I came back the 3rd time! The hot pot is fresh and natural. I also like the coconut pudding, very light and creamy. The scallops are also very good. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Went to get dinner here while in the area. Parking was easy to find with a lot conveniently located across the block. Ordering is done via a qr code on the table and was easy to order. Golden chicken broth was the favorite, although the tomato broth was very good as well. The pumpkin in the vegetable platter was creamy and mushroom platter was a good size for our table. The beef was excellent for its price. The service was nice and workers were attentive, adjusting the gas as necessary.

Didn't know about this place until a friend recommended it and we came for a lovely two person dinner. There's plenty of street parking nearby. The place is well lit and clean. Waiters and waitresses were attentive. Now on the food. There were some expensive premium Wagyu beef combos on the menu. We felt it was a bit of overkill for shabushabu like this, so we ordered beef/lamb plates, seafood combo, mushroom combo, etc. Overall I liked the quality of food, and the soup base is also quite flavorful. From a hotpot perspective there's little to fault. But one thing to keep in mind is that hotpot is supposed to be a common folk cuisine. We ended up with a bill of over $130 for two, which is in no way great value, as hotpot should be. As a result, I can only give this place four star.

Went here at 5pm for a dinner with 2 girlfriends! We ordered the package deal that came with choices for appetizer, meats, mushrooms / veg, 3 broths and a drink!Positives- What makes this place SHINE is their BROTH. Hot damn it's delicious and tasty, best hot pot broth I've had in the Bay Area! We had the tomato, pork bone and tom kha. My fav was the tom kha and tomato! Negative- They had a big party upstairs, so our dining time took LONG and service mostly preoccupied busy upstairs. They acknowledged this though and were apologetic, which I appreciate! We dined for ~2.5 hrs- For the price, the meat servings are on the small side. It was okay because we are 3 petite females, but if there were men in a mix, they'd still be hungry afterwards.

We had a party of 4 that arrived around 2:15pm on a Saturday, there was no wait. We came here originally because we saw photos of skewers on Yelp but unfortunately skewers are no longer on the menu. We were disappointed but decided to stay and I'm glad we did. We were pleasantly surprised with the broths and the quality of the ingredients. We ordered the chicken broth and the Tom yum. Both were solid options and I liked the variety. The Tom Yum broth definitely has a kick to it even when we ordered mild.My favorite thing was the yam noodles that look opaque and hardened when it arrives but when cooked, becomes transparent. Those noodles are so chewy and soaks up all the flavor in the broth. It's really good. There's also a sauce bar that you create your own sauces at. Although it's small and has limited options, I appreciate how they have garlic, cilantro, soy sauce and sugar-- that's usually my go to sauce. I would definitely come back. It's worth the price for the higher quality ingredients.

Love this for lunch! Their lunch set (I believe $17.99 for your choice of broth, meat, default veggies, and choice of noodle) is my go-to for a warm, soupy option when I'm in the area. They separate the toppings from the broth when you order it for takeout which avoids the ingredients getting soggy. The chicken broth tastes like a bit richer than what you'd get in a can/box at the store and their spicy broth is delicious! But beware of the spicy oil layer that floats at the top -- it definitely has a kick, so I'd make sure to stir the broth well before your first bite. I tried dining in with a small group for lunch one day, but it took a while for our food to be served. We needed to leave for other commitments shortly after, so we ended up asking the staff to pack them as to go before it was served. They were nice and flexible about it, which was super appreciated! Overall, I think this is a great deal for the area it's in.

Super cute hot pot place with beautiful decorations and good deals. Service was very attentive and food options were good! We got the two person combo which came out to $30 each and was plenty of food. They kept filling up out broths, so we could've eaten forever! This place is nicely decorated and had a whole upstairs too that would be good for a large group or private party. We also got free tea to start our meal off.
