Delicious dinner that we were not expecting! Staff was friendly and Victor was amazing! The sizzling beef pepper and the honey walnut shrimp stole the show!!! All of the ingredients were so fresh and totally top notch! We also loved the chicken fried rice and wor wonton soup. The fresh flowers are a great addition on top of the well placed lights for a great ambiance. Definitely coming back!

Made a big takeout order for a birthday party. Hong's was delicious! One of the best Chinese spots south of San Jose, and probably my favorite in the Saratoga/Los Gatos area. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was great! The broccoli beef, green beans, Mu Shu pork, mushroom chicken dish, eggplant, and spicy beef were all flavorful, with well-cooked veggies and rich, tasty sauces. Their house-made chili sauce is a standout, not too spicy, but full of flavor. Their spicy mustard sauce is great as well. Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, this spot delivers solid, well-executed Chinese food

This place for me is back, baby! After a bit of a rough patch a few years ago, they've totally stepped up their game, and I'm here for it. The food is back to being everything you want from a great Chinese restaurant--fresh, flavorful, and downright delicious.Let's talk highlights: the potstickers are absolute perfection --crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, with the best dipping sauce in town. And the hot and sour soup? It's hitting all the right notes--just the right balance of spice and tangy goodness. These two alone are worth the trip. This visit we tried the Ming's Beef too. It's for sure added to our favs list. Full of flavor. It's so great to see this place back in top form. If you've been hesitant to give it another shot, now's the time. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Chinese is first rate quality, not too many additives(sugar, salt or grease). A nice family owned restaurant.

Very nice and quiet little spots. The price is on a higher side, but you can tell they have good quality food. I love their Peking duck, house fried rice and string beans. We also got their chicken salad and it was really good. Servers were attentive and friendly. We'll be back. :)

I've been a regular at Hongs for quite a few years now. Hongs is one of those classic restaurants that endures. The funny part is it doesn't look like those classic restaurants with bright red and gold decor. The interior is so tastefully decorated it's positively Zen. The service has always been and today was no exception superb.I was curious if today's inflation had made much impact on the menu. The dinner menu clearly showed some noticeable increases, some high enough that I probably wouldn't order it. The dinner menu came with enough sides that it would clearly be too much food for me. The lunch menu, someone had fought to keep prices close to $20.I ordered the Szechuan chicken from the lunch menu. The quantities were pretty impressive. I was full halfway through the meal but I knew I had a long day ahead and just ate the whole thing. The sauce was a blend of hot and sweet, it was a little too sweet for me, but then I eat so little sugar everything tastes really sweet to me. I was a little surprised that the chili sauce was barely hotter than the Szechuan chicken and so it kind of made the dish more oily instead of hotter. The fried rice was absolutely astounding. There seemed to be no oil anywhere. Very healthy. Sigh, but not very classic. Overall I thought the lunch menu was really reasonably priced given the amount of food. For me, eating at Hong's is a chance to eat restaurant staples that I ate as a kid. Although, I would chose to interpret my memories differently (fried rice needs to be oily!) Hong's got enough right that I'm happy.

I have been coming here for many years and I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Hong's is my go-to restaurant when I'm craving some delicious food. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. I personally love the Emerald Chili Chicken and their salt and pepper fish-it's to die for! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They also renovated recently, which is beautiful. I highly recommend coming if you have the chance!
