Joe's Corner is located in the historic little town of Niles. Overall, such a cute area with antique shops, a couple of coffee shops and eats. Parking is a breeze unless there's an event going on!This is definitely a small business/food spot with a decent variety of sandwiches/paninis and beer/wine as well. The people here are always attentive and super sweet! I've never had a bad experience here as far as service goes.I will say the only thing is that the prices are a tad steep for what you're getting. A glass of wine and beer along with two paninis was about $60. I don't mind it from time to time but that's the only negative thing I'd have to mention. I see some others feel the same way..

I had a disappointing experience at Joe's Corner and feel compelled to share so others know what to expect. We waited nearly an hour for a sandwich, fish and chips, and nuggets. To make matters worse, the coffee we ordered never arrived. The owner did apologize, but that doesn't excuse how poorly the business is run. This is not a place I'd recommend for families, large parties, or even just a quick bite. When I asked for a refund because we simply couldn't wait any longer, I mentioned that I would write an honest review--and was accused of blackmail. For the record, I would have shared my experience regardless, as I believe others deserve to know. It's really sad to see this kind of service in my hometown with such a charming downtown area. Hopefully, improvements will be made, but for now, I can't recommend Joe's Corner.

ehhh lolpretzels had WAYYYY too much salt - also they turned hard pretty fast chicken nuggets were interesting lol pretty soft on the inside & I couldn't tell what the breading was made of - after my first bite I literally inspected the nugget tm make sure it was even cooked ; menu also only listed one price for 6pc or 12pc but was verbally told that the 6pc is ten bucks & 12pc is like 14 bucks lol - honestly would rather have had 20pc nuggets from mcds for five buckspastrami sandwich was very standard, prob could've made a better one at home lol the artwork murals were a lil weird but maybe cus this place has history ? I'm not from here so idk lol

Joe's Corner is a cool place. It is an older place that serves new food. It tries to harken back to The food is basic bar food but it is good. There is not much service as you order at the bar and the person brings it to you. That is it. There is only one person doing both jobs so it might take a while. I always go when it is not busy (I look inside to see if there are a lot of people in there.), so I have never had a problem with service. It is a place that enjoy when I visit Niles

This spot was delicious! The owner was incredibly friendly and shared some interesting history about Niles when we arrived. I had the tuna melt, and my partner tried the spicy sandwich - both were excellent choices. The place had a charming atmosphere, though we regretted not ordering a beer to complete the experience.

We had another craving for the giant Fish and Chip platters, and we hopefully brought a appetite to match it. As always we got great service and our dog, Jack got a dog biscuit and clean water bowl with fresh water to enjoy. We opted for eating outside and it was a nice day. I did manage the whole platter as I planned on not eating much prior to coming here. ;)

Such a horrible experience yet again. We keep trying bc it is in Niles but they just don't have good customer service nor is the food good. They were pretty rude about giving a refund after 45 minutes of waiting for bar food. My friend literally got up and walked away and didn't care that they spent the money bc that was how bad it was

Went to Joe's today, 9/21. Figured it would be fun to take the kids to Niles, especially with the 680 road construction in San Ramon keeping us from a lunch in DanvilleFirst off, Niles is a cool spot. Great farmers market, cool little shops, antique stores, etc. Beautifully rolling hills, and a nice drive on HW84 from PleasantonUnfortunately our experience at Joe's wasn't the best. $81 bucks, before tip, for an individual flat bread pizza, a turkey pesto panini, kids chicken tenders, a soft pretzel, one drakes 1500 pale ale, and 2x kids sodas. Definitely cheaper to go to DanvilleSadly the food quality further disappointed. Kids chicken tenders were literally from a bag (think Safeway chicken nugget amalgam) that were baked and soggy. They were supposed to come with apple sauce, but none was provided. Pretzel was clearly a frozen pretzel that was microwaved along with some canned cheese sauce. My wife managed to eat half of her turkey pesto sandwich (no side provided) and I ate half of my bbq chicken flat bread. As a previous reviewer noted, it seems like they cook little to anything at the restaurant, relying on microwaves and precooked food (a la the chicken on my flatbread). For $81 dollars, pre tip, definitely not coming back.
