Hijau

I'm glad I got to try Hijau on their last day of service before going on break! Most of the people going to the rose garden farmers market seem to be for Hijau, so I hope they come back soon!The owners are a very sweet couple who seem passionate and enthusiastic about their craft, as they should be! I got the Klepon latte and my partner got the pandan latte and we loved them. They were unique and I haven't had anything like it before. Everything tasted natural and fresh. I hope to try something from them again next time!

I was excited to try this place out once I saw videos on Instagram! This was my first time at the farmer's market and there were lots of parking spots. It was busy ~10 am but that was no problem. I ordered all of the signature lattes and I do not regret it. The pandan latte had a smooth flavor. Usually with pandan flavored things you can tell it's slightly artificial and too sweet but this was delicious. I believe they make their own syrups with the pandan leaf and even top all of the pandan coffee drinks with the leaf. The nastar latte was an unexpected treat but the subtle pineapple flavor was incredible and unique. It doesn't taste too sweet like pineapple juice but spiced slightly to offset the sweetness. It was delicious and refreshing. The klepon had a nice coconut addition to the pandan latte. With some southeast Asian pandan treats there's usually a coconut flavor added. This drink reminded me of the filipino dessert buko pandan. I loved it.Overall the drinks were delicious, the staff was very nice, and the experience was great. I'm sad I caught them before their winter break but I'm excited to go back later.

Friendly service, creative menu, FLAMEY fruity Asian flavored coffees.Vibez: a pop up at the Rose Garden farmers market, located in the parking lot lot across the street from Lincoln High School, you're know you're at the right spot when you approach the green tent with the mobile espresso maker. Parking is plentiful, short walk from where you park to the market. Market itself is only about 12 tents, but good vege/fruit selection despite limited vendors!Nastar Lattee:The short of it is that it is a medium sweet latte with subtle notes of pineapple flavor. I had it with whole milk, and all the flavors worked great. The medium fruity sweetness it's the tastebuds first, followed by the milky coffee notes.Pandan steamer: for kids I assume, which is why my wife got it. Not super sweet, but sweet enough. Great grassy vanilla coconut pandan flavors, was pleasant sip after sip until the end

I came to the farmers market mainly to try this (and pick up bread). I got the Nastar Latte this time iced. At first, I really didn't get a good sip. I started mixing up the sendiments at the bottom and it really helped. It's got that dried pineapple kind of taste and the espresso was nice. I felt that I was rummaging a lot to get the good flavor, so that sucked. I may have enjoyed this better as a hot drink but who knows. I'd recommend anyone give this place a try.Service - 5 / Drink - 4

A neat little spot at the farmer's market! I'm not a fan of coffee but still wanted to support because Indonesian coffee sounded really interesting, and I'm glad they had non-coffee options. I ordered a pandan steamer with oat milk, which was delightfully nutty and toasty. It's not overwhelmingly sweet either.Service was great, and the people in charge were really friendly and chatted me up. If I was a coffee fan, I'd definitely want to try their regular coffee drinks, but alas...

I think this place is new since I've never seen this stall before which is at the farmer's market. It was pretty crowded when I went since it was a very hot day in San Jose! Service was excellent as the ( couple? ) started making my drink right away and were very friendly. You MUST get the pandan latte! It has a very unique taste which tasted good on a hot day! Overall I would definitely come back here again! I highly recommend it!!

Enjoyed the pandan latte! I could taste the pandan flavor well. I'd like to point out the owners were very kind and accommodating, as I was with a friend who was looking for a non-coffee yet caffeinated drink & they made her a custom drink that she really enjoyed!

What a cute indo-inspired coffee pop-up at the Rose Garden Farmers Market! I love that it's woman and immigrant-owned! Luckily, the Farmers Market is located across from Lincoln High School so the parking is abundant. We decided to pop by after our brunch at John's Pancake House since it was only a mile away. There were A LOT of people in line, but it moved quickly. One of the top recommended drinks was the pandan latte ($6.25), with house-made pandan syrup and a real pandan leaf! I got the iced version while my fiancé got the hot version. I would definitely recommend half syrup or even 25% syrup if you are used to drinking regular lattes. It taste very similar to vanilla syrup but more natural, nutty, and floral. Be sure to pop by every Saturday at the Rose Garden Farmers Market or follow their Instagram @wearehijau for any updates.

The lattes are uniquely flavored! Service is really good and there is seating nearby to enjoy the coffee, highly recommend!

my sister and i got the happy soda and 2 pandan lattes (1 hot & 1 cold)- it was amazing and the service was great will definitely go again bc this is such a great addition to the rose garden fm ! i preferred the hot pandan latte because the way the milk was textured makes it so velvety and rich (you can really taste the pandan). the happy soda was also great and is also very sweet :)this coffee is great to pair with everything else offered at the rose garden fm- from the popcorn to grocery shopping for veggies to the strawberries too! so happy that it's there definitely come before 10am because the line starts getting serious after haha
