Review for Haveli Kabab & GrillHaveli Kabab & Grill is a true gem for Indian cuisine lovers. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and enticing aromas set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The butter chicken is absolutely divine--rich, creamy, and packed with authentic flavors. It's perfectly spiced to balance the sweetness of the cream and the savoriness of the tender chicken. Another standout is the chicken tikka masala, which features smoky, charred chicken pieces in a luscious tomato-based sauce that's bursting with flavor. Both dishes are clear evidence of the kitchen's expertise. The naan bread is a must-try as well. It's wonderfully fluffy with just the right amount of chewiness, ideal for scooping up every last bit of sauce from your plate.Haveli Kabab & Grill delivers on every front--excellent food, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone craving authentic and satisfying Indian dishes.

Solid Indian place here. Good service with plenty of seatings in the restaurant. Good decorations around the restaurant.Food was great! Butter chicken came out hot with buttery and a hint of sweet flavor. Garlic naan has good amount of garlic on it. Tandoori chicken came sizzling and was seasoned well. The chicken 65 has good sauce but chicken is a bit more soft than crispy. A bit soggy.Overall good Indian restaurant and would come back for the butter chicken.

I was craving some Indian food and found Haveli pretty close by. Came in around 8:30pm and the place was pretty empty except one other family and my party. We ordered 4 items: Garlic Naan - great favor and really enjoyed it Butter Chicken - nice creaminess and sweetness with bright flavors; this was my boyfriend and I's favorite dish of the night! Chicken Tikka - the spices and grill flavor was great! Really enjoyed it being served on a hot plate Chicken 65 - this was our least favorite dish and the only one that didn't hit. It tasted a bit more like a Chinese sweet and sour chicken than chicken 65 we have gotten at other places that are crispy. Unfortunately, the server also dropped 3-4 pieces when he brought it to our table. The manager was nice and gave us an extra chicken 65 to go on our way out to make up for it. Overall, would definitely go back when I'm craving a warm and spicy Indian curry. I also saw the table next to me order a puri that looked delicious and might go for that next time.

I tried chili chicken and goat biryani here. The chili chicken was pretty good with crispy chicken an adequate amount of spice and sauce. It would have been better if it was less salty, but overall still edible and everything else about it was good.We also tried the goat biryani here, it was not bad, but it wasnt packed with masala like biryani normally is like. The goat itself was tender and not dry. Adding more salt to this dish would have helped. If they had a choice of 'mild' , 'medium' or 'hot' to cater to different taste buds, I could definitely see this becoming a hit. Overall, the ambiance is nice and waitors are attentive. Hope they take into consideration the feedback and make changes accordingly. This place was 3.5 for me, but rounding up because I haven't tried many items on their menu and they have tons of potential!

Had a chance to try Haveli in the Evergreen area, and the food here was honestly bomb! My dad placed an order and picked it up quickly - we wanted to have a wine night and were feeling some kabobs to go along with it. We got to try the tandoori chicken which was so well flavored and seasoned. The chicken was juicy and very yummy. We also tried the malai chicken kabob which was boneless and succulent. I enjoyed that both kabobs came with grilled onions and green chutney which was DELISH. Definitely would get these foods from Haveli again!

The restaurant itself was very clean and nice, with dim lighting that made the place feel very cozy. The food was not too bad, but also not the best Indian food I've tried either. Service could be a lot better because we waited for a very long time (30+ min) for our food despite the place being nearly empty. The staff also gave half of my group's food first and the other half food 30 minutes later. By the time we got the other half of the food, the first half was already done. I think that our group should've at least gotten the food at the same time. Half of us were only eating at a time and it ruined the dining experience a bit.

We went for my Dad's birthday dinner on Saturday night. It was not busy when we went there. The mark of an authentic restaurant is seeing Indian people there! The butter chicken and garlic naan were tasty. The palak paneer was creamy and good. My favorite was the sizzling tandoori chicken. Man, was it flavorful. The service and friendly. They also do a lunch buffet every day for I believe 16.99 from 11:30- 2:30pm.

My sister and I love Haveli for their chaat options. Our favorite currently is the aloo tikki chaat. Be careful when you order it "spicy", that was the spiciest dish I've eaten in years but still very tasty! It comes with a lot of curry. We ordered Chicken 65 but felt more like a chicken Manchurian because of the tomato flavor added, it was also more red than I have previously had.Chana Bhatura is another shareable option that we enjoy on occasion

Best traditional Indian food in the Bay Area!My wife is from Delhi and this is the 1st and only restaurant we've been to which she can compare to Delhi. The quality of their food is unbelievable. The prices are slightly higher than other restaurants in the area but rightly so. Every single one of their dishes is amazing. Best tandoori chicken. Best chicken curry. Gulab jamun like my mom makes. They simply outdo any restaurant in this area. We used to frequent 8Elements (because we didn't know any better) until we found this place. If you eat at any other Indian restaurant within a 10 mile radius of this place I assume it's because you haven't been to Haveli.Great service and atmosphere, beaten only by the incredibly high quality taste in all their dishes!

Authentic Delhi flavors in the Bay Area!As someone from Delhi, I can confidently say this is the only restaurant in the Bay Area that truly captures the flavors of home. Every dish is made with such care and authenticity--it's the kind of food that reminds you of family meals back in India. The tandoori chicken is perfection, the chicken curry is rich and flavorful, and the gulab jamun is just like my mom's. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish justify the slightly higher prices--it's absolutely worth it.We've tried plenty of Indian restaurants in the area, but nothing compares to Haveli. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out! The service is wonderful, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the food is simply the best.
