Very nice and helpful staff. I needed a burnt almond cake for my mom's 82nd Birthday.I walked in with no preorder and hopeful. Well, they had one round one left! It was pricey, but I don't care. My mom is worth it. Was a very good cake that we all enjoyed.It was nicely boxed up and they let me pick out a birthday banner for it.Very happy with the cake and friendly service I received. This place is right by my workplace and I will purchasing more cakes for my team birthdays in the future!

I ordered TGTG seeing that they're relatively new, and I was surprised to see that they grabbed baked items right from the display case. Wondering if they're using TGTG as a marketing platform, but in any case it's working for me because I had a great experience and the baked items were delicious! I popped everything in the air fryer to reheat before enjoying the pastries. I don't know the names of anything, but there were 4 items. I also didn't see prices listed next to the items on display, so it's a mystery as to how much these cost normally. - hotdog bun - this one was alright, I didn't like the hot dog that they used - danish - might've been cream cheese, light and delicious - scone - might've been walnut scone, this was delicious - pastry with ham and egg - also yum!

My wife and I stumbled upon this bakery right before they closed. Lucas, the owners son, was very hospitable, telling us about the decor and the pastries. Everything looked so good we had to try something. Once my wife and I got home, we dove into the pastries and this million layer cake is to die for. A perfect treat to end the day! Also highly recommend the mocha cake that we got. Very very good. Will definitely be coming back to support this local, family owned small business!

Hermes Bakery replaces Copenhagen bakery in the strip mall with Smart & Final; however, it seems like they kept all of the same recipes/items as before, but renovated the store and also added some Colombian specialties (in the display cases in the back right corner). They had SO many different items to choose from, it was difficult to narrow it down. I ended up trying a couple of items from their traditional menu, as well as an item from their Colombian menu: Bocadillo w/Guava & Cheese, Cheese Danish, Custard Puff (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=r1UxuC5vqUKLnP9o7bAT9w&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). Surprisingly, the bocadillo was my favorite out of the items. It looked like a bagel, but was softer and fluffier than a bagel, and the guava and cheese filling was good. The cheese danish and custard puff tasted very similar, and I wasn't a fan of their custard flavor/texture (too sweet and has a thicker consistency). I would come back if in the area to check out their burnt almond cake and try additional Colombian pastries. I hope they add labels to their items with pricing information since I was surprised that my 3 items came out to ~$15. Their staff was very friendly and helpful, and were one of the highlights of the visit. Only indoor seating is available. Parking was easy to find in this plaza.

I came here for the burnt almond cake - this flavor is one of my faves at another bakery so I decided to try Hermes! They had different varieties of pastries to choose from, including full size cakes. I tried their guava bread and ofc, the burnt almond. The guava bread had the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness, it was kind of like a donut. The burnt almond cake was good! It had a mix of an almond/lemon flavor to it - the cream inside wasn't too sweet and the cake itself was soft and fluffy, it reminded me of an angel food cake.

Bought a pumpkin spice pie for thanksgiving. It was giving undercooked. It was giving canned pie filling. It was giving needs more whipping cream to finish it. Don't give anything a try, you'll be disappointed

I did TGTG and everything I got was delicious though they could have used a bit more filling. Service was nice and quick. Looks like a cute shop and I'd definitely come back.

Went back to try the croissant, custard cream puff, Tiramisu cake and Chocolate Cake. Custard in the huge cream puff was yummy and not too sweet. The puff was generously filled. The Chocolate cake was pretty light, not dense, the flavor of the cake was also light but still tasted the chocolate flavor which was a great balance to the yummy stronger mocha frosting (could be coffee flavor). Fluffy and moist. Croissant was good. More bread like texture with less layers as with the French croissant. Tiramisu was also good; lighter on the espresso flavor. Also moist and fluffy cake layers.They had samples of the thumbprint cookies, wedding cookies, and cinnamon rolls. The raspberry thumbprint was good but I did not prefer the slightly sour taste of the raspberry jam. The wedding cookie sample was also good. The cinnamon roll was soft and not overly sweet. Nice young cashier at the front. She offered samples right away and made sure she greeted every person that came through the door.

Picked up a TGTG order and everything was yummy! The blueberry scone and almond ring were very good!
