Was looking for lunch after a shopping session near San Carlos, and Isarn was an amazing find. This place will rank very high of all the Thai restaurants in the peninsula. The restaurant will hold a fair amount of people and the space was pretty cozy, aided with all kinds of Thai and holiday motifs. Big bonus for having their own parking lot.The menu was very extensive, and I appreciated the availability of the lunch specials. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew captured the right flavors, the dumpling in curry sauce and fried tofu were hits with the children, and the basil beef rice plate was fantastic. The Praram Chicken could have benefited from more flavors. The special papaya salad dish was surprising with all the extra meats, but be forwarded that their spice levels are right at par on what you would expect in the Thai culture. A level 2 spice is far more than a tickle. There were two servers for a weekday lunch, but they were very attentive to all the patrons. This was a great experience and worth another drive back to get more.

Our faves- kor moo yang: can't be found everywhere, and one of my favorite things. Especially the hot sauce. - pad see ew: amazing noodles and generous with the protein - green curry: good, standard

I can only speak to the food quality delivered since I ordered on DoorDash, but I thought it was really delicious! We ordered the pad see ew with shrimp, the fried fish, the crab fried rice, and the roti with green curry. Our favorite was the pad see ew! We thought that the roti wasn't worth the $12 price tag though. Would definitely order again!

We always eat at Noelanis around the corner from this restaurant . We wanted to try something different and found this on Yelp. The environment and staff was welcoming and seated us quickly. As we got our dinner, more people started to fill up the seats while more people were waiting to get seated. Looks like this place gets a lot of customers. We sat on the bench seats with cushion which was comfortable. The food was good but a little too much salt on the pad see ew, fried fish, and curry with roti. The crab fried rice was good but we weren't used to mushy rice. We compared each dish to our usual spot Charm Thai Eatery. Each restaurant has their unique taste but personally I like Charm Thai Eatery better - much less salty food. The longan drink was not what I expected. It was my first time trying it. It was really sweet. I'd rather drink a lychee drink. Better taste. Staff was attentive to each table and kind. Wish there was more parking. Ended up parking near Noelanis. Too much salt is enough to rate it 3 stars. If we come back and the food is less salty, I'd bump it to 4 stars.

The food here is average, so the main reason for the low rating is for the service. We came here for a big family celebratory dinner on a summer night. Since we had a doggo with us, we had outdoor seating, but the heat lamps were broken! That chilly peninsula wind penetrated straight to my bones and left my teeth chattering through the whole meal. A few dishes I tried were the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Fried Chicken over Fried Rice, and Thai Papaya Salad. The dishes came out at extremely odd spaced out times -- we were served the first dish 15 minutes before the rest. The last dish didn't come out until 40 minutes later, despite asking them about it multiple times. What a disaster! The food itself is alright -- the Pad Thai is nothing to write home about, and the Pad Kee Mao has no wok hei flavor or spiciness. I did like the Fried Chicken over Fried Rice -- that chicken panko batter is fried to a crispy golden-brown perfection and the fried rice is well-seasoned. The Thai Papaya Salad was also a banger -- it's bursting with crispy lettuce and papaya drenched in a spicy and refreshing vinaigrette. Overall, food is okay but the service and dining experience were negatives for us.

This Thai restaurant is tucked away in an industrial area, off the usual dining path. While the location might be unconventional, the food makes it worth seeking out. The Pad See Ew was particularly delicious, with perfectly cooked noodles and a flavorful sauce.Service was a bit mixed - there was a noticeable wait to get our order taken, but once we ordered, the food arrived quickly. The atmosphere can get quite lively and loud, which might not be ideal for intimate conversation.Despite its out-of-the-way location and service hiccups, the quality of the food makes this place a hidden gem worth discovering.

I felt that the green curry didn't have a lot of flavor, and was quite bland. I felt that about the crab puff as well that had more puff than filling. In fact, I couldn't taste the crab at all.The rice was dry, service was meh, but they had a lot of parking. I'm not digging the dry white meat which I kept picking out either. My coworkers noodles were another meh dish. With so many other thai restaurants around the Bay Area this one wasn't one I'd revisit.

Enjoyed a casual Thai lunch with others in this neighborhood restaurant. Nice to have a dedicated parking lot. Don't let the quiet and unassuming outside fool you. Once we opened the doors was surprised to see almost every table taken or reserved for a soon to arrive larger party.Food was tasty. Prices more than reasonable. Looking forward to return and repeat!

I quickly put in my order, but it took about 20 minutes to get my pad Thai. But, I'm glad I waited. It was super yummy and had a strong tamarind flavor. It's clear that this is the spot for families and young people alike!

Update: did a takeaway and the food was much improved from the 1st time. The fresh spring rolls were/shrimp were amazing with a good amount of peanut sauce. The pad Thai was also really good/small portion. The stand out was the spicy green beans--beware a level 3 out of 5 is HOT and I can handle spicy!
