Just a local grab and go Chinese place. Well loved for it's great flavor and affordable pricing.Their House Chow Fun is a must! It's just so good. The thick chow fun noodles are all well seasoned and they got that "wok hei", wok infused char flavor. There's more chow fun than veggies and meat which I loooove. I'm all about them noods. A common theme among their dishes is their garlic sauce. Anything you see with it will be delicious. Personal favorites of mine are string beans with garlic sauce or crispy beef with garlic sauce. It's a bit sweet with lots of umami flavor. It's good with everything really...I would say their fried rice is good too but definitely not as good as their chow fun. What can I say? I love their chow fun, one of the best I've ever had. They also offer a Black Bean Chow Fun which is pretty good especially if you like the black bean flavor. I prefer the House Chow Fun over anything but the black bean is a close second. I would avoid their crab rangoons here personally because I think the cream cheese mixture could use a bit more green onions. I do love that they give you a good amount of sauce so you can do that deep dip. You can't go wrong here. It's a classic Chinese take out place with all the best things about it. Pro-tip: Call in your order. They offer online ordering too, but that will take longer.

Yeah I'm trying Jade China on Berryessa at the request of longtime follower Ian Jose. Honestly pretty good Chinese takeout, but I can't help but feel that it's overhyped by the locals. Evergreen Panda is better.Bbq Pork Fried rice: honestly pretty good, a little bland though. Maybe slightly worse than Golden Buddha and EV Panda.Mongolian beef: impressive spice level, but way too many onions. The beef also had a strange texture. It was spongy and didn't taste like beef.Sweet and Sour Pork: the shining star of this restaurant. Reminds me of the sweet and sour Pork in Japan's Yokohama chinatown. The meat is tasty and the sauce is not too sweet.Price is fine, around $14 for this combo plate. At EV panda it would be around $10. Portion is solid but nothing too crazy. The service is fantastic. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Venue is solid too, I like that they actually have tables for dine-in.

Another solid great experience at Jade China...absolutely love the easy online ordering option. Effortlessly efficient service...s&p fish fillets, s&p pork spareribs and stir fried green beans were ready for pickup in 15 minutes. Yummy Chinese food with streamline ordering process, can't ask for more than that...

I got the salt and pepper fish filet. Reasonable price and good portion for a family of 3-4 people! $15 is a steal in this economy. The fish filet didn't taste greasy. It was crispy and they did not cheap out on the flour to fish ratio. Salt seasoning was a bit heavy, but with rice of course it was good . Service was quick; ordered there and they said about 15 min, but actually finished in 10. Will update further on more entrees as I try

I want to update my review after 3 years lol. Not sure if they changed ownership since 2021 but I like the eggplant dish and string beans dishes! Also, I had food catered for my daughter's birthday party and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the salt and pepper spare ribs party tray. It was really breaded though. We also got combination chow mein, which you can't go wrong with. Beef and broccoli was good. Overall, we will go back again. The son who mans the front is nice and friendly.

It was very mediocre. We had the Szechuan chicken and Kung pao chicken. They tasted exactly the same and looked the same. We couldn't tell which one was which? The fried chicken wings were bland, no flavor and a lot of breading. But the worst item was the fried chow mein it had absolutely no flavor. It tasted like plain noodles and had no veggies. It was pretty expensive for what we got. Sucks because we were excited to try this place and won't be back.

Amazing spot for large parties, family style encouraged. Would recommend roughly 2 times per 3 people. We had just under a 1:1 ratio of items to people (less items than people) and had tons of leftovers. Great for a night in after everyone's exhausted. There's also a solid amount of indoor seating and ample parking because the restaurant is in a large plaza. Without going into the details of every item, maybe skip the chow mein and sweet & sour pork. Noodles were a bit underwhelming and the pork was rough. Opt for the chow fun, honey walnut shrimp, and salt & pepper fish. They're classics for a reason but also very flavorful and soft, easy to eat. Could go either way on the string beans and calamari.

We ordered a bunch of items to try for work lunch around noon time off their website. It probably took 20 mins. It was ready when we arrived. There were no utensils included in the to-go bag though. Remember to get utensils. The portion was huge! They really pack the to-go boxes full! So worth it! The best items were the chow fun, Mongolian beef, and fried prawns. The house chow mein and house fried rice were good too. All the proteins were tender and juicy. Seasoned perfectly. Not over salted. Cons: The sweet and sour pork was heavily breaded with a little chunk of meat. The eggrolls had like almost no pork but a bunch of cabbage so I wouldn't recommend it. I would call it a veggie eggroll lol. Chicken salad wasn't good either. The chicken was dry. Chinese food is oily. So that's expected. But the chow fun was really oily.

An okay place to order from when you need a last minute party tray.I place an order for a small tray of the house fried rice (came with shrimp, char siu, and chicken as protein) the day before my work potluck. It was about $37.XX after taxes when ordering online. You get a confirmation email after too.I picked it up the day of, and it came out fresh and hot. However, when I ate the fried rice it really lacked flavor. I don't think you can mess up fried rice but it is not a hit.... I should have ordered an appetizer but felt like we didn't have enough entrees for the potluck.I would advise to not order the fried rice here. Coworker got the small tray of chicken salad and that one is good. Just gotta pick the right dish. This was on Valentine's Day and they were pretty busy. Clean looking restaurant inside, but mainly takeout. They were handling phone orders as well. Great prices.... but the quality is ok.
