In San Jose for work and went to the San Pedro market with a friend. Happened to enter where ID Cafe is located and was immediately greeted by some of the best smells ever. We walked around to see what else was available and ultimately decided to go back to ID for the dosa because of the scent! Did not disappoint. I ordered the palak paneer dosa and my friend ordered the tikka paneer dosa. The portions are enormous and well priced. Flavors were great. The Samar was really tasty. Each dish was also served with three chutneys. I'm a sucker for dip, so I was excited to have so many options. The tomato and coconut were excellent. I didn't care for the peanut chutney. The tomato chutney was very flavorful with a little bit of heat (I like really hot so this was more mild for me). Would definitely go again!

I could never resist a crunchy, buttery, and light dosa! ID Cafe is tucked towards the parking lot entrance, and very easy to miss. For $14, you can get a Hyderabad Bandi dosa that comes with some delicious dips: Sambar (lentils, tamarind, sambar spice), coconut, peanut, and tomato chutney. Ordering was fairly easy, they had a kiosk and my food was ready in 5 minutes. The dosa was probably ~8-10 inches and relatively filling. It had a mild spice and upma (semolina porridge with veggies), onions, tomatoes, and coriander. Each of the chutneys were slightly creamy and plentiful. I particularly loved the tomato and sambar, the more savory sauces adequately complimented the dosas.

Delicious dosa and they offer a wide variety of dosas from palak to Kara to authentic mysore masala dosa. Service is quick and good. Loud ambiance and less seating as this is located in San Pedro square market.

This is an OK South Indian Spot in San Pedro Square. They have many interesting varieties of dosas, which I was eager to try. I asked for a mild paneer malai dosa. It was decent but NOT mild. I had to spend a lot of time picking out the chilies. It was clear that they ignored the request. The staff were nice guys but bored and disinterested.

Ordered the Karaikudi Goat Keema signature dosa: the dosa was thin and crispy, and the soup that came with it was delicious. The goat was ground, and had a really good flavor. The service was fast, and the ambiance was walk up and take out.

We had such a whole lunch here! The dosas we had, mysore masala, jini dosa and Vijaywada chicken dosa, all were amazing! Idli sambar were good too. The spice levels were not that high but it was a good amount. The chutneys are super too!! Service was good too. Our order arrived quickly and the food was hot and yummy. We had a great time.

So delicious! I'm not a dosa expert, but I loved the dosa, filling, chutneys - everything was so flavorful! I also appreciated being able to substitute the peanut chutney, I'm allergic to nuts and never sure whether my comments will be read or not. Friendly people behind the counter, and so easy to get takeout! A welcome addition to San Pedro Square Market.

Fast and efficient service. They are in the soft launch phase so drinks will be available soon. It's located inside a food mall type situation so do not expect an individual restaurant like the other branches. The food itself was the same great quality! Everything was fresh and well spiced. The mutton keema dosa was our fav but do note that it is spicy. Would recommend that you do one masala dosa and one keema for the best of both worlds.

This is a newly opened dosa place in San Pedro Square. Their menu looks enticing and we decided to visit them. They are in the soft launch phase so only had dosas. We tried five dosas - Tikka paneer, malai paneer, jini dosa, pao bhaji and masala dosa. All of them were tasty. Jini dosa was spicy for us and we liked tikka paneer the most! The kids loved malai paneer. The staff is sweet and overall the place is a must try :)

New South Indian place in San Pedro square opposite anchors. Tried the plain dosa and loved it! It comes with 4 dips: coconut, tomato, peanut and sambar lentils. All are delicious and I loved the coconut and peanut the most. The portion is generous. They serve the dosa on a parchment paper which absorbs all the oil, making it just perfect. The ordering process is similar to other spots in San Pedro. You order on the tablet at the front and get a buzzer. They have nice explanations of what a dosa is as part of their decoration. Overall, fantastic spot and great addition to San Pedro. Can't wait to come back and try all the other items. They have some very interesting things on the menu like a chicken dosa!
