedding, and she didn't do a great job. The day before our wedding we arrived at the venue to do our rehearsal. The tent had been constructed in a different place than communicated and there was now a pole in the middle of where we were to stand for our ceremony. I was pretty unhappy and the venue contact provided no solutions and just started making excuses of why it had to be that way. Will and I were able to problem solve and figure out a new location for the ceremony, and my husband and bridal party actually preferred it. I was still a bit upset since I had spent time and money purchasing decor for the arch we were to stand under that now we couldn't use. Will had a gold circle sculpture in their warehouse that he could bring to use, he pulled up a photo of it and it was perfect! That is what you need in a DOC. Someone who will be calm when things don't go to plan, and are able to come up with an alternate solution. We truly can't thank this team enough for all they did. I honestly hope this review shows what great hands you can be in with KB & team!
