We are in town for a conference and randomly came across this restaurant. We were a party of 6 and all of us loved our food - fried noodles, noodle soup, cucumber salad. It was reasonably priced and the staff was so friendly. Another highlight was the Caddy the server who played a cute little tune.

Came on a rainy day, and got some delicious noodle soup! The beef sirloin bowl was great and the meat was well cooked. Noodles were great as well, and soup nice. My favorite dish was the cucumber salad, slightly spicy and lots of flavor. Will be coming back!

I got the Chongqing noodles and a Sapporo -- what a dream combination. The noodles were great texture, the broth was flavorful, and while I could have used more bok choy I did finish the entire large bowl. Paired with an ice cold beer, it was the perfect dinner. When the food is this good, you don't need frills. Very straightforward menu, staff was friendly, and I need to go back with friends to be able to order more dishes.

One of the worst (and slimiest) service experiences I've encountered around here. This was an indoor, sit down restaurant. But as soon as the lady took our order, she told us the total price and kept hovering at the table until my husband asked if we needed to pay then and there. She also said it was cash only when other reviews mentioned paying by card. The total was about $41, so we gave a $50 bill expecting her to come back with change. She never did, until we explicitly asked for it about 20 minutes later. But even then, she just kept all the coins and only gave us the bills back. With how slow each interaction was, we just didn't bother asking for the coins back anymore, but if they're going to pull something like that, they deserve zero tip. And finally, the food was extremely bland anyways. Absolutely not worth the whole experience.

Huangcheng was a solid noodle experience. The broth was good and they do check if you want peanuts on the noodles.Overall, really enjoyed the quick service and the food.

This little noodle shop in Swan's Market is a gem. Note that the entrance is on Washington and not in the central market area. Family owned shop that makes noodles fresh and the noodles are delicious! Immaculate texture! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. They also have one of those cool robots that helps deliver food. Jimmy was so friendly and personable, I'd honestly go back just to hang with him.

Flavorful chinese food with enough options for vegetarians to enjoy!! Compared to the size of their menu, veggie options are very few, but the ones that can be ordered are very tasty. Ma Po Tofu looked sweet but had perfect spice, Seasame noodles & veggie fried noodles were mild. Best were the street style noodles that they made vegetarian and it was delicious with peanuts. As you leave the host nicely says "See you tomorrow"!! If I had lived there I would go back for the food for sure.

Decided to give this place a try after walking by countless times. My only regret is that I hadn't tried it sooner. We were promptly seated by the staff. The interior is clean and has wooden benches and tables. The menu has a variety of options, but not an overwhelming amount. We asked the waitress what she recommended and she recommended D11, a spicy noodle soup. She advised it was the most popular dish. Immediately after we ordered she had us pay, the only payment options were cash or Venmo. Once the food was ready it was delivered by an armless Wall-E looking robot. The dish was absolutely delicious. It had layers of flavor and texture. I particularly liked the addition of the peanuts and Bok Choy to the dish. It had a nice amount of spice that was not overwhelmingly and it did not take away from the other flavors of the meal. My only critique of the dish is that there wasn't much meat in the dish. There was probably about a quarter to a third of a cup of the meat in there. We enjoyed it so much, we ended up going back a week later.

Yeah! Great little low key pulled noodle house in Swan's market. Sit down and pay first on picnic tables but indoors. The soups took about 20 min to come out because they were made to order. Really tasted fresh and decent prices. I will definitely come back for other items.
