Hash N Dash

This is the second time i've been here but the first time tasting it. The first time as about a year ago, but when i got home, someone who's pregnant wanted it so i only got to hear how good it was haha. I have been trying to grab another one for a while now but never see them anymore until today while grabbing coffee. they are on 2nd street side now.This is a ridiculously delicious breakfast sandwich. The savoriness with a touch of sweetness to balance it out with the great different textures in a sandwich, this thing is a work of art hidden as just a breakfast sandwich.

Found these guys close to a year ago. Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Something super simple, but super delicious. The syrup drizzle makes the perfect topping. If they have jalapenos, but try those. They're always fresh and have the perfect kick. They do various coffee spots in San Jose and Campbell, but I don't mind the 20 minute drive for this sandwich. The staff working are super chill as well and now they sell shirts, hoodies and pullovers. Support your local small businesses!!!

Food: Breakfast smash burger style with a smashed pork patty, sliced onions in the patty, thick breakfast style egg that's runny, cheese on top, their own special sauce, jalapeños on side (my request), and Thomas brand English Muffins. Solid 3 stars because of the English Muffin and price (overpriced) of the overall smashed breakfast sandwich. I was expecting a freshly made English Muffin since everything else was made fresh.Ambiance: Straight to the point customer service. Almost felt like I was bugging them and needed to leave while I was placing my order. It was only me when I ordered with no line. Parking: They do pop-ups at various locations that have parking. You'll have to follow them on social media to find out where they will be next.

Excellent! Just happened to find this place on a morning walk and glad we did! Staff was very kind upon asking about what they serve (check), location was perfect since it is close to home and right in front of Chromatic Coffee Co. - great coffee and delicious food in one stop, again perfect (check), and.... While the breakfast sandwich may not look all that ... it was YUMMY . Egg was cooked just right and the smash sausage patty was packed with flavor... but the main star was the sauce - it complimented the other ingredients for an overall savory treat!

I came to this pop-up when they had set up shop outside of Chromatic Coffee. They only offer the 408 Smash. Unfortunately, they were out of avocados, but don't let that deter you away! The breakfast sandwich is similar to a McDonald's egg & sausage McMuffin, but it's SO MUCH BETTER! I'm not sure if they make their own blend of pork sausage; however, it's fresh! I added jalapeños to my order of two and it was just enough spice, savory, and a hint of sweetness because they put syrup and a special blend sauce. You cannot go wrong and thought they're about $10 each it's worth every penny! If I come back to San Jose during the days they're up I will definitely seek them out.

I had a training in San Jose today, I was so glad to have the excuse to hit these guys up finally. It was like 8:15am when I got there, and it looked like they weren't open yet. There was some guys cutting some trees right next to where they had set up. Nice that they stopped production. To you know, not have tree particles in our food. I think it was a little after 8:30 when they started taking orders in preparation of cooking when they guys were done cutting the tree down. I got my food at 8:45, it was a little out of order, but it was fine. I ordered a regular breakfast sandwich. It was about $12. I will say, make sure you get your napkins. It is messy. It's giving, upscale McGriddle. Delicious. But so messy. I thankfully had napkins in my car, because I forgot to get some from the guys. Delicious. Would for sure return.

I'm not fond of going to DTSJ. When I do, it's because there's a function at San Pedro Square, or I'm there for a convention. So in this instance, I was there for FanimeCon. I was there early enough for breakfast, so I decided to cheat and finally have this smashed breakkie sando that I've seen all over my Instagram, and I don't regret it at all. I had the 408 Smash. A smashed burger, bacon, and a perfectly cooked sunny egg with some syrup and orange sauce smashed beautifully in an English muffin. The end result is ooey gooey goodness. The combination of the bacon with the syrup really added some oomph to the flavor, and while I'm not a fan of sandwiches that get messy, it made up for it in deliciousness. If I had to nitpick, I'd want some more seasoning on the meat. It doesn't have the smoky burger flavor of a SmackBurger but maybe that isn't the point. So I won't dock them for things I usually do. Cant wait till the next time I'm there when they're there.

Hash N dashhhhh you did it! I'm always cautious when seeing a new hot food spot of social media but boyyyyyyy let me tell ya! This breakfast sandwich hits different! 5/5 for taste it's located at the REC ROOM Downtown San Jose,Ca open Thursday-Sunday but time varies depending on when they sell out. The sandwich is a smash burger patty with eggs, American cheese, some secret sauce and syrup. This works! Sweet and savory! Only down side is it's $12! But worth it !

Finally able to try and judge of the hype is real! If you want to be able to try these, you should head there early. We got there around 10ish and we got the last one order, and there's still people waiting behind us. I would've appreciate if the folks there gave the people heads up of how many orders are left and not let them just wait there for nothing. Food: they only have one choice for the breakfast sandwich. It's a classic sausage patty with cheese, egg, and english muffins. We paid 12 dollars for the small sandwich which I think is just overpriced. It's good tho, don't get me wrong, but i think the components, serving, and taste doesn't make up for the amount we paid Location: it's outside Academic coffee, by the sidewalk. Perfect to get this then get coffee next door. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. Will I go back? Sure. But maybe I'll still look for other good breakfast sandwich around the area
