They have a lazy staff. They dont bag your items when you give them your bag and they don't put your stuff in the bag. And keep standing after billing and payment is done. I'd rather go to a store who provides better service!Cooked food from there is a hit or miss. I tried their vada pao, and the vada inside tasted stale and hard.

India Metro Hypermarket opened in the vacant space next to Bevmo. Extra large store with the usual departments found in India markets. Aisles long, wide, signs note contents in aisles. Every items has up to 5 choices, mostly priced. Pick all that's needed. 3 cashier stations at check out. Wasn't jammed. Quick check out. Large parking lot. Buys: "Tea India" masala chai 80/6.99-black tea with real ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, clove, cardamom. No artificial flavors/spices.-pretty strong. Milk can be added. As is fine with me. All in one mix (3.49) 14 oz-chickpeas, various nuts, raisins, fried flours of beans...-Daily value: 17% fat, sodium 11%, sugar 1%, protein 7 gm. Fibre 14%. Slightly spicy. Fat level high.Spicy punjabi mix (2.99) 10 oz-not tongue tingling as posted. flours, rice, nuts, spices.-DV: 30% fat, sodium 13%, fibre 12%, protein 7 gm,High fat, highest calorie countMasala moong dal: split mung bean (2.09) 7oz-fried mung bean with spices...slightly spicy-DV: fat 8%, sodium 10%, fibre 14%, protein 8gm Healthiest with lowest fat, sodium4 stars: wide aisles, priced items, labeled aisles. Pricing on some items higher here...

The good is they have a lot of items. Prices are decent. The Bad.. the stocking staffs are very rude. If you don't want to interfere with customers then try stocking before opening. The isle doesn't say what is in there. Maybe better signs to help customers find what they are looking for.

This review is for their ready made food to go specifically the Dhai Vada. Grocery store is fine. I have probably ordered the Dhai(yogurt) Vada probably over 12 times. In the beginning, they were great and the best part was the thick greek yogurt. In the last month or so, things have changed. It is a hit or miss. More than 3 times now, I get watery, bland Dhai Vada. They water down the yogurt and it tastes terrible. Today was the worst and I had to write about this. I will not buy it anymore. I ordered the Khaman dhokla and the khandvi and they were terrible- dry and bland. Also the dhokla are made from flour not lentils. I also did not like their rotis- too dry and flavorless for my taste. The methi theplas were terrible- once again no flavor and they were so dry. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but I can't do it anymore. I am really upset today for the watered down, horrible Dhai vada.

Nothing hyper about this market. This review is from a very disappointed shopper. I did notice the tendency of Indian grocery store to push certain brand down your throat. In case of Indian metro hyper market, Chennai express Idli and Dosa batter. They fill the shelves with this brand. I took home a container and it was full fungus. I am not kidding. Stay away from this brand and hopefully the store will look into it

Went to check out this new market. They place was full on a Saturday morning. This Market has everything India most of the stuff I didn't know about??. All I was interested In finding was my rice for diabetic witch is sold in markets like this. My usual placeIs a small store in Fremont. I was in luck they do have it. So I don't have to travel to Fremont. I give it 4 stars since parking can be a challenge. They share the plaza with A 24hr fitness center and beve mo. I really like this store and will be back to try Their snacks.

This place is clean. In terms of food expiration they have few about to expire very soon. Much better quality compared to the other stores. Huge variety and unusual selection. Worth paying more money here. So far I have not gotten sick from the groceries here unlike other stores.

Me and my husband went to the hyper market today and did lot of groceries shopping. Though it's neatly organized they are selling expired items. We unknowingly picked We realized that at the checkout counter. When we questioned the guy at the counter he is arguing and not accepting that fact .I would request everyone to check the expiry dates before buying
