About time to checkout the newish AYCE sushi. We do miss the old AYCE Chinese buffet especially the free on your birthday deal. But we also welcome good sushi like this. The server was suuuper sweet and nice. Always attentive and chatting with us about what to order and how. So nice and helpful! Would come back all the time just to be waited by her lol!Loved the omakase box. That alone is worth the price of admission. Also enjoyed the various sashimi, nigiri and hand rolls. And of course some of the hot apps like scallops and mussels are must haves. And yes, I caved in and got the lion king roll and didn't regret it!Parking is tricky but there's a big garage (free) next door so that's a big help if you can find it. IYKYK! Would definitely come back when we're craving good sushi again!

This restaurant is great for the value that you're paying!HOWEVER, please note if and when you go during lunch, the moment you order the omakase box, you're paying dinner pricing. When we were ordering our first round, we immediately got the omakase box and the server did not warn us about the price change! Had I known that, I would have just ordered the sashimi combo. Overall, great quality of food, just wished that they told us ahead of time about the price change.

Hinata Sushi is a solid local spot that keeps me coming back every so often, and for good reason. The sashimi platter here is accomodating--it's incredibly fresh, and you can tell they're serving their highest-quality fish in this dish. The catch? You can only order it once per table, so savor every bite. Make sure to order it with your AYCE. They also offer a variety of lower-tiered sashimi combos that are still quite good. The menu also branches out beyond sushi, with options like pork, chicken, and beef, as well as plenty of fried items. That said, I'd skip the chicken karaage--it didn't hit. Instead, go for the baked mussels with garlic. You gotta get the salmon and butterfish with ponzu sauce. I got like 10 orders of those. Not fancy, but it's consistently satisfying, and after having it 3 times already i think it gets better each time. Try going lunch times, it isnt as packed.

Hinata is bomb. It is located on the second floor of the building in the middle of the down town. You can seat there with your parties only 90 minutes and enjoy the all you can eat buffet. It is not like traditional buffet that you get up and look around. Each table has a server. You ask and they bring the food to you.I am a sushimi lover, so for me was 20 pieces of salmon sashimi plus 10 pieces of chef special sashimi to pick. At the end good round of 4 of yakitorri chicken and beef.Hubby ordered shrimp tempura and cooked sushi lines. For each person you pay 40$ plus tip and tax.Come and enjoy,Highly recommended

Looked great in the pictures and the reviews seemed to rave about it, personally I've had better AYCE sushi and I didn't like how most of the rolls/offerings tasted.Early on in the meal you can tell this place is just a very california roll-centric factory, all the rolls are just cookie cutters of "take a california roll and insert something random on top of it". I know that's the premise for most American sushi rolls now-a-days, but other places can get the integrity and flavor synergy down a lot better IMO. There wasn't a lot of variety, and it just tasted very cheap. They had a premium sashimi platter that looked great, but it was still very frozen and we were letting it sit for like a good 10-15 minutes and it was still cold/frozen. They had skewers too which I enjoyed (and unfortunately a lot more than the sushi rolls).I would pass on this place.

I came here with a friend to enjoy AYCE sushi, and we had a great time. We came around lunch, and there were many empty tables, so we were seated immediately. The place had open windows and was very big with a sushi bar at the front. The server grabbed us water and immediately got our first order. She showed us how to order on our phones, and it is three items per person. The quality of the fish is okay, definitely not the best, but certainly not bad. The fish was frozen, and you could tell by how icy or cold the sashimi was. However, the salmon and walu were my favorite fish from their selection. I also really liked the vegetable skewers and unagi hand rolls. This is one of the better AYCE sushi places I have been to.The food always came really fast, and service was nice. We were told our time was up, but they did not make us feel rushed to leave. I would come back another time!

We visited Hinata Sushi Kitchen on a Thursday evening around 6 PM, and the restaurant was surprisingly busy, which speaks volumes about its popularity. We saw a couple of celebrations (larger tables), but the service to us was incredibly efficient and prompt, which we greatly appreciated. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option and focused on the sashimi. To our delight, the fish was incredibly fresh and served at the perfect temperature - not overly chilled, which can sometimes diminish the flavor. We were able to order six items at a time, allowing us to sample a variety of delicious offerings. While we were a bit disappointed that oysters are no longer included in the all-you-can-eat option (understandably, likely due to increased costs), the overall quality of the sashimi more than made up for it.Give em a try!

Amazing AYCE Sushi for 90 minutes! I've come here a few times with a party of 3, and it's always been a hit whenever we're here, and we leave stuffed within our 2 hour limit. We've been to this location way back when it was a buffet many years before the pandemic hit. We're happy to see that this has been converted into an AYCE sushi spot. You can't go wrong with good sushi, and so many things on the menu are total winners, including all the rolls, nigiri, handrolls, skewers, and sashimi. My dad, who doesn't like raw foods and fish, wishes there were more cooked items on the menu. So he appreciates it when we order cooked items for him, such as the Lion King roll. The food is so good, I even brought my boyfriend here. My boyfriend isn't a fan of raw fish and raw sushi (he'll eat baked sushi, so the Lion King and the Hinata special is edible to him), but he came here with me, and we left super stuffed. We really loved the tempura shrimp, chicken karaage, squid karaage, spring rolls, etc. I always get the omakase every time I'm here, since I'm a big sashimi fan. I was sad to see on my most recent visit that the omakase is very skimpy. Music-wise, it's quite eclectic. On my visits last year, there's a lot of Mandarin music being played, complete with plenty of Jay Chou. On my most recent visit, there's a mix of Chinese music, American pop/dance, and surprisingly, Nightwish songs. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard "Bye Bye Beautiful" being played. I thought it was a fluke, but then about 15 minutes later, I hear the obscure and old-school Nightwish song "She Is My Sin" playing. Someone here is a fellow Nightwish fan, and that makes me happy. Will definitely be back for some more!

We keep coming back here for their AYCE menu. The omakase box never disappoints but I do believe we enjoy the hand rolls more now that before. The servers are super helpful and the ordering via QR code after your first round is really easy to use if you're able to use your phone. Their smaller lunch menu is also worth the trip in my opinion. You aren't able to get certain rolls or appetizers but there is still plenty of options for the $30 lunch option.

If you're looking for an affordable all-you-can-eat sushi spot, Hinata Sushi Kitchen is worth checking out. The prices are very budget-friendly, making it a great choice if you're craving sushi without spending too much. The service was impressively fast--our orders came out quickly, which kept the meal moving at a nice pace. The food itself was good. There's a variety of rolls and sides to choose from, so there's something for everyone.Overall, Hinata is a solid option if you're after a quick, cheap, and filling sushi experience.
