I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. We were awarded a free meal here and stopped in. To begin, the food was great. Our party had the pizza, New York lasagna, pasta, bread and salad. Everything was perfect. The standouts were the pizza, bread and salad. The place is really big inside, so you feel very comfortable and not at all cramped. The service was spectacular. They refilled our drinks often and brought us bread a couple of times as well. The servers were on their game. Overall this was an unexpected but wonderful experience and I will for sure be returning.

We celebrated my mom's 98th birthday here today. I grew up in San Jose and used to visit their Foxworthy location frequently, but now that we've moved to Discovery Bay, we chose this location since it's closer. We started with the minestrone soup, which was hearty and full of great flavor. Next, we ordered the garlic bread with mozzarella, which came with a side of marinara sauce--very tasty! For our entrées, I had the lunch portion of spaghetti, but I couldn't even finish it (maybe too much soup and bread beforehand). The others ordered the grilled salmon salad and eggplant parmigiana. Unfortunately, the eggplant parmigiana was tough and not as enjoyable as we'd hoped. For dessert, we had tiramisu and sorbet gelato--both delicious! However, despite noting in my OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, they didn't acknowledge it or bring a complimentary dessert, which was a little disappointing. Our waiter didn't seem very friendly and appeared rushed, which made the experience feel less welcoming. While the food was good, a little more attentiveness would have made the meal more enjoyable. However, the two gentlemen eating lunch at the bar were very friendly and helped make the occasion even better. Their kindness added a special touch to the celebration.

I have been going to Giorgio's on Foxworthy for years "like way back in the early 70's" so imagine my surprise when I found out about this location in Milpitas! A group of us from work decided to go here for my retirement party. I ordered a 12 inch mushroom sausage pizza and added pineapple. "Don't you dare be hating on my love of pineapple" ;-) we also ordered calamari and La Bruschetta as appetizers. In typical Italian fashion they brought us plenty of bread and soft butter. Our server was great, he got all our orders right and made sure our water glasses stayed full. The Calamari was super tender "not chewy" and crispy on the outside and is served with a red and white sauce in separate containers. One of the things I just love about their Calamari is the amount of "legs" they give you! I am sooo a legs man. lol.The Bruschetta was so amazing. The bread was toasted but soft, it had attached tomatoes, minced, black olives, and a nice big basil leaf on top. Soooo good!!My mushroom and sausage pizza + pineapple was big for "a small pie" the outer crust was crispy and airy. The pie was also loaded with toppings. My only complaint is..... the sauce actually tasted bland and slightly watered down "which is very unusual for Giorgio's, having had hundreds of their pie over the years"Don't get me wrong it was still a good pie it just wasn't firing on all eight cylinders this time. Do I recommend? Absolutely!!

Giorgio's Italian Food and Pizzeria has been a staple in Milpitas for decades. Located in the Milpitas Town Center where there is plenty of parking available. The restaurant is spacious. They offer a covered expanded room and indoor dining.Linguini with Clams: tender clams simmered in their natural juices, served with linguini (4/5).Veal or Chicken Marsala: medallions of veal or chicken sauteed with garlic, shallots, mushrooms, and green onions, served in a marsala demi-glaze with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables (4/5). The sauce is flavorful, rich, and delicious. The veal was tender and juicy.Giorgio's Special: sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni, salami (4/5). The pizza has a thicker dough crust, which I like. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The service was nice, friendly, and he had a great sense of humor!

It's been a while since I've been to Giorgio's and because I wanted to support more family owned businesses, I decided to have dinner here. The food was great, the ambiance was fun, and the service was good.

We came tonight as a party of 6. We got seated promptly. My friends and I all ordered different items. The garlic bread and butter they give you is phenomenal. We had 2 caprese salads as an appetizer and they were so fresh. Everyone enjoyed their food. We got the brownie a la mode and molten chocolate cake for dessert both of which were also phenomenal. The only reason for minus one star is because our server asked me and another friend if we'd like a soup or salad with our entree. He made it sound like it came with it but when we got the bill we found out we were charged for it and frankly the Caesar salad was not good. This made my friend who was paying a little upset. Beyond that the experience was good.

When the stars make you droolJust like a pasta e fasule, that's amore (That's amore) Just like the famous song, from the legendary Dean Martin, one bite of the lasagna from Giorgio's will make you fall in love with every single bite! It's my favorite Italian restaurant, and every time we're in the area for a cup sleeve event, this is our place of choice for a dinner with our friends or as couple.Always great service, this time from Daniel! Such a great and attentive young man, to our group of seven, just like Riize. We enjoyed our dinner at Giorgio's and I'll definitely be back!Overall: 20 out of 10 Btw the sausage bread is legit as an appetizer, but get two orders for a bigger group to share!

I have tried many Italian restaurants during my 50 some odd trips around the sun. That being said, this is the one I grew up with. A local business run by the same family since it started. It has been a love affair that has lasted through the years. They have one in Mountain View, Willow Glen, and Milpitas. No matter which one you visit you will always see the dedication to the cuisine and quality of the ingredients. They even make their own Italian sausage! All of their food is terrific however I'm addicted to the pizza! I have to be honest. Compared to other pizza places the medium here looks like a large. Look at the picture. Packed with fresh toppings. Shhh...I shouldn't say these things too loudly, they might think they're being too generous! Picture is a Frank's Fiasco with no olives, no linguica, light mushroom. (Don't judge, it's a work of art)

We've been going to Giorgio's for years and years! Is it the best Italian restaurant in town? Probably not, but it is our cozy comfort zone. We've reserved the patio room for special occasions and have gone there on Tuesday night with no makeup and a ponytail to sit in a comfy booth and grab some pasta. My go-to dishes are the Mostaccioli de Bari and Spinach Salad. The mostaccioli is a creamy gorgonzola pasta with mushrooms and steak bites. We either split this or I take half home to eat the next day. If I'm planning ahead I like to leave a little room for dessert. I love their spinach salad! Love, love, love. It's got bacon, mushrooms, pine nuts, hard boiled eggs and of course fresh spinach but the dressing makes it. I do not buy salad dressings as I always make them from scratch at home. I asked one time if I could buy their dressing and they brought me a to-go pint and charged me a minimal amount. I've never even thought about writing a review for this place. It's like an old friend that you may forget to just stop and say thank you. So, thanks Giorgio's for always being there!
