House of Falafel

Used to eat here pre pandemic and it was nice to return after all of this time. One of us had the falafel wrap we always used to get and the other a falafel plate. That falafel plate was amazing. Five large crispy on the outside delectable insides, what a nice burst of flavor. Large amount of fresh salad with beets, pickles, onion. The hummus wasn't quite as flavorful as I remembered it being, but it was abundant. The meal also came with two pitas. There was probably enough food for two people, but we're big eaters. The falafel wrap, as always, was delicious and quite filling. I really like that they wrap it in lavash, as opposed to putting it in a pita. It's a nice touch as far as taste, texture, and not falling apart as you eat it. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. Happily, they have outdoor seating as we no longer eat inside restaurants. We were delighted, we were full, and we will be back.

I ordered the Chicken Shawerma plate. It had chicken, salad, hummus, rice, and pita with it. My food came out in about 15 minutes. It tasted good. The chicken was marinated well and was not too salty. The hummus went well with the pita. The rice complemented the chicken. Ask for the white sauce and red sauce but don't put too much red sauce because it gets salty as I found out. There was a lot of parking in the plaza on a Thursday evening around 7. It looks like a hole in the wall place. This is definitely a great place to meet up with friends, family, or even dates. There aren't many tables in there so make sure to come early before or after the dinner rush.

Not too much to say about this place. Came in around lunch on a Thursday. Wasn't too sure of what to get but saw some people eating a wonderful looking plateI opted in for the lamb shawarma plate that came with lamb, hummus, salad, rice and pita bread. The portion size was humongous and I think most of the time, I'd split this into two decent sized meals. however, I was starving and couldn't resist finishing it all. All this food for $18 is a pretty good deal.There's so much meat, so much hummus, enough pita bread for two and a bunch of salad that has a lemony citrus flavor that's amazing. Service was quick food came out in less than 5 minutes and I was very pleased Overall nice little spot for lunch feels like reviews should be higher

Food was okay. Pita bread appeared to be store-bought. Didn't taste fresh. Falafel might have been a bit over cooked. Service was good.

This place has been a staple ever since I was a kid. Same owner always works and makes you feel at home. I've tried most things here but my favorites are all of their wraps and the falafel plate! Will come back again soon!

First time ordering food here and everything was good. Ordered the chicken kebob plate. It came with two chicken kebab, hummus, naan, salad, and rice. Chicken was charred to perfection. It was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Flavors from the chicken were just right. Hummus was so fresh and smooth. Their naan is a bit dry so for that, it did not wow me. Will definitely try other options again some day

Tasty wraps and very nice owner. Open late for your falafel or shawarma fix. Next time I'll have to get an extra wrap.

Had a chance to try House of Falafel and I really enjoyed it! We had some leftover Uber eats credit and decided this was a fun place to try it with some yummy Mediterranean food. Once we ordered service was fast for pick up and we were able to bring home quickly to eat. We ended up ordering:* chicken shawarma wrap - gosh this was a favorite and so delicious. The seasoning on the chicken was delicious and juicy and everything that went in the wrap was refreshing and fantastic! The veggies inside was yummy and crunchy and the sauce was awesome. Make sure to bring a lot of napkins though bc it's messy* chicken kabob plate - this was yummy as well, chicken was nice and juicy and came with rice, hummus and salad. Overall solid plate.Overall food was good and the wrap I would highly recommend to try out!

I've driven past this restaurant & the plaza it's in so many times, but finally thought to try it once my friend and I were stumped on what to get! We'd never gotten Mediterranean food together before and the reviews are good, so we thought why not?We got a lamb shawarma wrap, a chicken shawarma plate, and a fountain drink. The quantity for the price is honestly amazing, I couldn't even finish my wrap because there was so much inside it! The vegetables are fresh and the sauce is good too. My main complaint is that the lamb shawarma tasted too salty. It was difficult to get through, the meat wasn't super tender either which didn't help. The wrap is decent, my friend enjoyed his chicken shawarma plate as well. The fountain drinks are $3 with free refills, so refill to your heart's content! Ambiance is fine, it doesn't try to be something it's not and the only people we saw go in and out were ordering takeout. We were the only people dining in, I'd suggest taking out your order or eating at a park nearby/Main Street Cupertino if the weather is good.

This place is such a gem! The food is always fresh and delicious. I'm obsessed with their kanafeh--it's a must-try! The portion sizes are huge for what you pay; I usually get the chicken kabob plate, and it honestly could feed two people.I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is incredibly sweet and welcoming. It was great to chat with him and thank him for the amazing food and service. Always a delight coming here! Highly recommend!
