The lomo saltado is flavorful and well portioned. We also ordered the plantains which were sweet and delicious. The staff are quick and friendly. We've been back here multiple times. Definitely go give them a try

My love for Peruvian food brought me here, and in turn I took along my foodie crew. I'm always on the hunt for good Peruvian food. So I had to check out Inka's based on the stellar ratings and rave reviews. We found Inka's to be OK. 3.5 *** but unable to give half ratings.... Common theme is the skimpy portions compared to other Peruvian spots we've been to. #PeruvianEats:~ ANTICUCHOS - 4/5This was good. The rest of the table was a bit hesitant on ordering organ meat. The texture wasn't all that different. Good job! Everyone ended u eating it. ~ TRADITO - 3.5/5A decent Tradito dish. I had better elsewhere. Only one type of fish and a bit skimpy on the portions.~ TRIO CEVICHE - 3.5/5Tasty little variety. Good flavor. Once again...those skimpy portions for $30! ~ Aji de Gallina - 3/5Not the best Aji de Gallina I had...in fact it kinda ranks towards the bottom. The taste was fine, but they definitely skimped on the chicken. Other places I've been to were far more generous with the portions of chicken. ~ TALLARIN SALTADO DE CARNE - 2/5This was strange. Looked like something you get at an Asian restaurant. Nothing more than a noodle dish with beef. It was OK, but we agreed this was the worst dish of the evening at $30. Pass on getting this again.~ SECO DE CORDERO - 4/5The Lamb shank was cooked to perfection; tender, moist and juicy. The meat fell off the bone, and the Cilantro sauce we brilliant. The biggest disappointment was the portion. On the smaller side for a $30 dish that is not at a fine dinning restaurant. ~ LUCUMA ICE CREAM - 4/5To this day I'm still not sure what this was. Ice cream made from a Peruvian fruit. I wasn't familiar with this fruit. I had to look it up. part of the Sapotaceae family, I still don't know much about it. The flavor was different, unique, unfamiliar and tasty at the same time. Overall the food was good, but none of us were a fan of the skimpy portions. hence the 3.5 ****

Pregnant and craving a ceviche and I knew this was the place to go to get a delicious tasty one! the taste, flavor and consistency on their dishes is always good! Tiradito is a must try !!! These our favorite 3 plates ! Always top quality and taste ! Also tacu tacu con mariscos is my daughter and hubby favorite, always tastes delicious! Their favorite plate and the only Peruvian restaurant that makes it top quality and taste! We had a few laughs with our waiter because of mother in law and the tortilla chips

The food was amazing! We got everything our amazing waiter recommended: the paella, ceviche, and the fettuccine with steak. Everything tasted wonderful, my absolute favorite was the paella. I can't wait to visit again. And shout out to our waiter, he was the best!

I love an unsuspecting location at a strip mall with food that blows you away. The ambience was clean and simple. The service was excellent. There was only one serve but he checked on us often and it was busy in there. We got the Causaki. It's a delicious and refreshing potatoes salad deconstructed into little bit size sushi looking pieces. Then we had their checked fried rice. It was really interesting and delicious. Having never had Peruvian food before I was really enchanted with their spices and flavors. We also got a special they had. A lamb shank. The meet was falling off the bone. The sauce was zesty and fresh. I would get all the dishes again and look forward to going back here.

4.5 stars! Peruvian food is in the top 5 cuisines for both my husband and I so we were stoked to try Inka's. We dined in on a Friday lunch and had a great, laidback meal! Our go to dish at any Peruvian restaurant is pescado a lo macho. There's a delicious resultant in El Cerrito that does this dish so well that we've had trouble finding another places that's up to par in the Bay Area. Happy to say that at Inka's pescado a lo macho is delicious! They give a generous amount of sauce, it's super flavorful, and the cook on all of the seafood is perfect. Love how thick the sauce is too. Some restaurants make it runny and I'm not a fan. We ordered a sampler too and got to try ceviche, arroz con mariscos, and chicharron pescado. The ceviche was great. Fresh fish, light and refreshing flavors. I do wish the sampler included at least a little bit of corn nuts and sweet potato (the normal portion does come with it). Those are my favorite parts of Peruvian ceviche and what makes Peruvian ceviche stand out from other ceviches. The arroz con mariscos was yummy! So much flavor! The chicharron pescado was fried well but overly salty. Service was good! There was maybe only one other table dining in when we first arrived but by the time we left it was almost full house.

This place. This place is just really good! I've always door dashed it, but finally went in with friends!I went with friends on a Friday night and we all ordered a lot of different things and everything was delicious. The restaurant is in a little shopping center and has easy parking all around. It's really nice on the inside, though a bit on the smaller side, however the service is great because of the size. We ordered the grilled octopus, anticuchos (sliced beef heart), and the ceviche trio and it was all delicious. The ceviche mixto and the anticuchos were especially delicious. Sooooo good. But the grilled octopus was also super tasty. Food wise, 3 people got the lomo saltado, two people got the bistec a la pobre and someone got the shrimp soup. The lomo was REALLY good, super tender meat and tasty rice. The bistec was very, very tasty and a good chunk of steak. The shrimp soup was also very good and tasted a little bit like red pozole. Drinks wise, we ordered a liter of chica morada and of course it was super tasty. Definitely one of the better Bay Area meals I've had.

My friend and I ordered the seafood paella and the ice cream to share, and both dishes were truly standouts. The paella was so creamy and delicious, and was a generous enough portion for the two of us to share without feeling hungry after. The seafood was also tasty and well cooked and complemented the flavors of the paella well. The paella came with a spicy green sauce that we loved too!The ice cream was also super unique and had a caramel-like coffee-like flavor that I've never had before - would definitely recommend trying this as well!
