Dosa batter, paneer and the eggs expire way before than the mentioned dates. Fresh chicken & goat used to be good here but not anymore

Indian Market is literally hiding in plain sight. to wit: the entrance is in the rear of the building that has Sidhu Liquor in front. turn into Sidhu's parking lot when u see a tall brown building cuz the next parking lot isn't accessible to Indian market. inside is a small grocery store with narrow aisles and the usual amenities: meat department, produce, condiments, frozen items, spices, etc. albeit in a small space with no pricing posted.3 check out cashiers in front. a Mr. Biryani take out food stand on weekends at entrance. menu is accessible via QR code.buy: Mirch Masala-Channa Dal (2.99) 12 oz.-split chickpeas fried with expeller pressed canola oil, flavored with tumeric.-spicy food burns calories i hear. -doesn't have the bad calories as usual "food"...leftovers:-the overall experience was confusing re the entrance in rear, no pricing on items, the cashier not having change for a $20, cramp space-difficult to socially distance3.5 stars results good but the journey was stressful due to uncertainties. would repeat. too many unknowns to classify as an hidden treasure...

Indian market is one such affordable place..You can get fish, chicken, country chicken, goat and lamb.

If you want organic country chicken clean and cut, they got it. The buthery is in the back and have other meats as well. A variety of indian soices and goods. The snacks were awesome.

Time to update the review. They have changed a lot of things about this store. Congestion is still an issue, but they have rearranged the racks and tried to make enough room for the customers. No longer could see expired food items. Almost all South Indian brands are available. Vegetables and grocery price is less compared to other stores around.The meat store is a good place to get good quality Indian style meat. Price is reasonable as well. Expect long line for meat during weekends. Customer service is good. They are always willing to help even if there's a long line for checkout. They always open up more billing counters when there's a long line for checkout. Deserve an updated review.

Food taste is very good. so good I love it here I love to come to Fremont just for the chicken 65 and mango lassi. Lady js very nice she is so cool. It's such a nice place in here. The ambiance is so nice.

Very good chicken 65. I think it's some of the finest 65 chicken i've gotten any where in the bay. I come here just for the food. So very nice. 10/10, must try again.

Their meat is spoiled and has an unpleasant odor in the Indian market. I understand that the meat factory located at Mowry Ave. operates well and has taken business from the Indian market, but that does not justify selling spoiled meat. Please exercise caution when purchasing meat from this store

I have done the shopping on 12/3/2023 wherein i have taken 4 items actually and paid the amount of $17.54 against bill #533619. But whenbreached home surprised to see that i am billed for one extra item_ Mantra org cirn flour of $1.99, which was actually not issued ir taken by me. Tried yo inform the same over phone on number- 510 791 6033. but getting a message as it is full. Could not find anothrr number to raise the complaint. Can you pkease help in getting the refund?

I usually don't write reviews but this place made me to write one since this is repeating. Attached few pictures of worm in the Goat Meat bought at this place today. I worry less if the quality of other products are not good but there is no excuse for the food.Few months back, I saw lot of Maggi noodles discounted for 1$ in a basket which are expired. Informed the store manager but no action was taken. I saw the same noodles in the same place after couple of weeks.I wanted people to be aware about the quality of meat here, this place is closer to my house but I will choose some other grocery store. I don't want my family to eat these expired foods.
