Turned the dirty 30 recently with a 25 person b-day bash at my fiancé and my new house. Fi wanted to have my party somewhere else to reduce on clean-up, set up, stress, and sweat. But I wanted a BBQ at home. Going out would have cost well over my $500 budget when I remembered Jazzy's Kitchen! Novella Review:Jasmyne and her staff showed up promptly before the start of the event with everything they needed to do an amazing 30th B-day BBQ. Right off the bat I knew this was going to go wonderfully. Jazzy's Kitchen is warm and friendly and I immediately felt reassured that this catering thing was the right move for my big birthday. They brought in a professional large BBQ, all the tools they needed, buffet trays to keep food warm, and very cute picnic themed decor to spiff up the table. I wanted them to BBQ fresh at the event, but they also could arrive with everything pre-made. I had plates, utensils, etc. But these things were offered as part of the catering if you desire.BBQ Chicken, Marinated Tri Tip, Lemony Salmon, Mexican Grilled Corn, Green Salad, and Baked Beans all rolled out and got devoured by my guests (and myself).Once they were done cooking and serving, Jasmyne and crew helped serve drinks and keep things tidy. They even helped cut and pass out my B-day cake I had bought. Speaking of full service, Jazzy's Kitchen will stay at your house to help clean up everything! They packed up extra food and stored it for me (they brought their own storage containers). They cleaned my counter and table. They even washed my wine glasses that people used. It's like a 6 hour party never even happened! I was really impressed with not only the amazing food but the care and service that was provided by Jazzy's Kitchen. Love and personal touch were part of every aspect of my catering experience. From the thought put into working out a menu within budget to treating my home as if it was their own, I thought that the catering was simply spectacular. My guests were so impressed, one of my friends has already hired Jazzy's Kitchen to cater her baby shower! I've been ordering weekly prepared meals from Jazzy and it's delicious!!!! Jazzy was a lifesaver for me after sugary when I had major food restrictions. She's super professional and has the biggest heart of anyone I know. I would absolutely refer her to any and everyone I know!!

I wanted to have a small, catered brunch with a specific menu for my former supervisor who had just recently left my organization. I called upon a caterer I had used before; they didn't cater events with under 25 people. Another caterer sent me a fantastic menu; only to cancel on me because she didn't check her books beforehand and couldn't come to Castro Valley on a Sunday morning. Another caterer wanted $3000 to cater a 16 person event! I was starting to get desperate so I went on Yelp and started calling all the caterers I found. Jasmyne called me back promptly and everything was "yes": "Yes" she could cater a small event; "yes" she was available on a Sunday; "yes" she could come to Castro Valley, "yes" she could prepare my specific menu, and "bonus!" she did not require a pound a flesh.She and her cook, Kat, arrived on time and set up everything beautifully. Jasmyne texted me to ask if my brunch had a theme color (it did- red) and she brought a red table cloth to decorate her table and red napkins; she also bought a beautiful floral arrangement. The set up was amazing and beautiful! The food...oh the food! To say it was amazing was an understatement. The french toast was well done, the eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned, the bacon was crispy and flavorful. There was fresh berry compote, whipped cream, maple syrup, butter, powdered sugar for the french toast and creme fresh for the eggs. Everyone agreed it was the best breakfast they had ever experienced.They even threw in a beautifully made fruit salad for free!I can't say enough about Jasmyne and Kat except that I loved them to death and they will be my caterer of choice for all my future catered events. I can't recommend her enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you Jasmyne and Kat!!

Jazzy's kitchen is just outright DELICIOUS! The food, taste, and quality was just superb. I used Jazzy's kitchen for my baby shower back in April of 2016. The display, timing, and quality of food was well beyond our expectations. Jazzy was courteous, professional, and punctual. She took care of the setup,clean up, and even supplied take home containers for our guest. I have a friend with a gluten allergy, and she offered to make a complete side dish for her, you cannot tell me that is going the extra mile! Half a year later, I have friends still talking about how yummy the food was from our baby shower. It was a lovely stress free event and I will definitely book with Jazzy's kitchen again!!

Through the recommendation of a friend, I hired Jazzy's Kitchen to cater my wedding. I had quite a few restrictions on my plate for the reception menu. My husband is a Meat and Potatoes kind of guy (veggies are the devil in his eyes) and he specifically said that he didn't want anything that he couldn't pronouce or too exotic (so good luck trying to plan a nice reception dinner with hot dogs and hamburgers). I also am quite the subborn, DIY, "I don't need any help" kinda gal so I'll admit when I first got the recommendation, I was hesitant but agreed to meet the owner Jasmyne. Best decision I ever made!!!! From the moment I met Jasmyne, it felt like I knew her my whole life. She wasn't pushy or too busy overselling her services and skills, the way so many other caters do. She listened to my limitations and came to the table with so many menu options that would suit our picky needs. She was intent on learning more about our tastes individually, to find ways of incorporating both of our styles, not only into the menu, but even in just a separate special dinner for us. If her calming demeanor and can-do attitude alone didn't sell me, when my mom and i showed up for a tasting of her delicious menu suggestions come to life, certainly did! Jasmyne made us feel like royalty, cycling out dish after dish, and then hearing about (and tasting) the elegant touches that she made to such simple dishes - we were blown away, hired her on the spot. Jazzy's Kitchen was in constant contact with me, offering suggestions and recommendations for menu ideas (which only got better). I loved that she was excited about being experimental and creative with the buffet and food set up (i.e. Fruit displayed as a beautiful palm tree made of pineapples and fresh fruit), and they even went the extra mile to provide buffet table decorations that mirrored my wedding colors and motiff. Jazzy's Kitchen didn't stop there. They were really my one-stop-shop for food and refreshments, including infused water pitchers, and I was even able to get service staff and bartenders through Jazzy's. Jazzy's crew was phenomenal!! The professionalism, appearance, attitude, everything was superb! Even the venue location that my wedding was held at commented that Jazzy's Kitchen was the best crew they ever had there. The crew totally went the extra mile; moving chairs from the wedding area over to the tables for the reception, worked closely with my wedding day timeline to make sure everything went off beautifully. And finally the most important part... THE FOOD... SENSATIONAL!! Everyone talked about how amazing it all was for MONTHS. People came back for thirds and fourths. It was more than what i could have prayed for. It's over a year later and I am still so grateful to Jazzy's Kitchen, and most importantly, Jasymne for not only making my day such a success, but for (without a doubt) making it so this stubborn, DIY fool that I am, could sit back, and feel so special and like a princess on my wedding day. And that to me was Priceless. My eternal thanks Jazzy's Kitchen.
