For the longest time Saratoga Bagels was my #1 favorite bagel place in the entire Bay Area. Now, as of today, this place takes the #1 slot!The service is amazing how the two women handle the enormous lunch time line without flinching. The bagels are so fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And the coffee has been consistently delicious over the years.The outdoor seating is pleasant.I'm looking forward to returning a lot more than previously, and will absolutely recommend!!

I had a friend recommend me this place. I have honestly live down the street from here for at least 10 years. Did not try it until this weekend, But I feel like I missed out for years! I order the pesto bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. It was so fresh and delicious the pesto and garlic really brought it to a whole new level. The bagel was also chewy and warm.I also got a small coffee, the Colombian roast was so strong and all the right ways. It is a very cute bagel house walkable to San Jose State. I arrived around 9 and there was a line of at least 15 people ahead of me. It went by extremely fast and right after I ordered before I could even fill up my coffee cup. My bagel was ready. Definitely worth the wait!

Long line up on a Sunday morning but surprisingly when I finished ordering my bagel sandwiches were ready and piping hot too!I've been to a number of bagel shops and this is by far my favorite so far! They have so many different flavors to choose from but I end up the pesto cheese bagel with eggs, sausage and cheese. The bagel itself was soft but held up as a sandwich and was delicious! Unlike other bagels where I have to chew a lot this was very easy to eat. I did noticed the sesame bagel had a different texture, it was a bit harder, perhaps because it was the last one on the rack before they brought out a new batch? The prices are affordable and they were not sloppy with the way the sandwich was assembled. I can clearly see the egg, sausage and cheese distributed nicely inside. They also sell coffee but I'll leave that for next time.I"m coming back!

I am a bagel enthusiast among many other things. House of Bagels is pretty busy every time I pass by on Sundays, but the line goes fast.Egg, ham, and cheese was pretty classic -- the egg is super fluffy. They cut it in half which makes it very nice to split. I also tried the blueberry bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. The cream cheese is a lot more solid than spreadable, which is different from what I'm used to.

Nice way to start the morning! I've been going here a few times before work and each visit has been consistently great. I have tried the Lox spread and sausage egg cheese on pesto bagel and they were both delicious! They are also very nice and hardworking. It's a small space but it's good to take your order to go. They accept card but you aren't able to tip on the card reader so I recommend bringing cash. The parking lot is small but I haven't had an issue, I highly recommend stopping by!

Just moved to the area, and House of Bagels was the first bagel spot I tried--and let me tell you, it's also going to be the last because I've officially found my go-to place. This spot is an absolute gem.Walking up, I could tell right away this place is a local favorite--the line was out the door. But don't let that intimidate you, because they move FAST. I was impressed by how efficient they were, getting orders out quickly while still making everything fresh.And the bagels? Perfect. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside--exactly how a bagel should be. I went with a classic bagel and lox, and it did not disappoint. The toppings were fresh, the portion was generous, and the flavors were on point. Whether you're in the mood for a classic spread or something more loaded, they've got you covered.On top of that, the location itself is great. The atmosphere is welcoming, the smell of fresh bagels hits you the second you walk in, and it just has that authentic, no-frills, amazing bagel shop feel.I'm definitely making this a regular spot. If you're in San Jose and love bagels, this is the place to go.

This is the best house of bagel location in the Bay Area! There's always a line out the door but the wait is well worth it. I ordered the jalapeños and cheese bagel filled with a chive cream cheese. The service was fabulous as the food came out right away after ordering. The flavor of freshy baked bagels are hard to beat. I recommend this place as a must-try for bagel-lovers!

My boyfriend and I came here and ordered the Lox Bagel on a Pesto bagel! This place is a small business Vietnamese owned! The bagels were kinda expensive but honestly it was worth it since you're supporting a small business. The bagels were really good in my opinion and i 10/10 recommend trying!Would come back here again! Only reason for 4 stars is the price and our bagels didn't come with any cucumbers like the pictures.

The best bagel sandwich in the San Jose area hands down. The pesto cheese bagel is unreal. Bagels are fresh, perfectly pillowy and all types of cream cheese options available. Reasonably priced for a lox bagel and has the option of red onion, tomato, sprouts and a pickle on the side. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
