Happy Flower Eatery & Boba

This place fills the void of Mint & Basil. A fully vegan menu with both mock meat dishes as well as tofu & veg dishes. I love that they also have a huge boba drink menu which is such a lovely treat, especially since many boba places don't necessarily have vegan options (usually "dairy-free" which is more like lactose-free but still derived from milk). I came here with a party of 6 + 1 toddler. They have highchairs here and were very understanding of us bringing a little bit of outside toddler food.There was plenty of seating for our party. The food and service were great. The food didn't take long to come out and the owner & servers were really friendly.We ordered: All Season Sample (rolls), salted phish fried rice, crispy tofu, combination vermicelli bowl, malaysian noodles, pad thai, and an array of boba drinks. Let's just say there were no leftovers here. We demolished everything we ordered. I can't wait to come back here again!

I went here on the day right after Valentine's Day with my girlfriend. The food is fantastic. We had the lemongrass fish dish and the curry. The side of rice was also huge and enough for two people. My girlfriend couldn't believe it wasn't real fish. The smell, taste and texture are basically the real thing. This is now our favorite little vegan restaurant. We will definitely come back here and tell all our friends. The restaurant has a cute decor there to it. And the service was very friendly and fast.

This little vegan gem is tucked in a bylane off 237 in Sunnyvale.The ambiance is average but it could have been a bit warmer as it was chilly insideService was what you'd expect from a small family run restaurant, a tad bit relaxed but polite and accommodating.Food overall was a 3.5/5. Week ordered 3 dishesLotus Salad (3.5/5) : a surprisingly refreshing taste. There was a certain, je ne sais quoi quality that made this a good dish to order.Beef Broccoli Lunch Plate (3/5) : this was an ok dish. The soy beef was needed to have a bit more gravy if being served with rice as a lunch plate. Without the gravy, we found this plate a bit drySaigon Sandwich (4/5): banh mi from Bicycle Banh Mi in sf is my gold standard when I eat banh mi. I ordered the Eggplant Tofu sandwich but asked for the eggplant to be removed which the owner courteously obliged. When I had the first bite I could sense my disappointment creep in. But something happened when I had the second bite and there was a twist in the taste as the lemony flavour hit the taste buds! From there on while not as good as Bicycle's banh mi, was close enough. Try this!

Ordered the Chow Fun and the Asparagus Soup: The chow fun and the Asparagus Soup came with a lot of vegetables. The Asparagus Soup had really good flavor. And the chow fun had glass-like noodles. The service was fast and responsive, and the ambiance is casual.

The restaurant is located in a very quiet area that most people wouldn't notice. It has outdoor dining which nice. The dishes we ate were delicious! Service was quick at least when we dined for a late Saturday lunch. It wasn't too busy but there were diners before and after we were there. I would definitely dine here when I am in the area.

Really glad to have found another great vegan restaurant in town! I ordered the summer rolls, combination vermicelli bowl, and taro milk tea. The summer rolls are refreshing and the vermicelli bowl features some vegan chicken and vegetarian eggrolls! Both were fried well and tasted great. I probably wouldn't order the milk tea in the future. The boba texture wasn't quite right and fell apart. Would definitely come back for the food!

Food tasted amazing. First time coming to this spot. We used their online portal for ordering for the staff. They also give discounts. Went to restaurant to pick up food and restaurant was very cute! The staff was very nice. Great place for vegetarians! They also have other protein options like tofu and chicken.

Dog friendly patio with friendly kind service. Has a ton of options for everyone. We loved the ginger chicken so much that we got another portion of it, haha. Perfectly chewy and soft center with crispy gingery exterior. Loved this dish! 5/5. The noodles were ok - a bit of wok hay would have really changed everything. We doused the noodles with sauces from the other dishes. Overall great experience - getting to choose protein options in a vegan menu is a dream :) Will be back to try the soups and get the ginger dish again.

Came here with friends because I specifically wanted to go to a vegan/vegetarian place. It was a hot day, and I don't think there's functional AC inside this spot, but it luckily wasn't TERRIBLY hot. The food was definitely piping hot, though!Partner and I got a vegan curry with roti (4 different carb options!!) and Malaysian noodles. Both were packed with veggies. The vegan curry was essentially a very good panang curry with tofu and vegetables, and they provided a good amount of roti on the side. The Malaysian noodles were kind of bland at first, but when I ate the leftovers later on in the day, I noticed the flavors had actually developed more. Noodle texture was good! We also got some summer rolls and fried squid to share. The fried squid hit the mark in terms of taste, and I enjoyed that the "meat" inside was soft, since you know, it's not actual squid. I'd skip the summer rolls next time though.I can't say anything about the boba because I didn't order it, but my friends said they liked it. Portion sizes were great, and so was the service. This overall feels like a nice homey spot, and while it's a bit isolated, it is pretty quiet and makes a nice area to chill out. Would love to come back!

Colourful hanging paper lanterns! Cute decor. Good amount of outdoor and indoor seating. Service was kind of slow but not too bad. My friend and I both ordered the strawberry yoghurt milk tea. It was creamy and had a nice texture. I personally would have preferred a stronger strawberry flavour and a sweeter taste (6/10 for me out of all boba drinks in Bay Area I've ordered). Overall, I would come back to this place for the ambience and lanterns and order a different drink next time, maybe try some of their food!
