I always like coming here. We were seated and waited for over 10-15 minutes before anyone came over to assist us.However, once they came over everything moved fast.Our order was taken and the food came out in no time. Wow.Everything was really good, except the chicken. It looked weird, but tasted okay.I'll still come back because I like it here. It's peaceful.Thank you

This review is based years of dining in experiences at Hunan Yuan. We first found this place randomly after stopping at the Safeway in the same plaza and decided to try it out, despite the mediocre rating. It is a solid consistent spot for Chinese. Everything is always good and fresh. We prefer takeout versus dining in; no matter what we order it's always ready in 15 min. They will make whatever you ask for (moo shoo tofu, bok choy with garlic, etc). They are always pleasant on the phone. Thank you HY!

This is our go to Chinese restaurant during lunch for the lunch soIs is very clean up front and in the kitchen. The team is wonderful at making modifications (low salt) and locally owned. Our favorites are the chicken and string beans, honey walnut shrimp, and chicken fried rice!

I love the food here and I use to order for delivery in the evening. When I went on DoorDash and Grubhub they won't deliver after 3pm. I tried calling to let them know but she said that I have to try ordering again. I tried but it still only will accept orders for the next day. I tried at 3:20pm on Friday, 2/28/25.
