Last night, we had dinner at Hub61 for the third time. Our first visit was with a group of friends, but since it was a large gathering, we couldn't fully enjoy the meal. The food was incredibly tasty, and everyone ate well, but we were still left wanting more, so we decided to go back. This time, we ordered Mughlai chicken biryani, sweet corn soup, chilli gobi, and chicken fried rice. Everything was top-notch, especially the Mughlai biryani, which was rich and delicious--a must-try! I should also mention that I once did a takeout from there, and the portion sizes were much larger compared to dining in.

Ordered takeout. We enjoyed their biryani bucket deal. We had chicken biryani. It comes with appetizer of chef's choice. Ours came with Manchurian corn. Manchurian corn was good. We also ordered chicken kebabs. We liked that also.

Went in because I was in Milpitas for some work and it was lunch time. Pleasantly surprised to see they had buffet as I was craving a bunch of items: biriyani, Manchurian, butter chicken.. thankfully it was a big spread of both non veg and vegetarian selection including all the things I was craving for! There were 4 varieties of biriyani and 4 different kinds of chicken and goat curry. Also was included fried chicken which was less spicy for the kids ( my younger one could only eat this). The dessert had gulabjamun, mango pudding, payasam, rasamalai and fruits! I returned really full as you can imagine. The food quality was good and the taste was also great(Andhra style food). Now only if they can make the inside a bit more polished ( high end) I will drive back to come here :). Not to say it's bad, it's just very casual. Overall good experience!

My review is only on my to-go experience and the Mughlai biryani, we have ordered paneer biryani to-go and it was pretty good, decent quantity and the food was fresh and very flavourful, the biryani did not have a lot of food colouring which is very unique and good to eat. Looking forward to visit for the buffet again

Selected this restaurant since it was open until 11 pm. We were the sole group, having the entire restaurant to ourselves. Started with masala papad, which was decent. For entrees, we ordered veg noodles, chicken mughalai biryani, goat roast pulao, and kadai veg. Veg noodles leaned towards Schezwan style. Kadai veg was okay. Chicken mughalai biryani was tasty but lacked enough plain biryani rice, too much masala. Goat roast pulao was acceptable; some pieces of goat could be softer. Overall, we had a good dinner with excellent service. The kids enjoyed the ambiance and music.

Recently dined at Hub61, and it was a mixed experience. The Masala Papad was a flavorful start, albeit on the pricey side. The Karampodi Kodi was a culinary delight, though I couldn't help but think it would be elevated with a side of mint chutney. The Fish 65, unfortunately, fell a bit short in terms of flavor, leaving it on the okayish side. The saving grace was the Mughlai Biryani for the main course, which was nothing short of fantastic. Each bite was a burst of rich, aromatic flavors that left a lasting impression. The service was commendable, with quick and attentive staff adding to the positive aspects of the dining experience. In summary, while there were some hits and misses, the overall experience at Hub61 was good. The Mughlai Biryani alone is reason enough to revisit, and I'm intrigued to explore other offerings on their menu in the future.

Feeling a bit bummed out and disappointed with the portion sizes. Also paneer tikka used to be yellow from the photos but is orange now and tastes different? It was also room temperature while the other dishes were hot. Overall feeling unhappy and unsure what to do, did I get someone else's leftovers? Ordered from the website so can't even provide feedback there :(

The weekend buffets have been great. The chicken pulao and chicken mughlai biriyani are unique and awesomeMore people deserve to know about this restaurant. Probably my second favorite Indian Buffett in Bay Area. I would prefer Hub 61 to Ulavacharu. Ulavacharu has more spread but Hub 61 rates higher in flavor for me.

Their lunch buffets are awesome, specially the Friday and weekend ones. They always keep good choices in protein and vegetarian options. The only problem they have is the deserts options are too sugary, seems like they have no interest in providing low sugar desert options.
