Amazing Ramen! I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. The broth was hot, flavorful, and full of depth. The pork pieces were thick and tender. The noodles had good flavor and were the perfect degree of chewy. The whole dish was well made and delicious but I would have them hold the spinach next time. That's just my personal preference and it was fantastic even with the spinach. It was incredibly busy when I came but they still had amazing service and sat me immediately. The interior is nothing special but i was here for the food. They definitely excelled there. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place to those looking for a ramen fix!

The food is off the hook, fried chicken with juicy and tenderThe soup base is amazing, you know is cooked for many hours to the richness of the broth. Noodle texture is great not too chewy or soft Ambiance - casuals dining like a cafeteria and spaciousService - ok, could be better and more attentive- hard to grab someone for additional needs as they are super busy

Came for lunch with some former coworker friends to catch up, and we really enjoyed it!I had the vegan ramen, which was reasonably flavorful and a good portion (which is what you expect out of a ramen shop, of course). My companions got rice bowls, and we were able to get confirmation from the waitress that my friend with the black pepper allergy was able to have the chicken one (other friend is less dietary restrained and got the salmon one). The ramen does take a bit longer than the rice bowls to come out, but on a cold day, it's worth the wait! The location is decent, with a reasonable amount of parking, but it fills up fast around lunchtime on a weekday. The waitresses vacillate between being attentive and aloof depending on the number of new folks coming in, which bugged one friend, but I had no issue with it and found them attentive enough for me. The restaurant itself isn't super loud, but we did have a couple of times when the waitresses noisily moved tables while we were talking to the annoyance of one of my friends, but that's pretty minor. We did really appreciate that they can do the bill per person rather than per table, which was very convenient!Overall, a pretty good place, and I appreciate that they accommodate for dietary restrictions like mine and my friend's. I will definitely be back next time I'm craving ramen in this area!

Not sure what made the review so good and the long wait. The soup and noodles were mediocre. We added spinach to it for $3.25 more. The chicken karaaga was delicious. It's just a simple ramen restaurant with an outrageous 16% mandatory tip .

I made a reservation at HiroNori Craft Ramen to escape All-Star weekend traffic in The Bay--and it turned out to be the best decision for a Saturday night! We arrived early, waited only 20 minutes for our 8PM reservation, and were instantly welcomed by a warm, friendly team. The moment you step inside, the irresistible aroma of rich broth and freshly made noodles has you practically drooling. We quickly scanned the menu and placed our orders: I went for the Tonkotsu Ramen Combo with a side Salmon Poke Bowl, and my date tried the vegan ramen, along with some must-have starters--Vegan Gyoza and Edamame. The Vegan Gyoza were perfectly crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside--no over-frying here! And the Edamame? A delightful surprise: steamed and then soaked in lime juice, they burst with flavor that had us hooked from the first bite. The Salmon Poke Bowl was a refreshing complement; the rice was fresh from the steamer, and the salmon was juicy without being overwhelming. But the star of the show was definitely the ramen. The broth was creamy, juicy, and spiced just right--plus, the house spicy sauce had us asking for extra all night long. I even couldn't resist mixing a bit of the complimentary salad's corn into my ramen for an extra pop of flavor.Overall, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The vibes were lively, the service was top-notch, and the food was out-of-this-world delicious. If you're in the mood for a mouthwatering ramen adventure, HiroNori Craft Ramen is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back for more!

This HiroNori location is by Great America. The parking lot is really small and limited to one hour. This restaurant out of the three HiroNori locations offers Yelp reservations on the app. That is a bonus. This location is pretty small though and will fill up real fast as this is next to many businesses as well. Not a fancy place but it's clean. I really like their ramen here. The added paste and fresh garlic adds more flavor but you don't need it. Their side salad and edamame's are good as well. Service is just service as they want to serve you and go as they have many customers. I would still come back for a quick ramen meal. [71R,2024]

Arriving a bit later into the San Jose area and was looking to try some community recommended places nearby. HiroNori looked to be highly rated and well liked by reviewers and went to go and check this place out! I stopped by on a Wednesday around 7:30pm, and the restaurant was popping - all tables filled and lots of people waiting in line for a seat, and also a 15-25 minutes wait for a table, so I decided to do takeout as it was a bit faster. The restaurant is located in a line of shopping/restaurants off of a busy street. Parking was difficult to find, as almost all of the spots were taken. You might have to do several loops and waiting for people to leave in order to snag a spot. The ambiance is busy and lively - if it's this busy on a Wednesday, I can only imagine how it will be on Friday or Saturday. There are mostly windows surrounding one side of the restaurant so it feels very open. One unfortunate thing was that the server forgot half of my order. I ordered Pork Buns and just after getting ready to leave the restaurant, I noticed that there were only the ramen components and no buns. I think it would have been very disappointing getting back home and noticing that they were missing!I got two items, which I'll review down below:Pork Buns ($9): Pork buns were decent - soft buns with well flavored and tender pork in the middle. Nice contrast with the pickled onions and you can definitely taste the hoisin sauce which gave the bun a rich flavor. I'm not sure that the pork buns are worth $4.50 each though, as I've tried other pork buns with way more complex and delicious flavors with more pork based on other Japanese restaurants that I have been to.Tonkotsu Ramen ($18): The pros of this bowl of ramen: absolutely delicious broth - silky smooth in terms of texture, full of rich pork flavor and very pleasant to sip! Noodles had good chew, and the scrumptious broth clung to them nicely. Chashu is good, nice and tender and still had a subtle smokey flavor even when placed in a to-go container. Overall a delicious bowl of ramen. The cons: In my opinion, definitely the price. I think that the both the ramen and the pork buns are steeper than other Japanese ramen restaurants I've been to. At some establishments in areas where the cost of living is comparable, you can get a solid bowl of ramen + a side/appetizer for $17-$20. I think that spending that amount on a single bowl doesn't feel right in my opinion. To be honest, I think HiroNori lean quite steep in terms of price for quality/quantity. Though my main gripe for HiroNori is price to food ratio, they do serve nice bowls of ramen here, and is a nice atmosphere to take company to chat and enjoy comforting bowls of ramen. (3.5 stars)

We came here on a Sunday night, and it was surprisingly packed! I was excited to find a new ramen place in South Bay. I'm usually a fan of very flavorful broth, curlier noodles, and ground pork or chicken, as well as a good serving of vegetables like bamboo shoots and mushrooms. Unfortunately, HiroNori did not hit the mark for me.I tried the shoyu ramen with thin noodles. It was fine. The broth was flavorful mainly through the spicy paste. The noodles were able to somewhat cling onto the broth, but they weren't particularly bouncy or anything special. I didn't like the addition of spinach as the veggie aspect, and the chicken was quite bland. The vegetarian ramen seemed good enough, but nothing worth coming back, for me, unfortunately. The service is quick and nice. There are better places.
