Food -was authentic and delicious. Indian Tikka Masala medium spiced was perfect! with a Vegetarian biryani was wonderfully tasty (medium spice). Service was very personal - offered me tea chai as I waited and a seat. 15-20 minutes. I had just walked in. I will return!

It's the best Himalayan food in the Bay Area. I've been here a couple times and I highly recommend it. I'm not sure whether you're allowed to eat inside anymore because of the days of Covid but you could certainly take the food to go and go to a park or something like that to say hi to Chef Deepak

Really bad chicken momos. I know authentic momo taste, this is no where close. Don't waste your money

No doubt, they serve one of the best veggie and chicken momos in east bay. Compared to other near-by indo-chinese places, their price is a bit on the high side..

I was excited to see some variety in Newark and really wanted to like this place, but everything we ordered was average and I can't say I'd order again. We tried the chicken momos, mount everest chicken curry, egg noodle bowl, and veggie fried rice bowl. I'd say it represented a good vairety of items across the menu, but none really pleased.I was especially looking forward to the momos, but the dumpling skin was so thick it was almost doughy, and they were so packed with filling, which made them super heavy vs an appetizer. The chicken curry had potential, but the chicken itself was overcooked and very dried out. I barely ate it. The curry - not so bad. The noodle and rice bowls were stark opposites. The noodle bowl was flaming with spice - so much so that the heat was taking away from the flavors. In contrast, the rice was colorful and looked great, but had very little flavor.Overall, portion sizes were large, so that was a plus, but the food was just meh and a departure from other Himalayan flld we've tried. Good to try once, but I think that's pretty much it for us.

This chef came to our office cafe as a guest chef today. All I can say is wow! I hope we have him back soon. Every dish was amazing.

I love this place! The owners are so friendly, and the food is amazing. I usually go on Yelp just to read reviews, but this place is so good I thought it's time to finally write one of my own. I really hope more people come and check them out! They definitely deserve it. I first tried them out last week, and I'm back already lol. My favorite dish is the vegan mushroom and cauliflower peas curry. But their salmon curry and Tibetan Shambala beef curry are also worth trying! And don't forget the side of naan along with the curry :) I would've taken pics, but I was so hungry and the food so good I didn't think about it until after - whoops

Updating my previous review:He catered our wedding, and we are so very happy for his wonderful services. Chef Deepak is an amazing Chef and just delightful to work with. We are vegetarians, and he was wonderful in creating a great menu. Appetizers were stuffed portobello mushrooms and bruschetta. The salad was absolutely delicious - mango and endive with vinaigrette. Entree was eggplant napoleon, spaghetti squash, creamy pesto tortellini, italian mixed vegetables, potatoes with herbs. All the attendees absolutely loved the food! As I mentioned previously, Chef Deepak had us over his home to choose the menu and select dishes. Chef Deepak was wonderful logistically. We went to the kitchen/event prior to the event, so he could have the kitchen set up. He arranged for servers at our wedding, which was wonderful as well. He also suggested a very good rental service where we got plates, dishes, etc. All these things made planning the event much easier. He was wonderful offering his advice on things to order for the event, and knowing the correct number of services and hours that were needed for their services.Chef Deepak is an amazing chef who is wonderful to work with. He really made our day special, and we are so very happy with his services. If we ever have any other catering needs, he will be our first call! Highly recommended!
