High on Fries

This place was a hit! You CANNOT go wrong with the Fully Loaded Waffle fries with all the fixings! The owner was super friendly and explanatory with the menu.. after speaking with him i just had to try it all so the fully loaded was my best option! The Fries were crisp and not oily, cooked to perfection, as well as trying all the meat options. The meat with seasoned well and not too salty or overdone. It was Oakland First Fridays so the line was long but my food came out in 15minutes, not bad for the order capacity ahead of me! My friend and I were excited for the veggie wedgie fries. We were so excited to learn what protein the veggie wedgie was. Only to learn that the $14 bucks was just including all the veggie options on the menu (which you can already add since max items are 9). Fries delicious. But veggie wedgie option... Meh. Just go for the garlic. The fries are delicious! But the guac is so small.

I saw this food truck in San Lorenzo, about two blocks away from the San Lorenzo library, on the corner of Paseo Grande and Via Arriba.I tried their waffle fries with steak, and included various toppings like nacho cheese, guacamole and olives. It was so good! The fries were so crisp and not oily. The fries held up my toppings so well as I was devouring them. The toppings were delicious as well, and I like how I can easily pick and choose what I want topped on my fries.The owner was super nice and explained his menu really well. He even told us of a special he had: Lumpia Fries (Fries topped with Lumpia). I hope to try that special next time!!! I'm already looking forward for the next time I try their fries again! Highly recommend!!!

I def thought "steak fries" were a novelty cus I've only had them from the East Oakland taco truck, but when I seen them I was way too curious!I like how they have hella meats. I've never even heard of links on fries but let me tell you... FIRE I got the curly fries with links, shredded and nacho cheese, and most of the fixings (I don't eat olives, guac or onions) and it was way too good. I ate most it with my fingers The fries weren't soggy and the links were spicy AND HOT but the toppings were crisp? Idk how they managed that.The food came out quick but there were only a few of us there when I got in line. It is a food truck so I assume the busier the event the longer the line?Overall, they're reasonably priced ($22 for a huge plate, extra sour cream and a canned soda) and the line moved quick. I'd like to see some pico de gallo on the menu but that's not a huge deal for me!

I often see this food truck off of Hesperian near my barber's shop so I had to side thru and give it a try. I would advise everyone to get the waffles fries!!! They are have the right amount of crisp to em and when you top em with steak... BRRRUUUHHHHHH!!!! 10 OUT OF 10!

I had the pleasure of trying high on fries a couple weeks ago and they were great!! The owner is super friendly and has a great variety to choose from. I love garlic fries and asked him to be generous with the garlic and it came out as I expected! I definitely recommend trying these fries with the combination of your choosing! It's a great big portion size as well, I shared with my husband.

Top tier food. fast service. for good prices and even better customer service. Keith Lee would give it a 9.5 out of 10

Waited for about 20 minutes at Oakland first Friday 5/3/24 just for it to be filled half way and the links be burnt. Very minimal sour cream and cheese. Could've made this myself for 19$

Amazing food and even better hospitality. I seek this food truck every time I'm in San Leandro.

Great food and great service. Variety of delicious ways to enjoy your fries. Loved it.
