This place is sooo legit! I love their lamb chops! Easily some of the best in town, even over fancy Italian restaurants!!! Their pizzas are super good too! The Hawaiian is my favorite!!!! Stop reading and order the lamb chops and a Hawaiian pizza now!!!! Hurry!!!Side note- I have ordered both items at least 3 times and I have yet to be disappointed

Idk what to say other than underwhelmed and sad. I'm very surprised this place has 4 stars. I personally feel like this place is no where near on par to the Afghan food in Fremont.Flavors from meat, chicken, sauces, and all were beyond underwhelming. Nothing special, I wish I just made a girl dinner at homeItems ordered:-Borani Banjan appetizer: decent, nothing to brag about, i've had better-Lamb Kabob: Dry & not a lot of flavor-Murgh Kabob (chicken): inconsistent inside. Some pieces were very dry and others were undercooked.

great food, attentive service, and a homey vibe! We ordered the chicken kabobs, beef kabobs, and a mantu. All the kabobs are charbroiled to perfection and the mantu was so yummy as well. They serve free bread which you can dip with both the red and green sauces on the table. I do like the red/green sauces at other afghan places better, but this was still good. I would come again!

The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside but the food is worth a stop if you're in the area. The decor and seating fixtures inside the restaurant are also somewhat dated so think of this place as a lunch spot with friends / colleagues and not a place with a "date-night" atmosphere. The chicken korma ($13.95) was good with a nice balance of spices and richness from the curry. The rice was prepared well and served as the perfect compliment to this dish. The Murgh Kabobs ($15.95) were a bit overdone to my liking but my wife, who ordered them, prefers a well-done style steak so she quite enjoyed the thorough cook on these pieces of chicken. The value for price paid on this dish is a bit off. I expected more than what I assume is a single skewer of chicken (4oz?) over rice and a small side salad. So we may order something else if we visit again. Soft drinks are served in cans, not through a fountain machine. We didn't order dessert but they looked to have had an interesting selection in their freezer by the front. Service is fairly fast with minimal contact. You order via a QR code at the table and your food is delivered to you when it's ready.

Delicious! Home-y feeling to the restaurant. Prices can be a bit more expensive; however the taste is amazing. They are not holding back on flavor town. I will be coming back! Disclaimer that the plain yogurt drink is a saltier version. I'm sure there are sweet ones you can order directly.

Triple combo plate Borani banjanMantuEverything was fantastic, each bite made me want more. We had the appetizer sizes for the borani banjan and mantu and wished we ordered larger portions. For 2 people all this food is plenty for you to feel full and maybe need to loosen your belt a little, however not uncomfortable. Absolutely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Ask for recommendations from staff.

Stopped by here for lunch and it was amazing the food was delicious. I have the teak steak kabobs and my bf had the murgh chicken kabobs both were delicious. I don't eat much rice but this rice was amazing. Service was fast seated fast because there weren't too many people there for lunch. The salad was great the green item on the plate i have no clue what it is was good too. Small place, but food was great. I didn't see parking but the bank next door is closed and empty. Really great prices as well for the portions. Really enjoyed my experience here

I found what I ordered (aush a type of soup and the murgh kabob) to be really good. Honestly, I read some reviews about the value, but I feel like the amount of meat on the plate isn't too small. Plus, with both the soup and the entree, I was able to split this into two meals because I couldn't finish in one sitting. That's value especially for a university student haha. The aush soup is interesting. It didn't look too much like the pictures I found online but it was quite good still. My friend remarked, like noodles in a tomato-ey chili. We also received a little sauce or dip. I don't have a picture nor do I really know what it was (forgive me) but it had chickpeas in it and was light green... that was good too. Though we didn't know if we were eating it right. Overall, the ambience is what it is, but I think I'll return for the takeout.

Came here for lunch and it was very quiet in the restaurant. Has a nice setting for dining. Not super fancy. The food was so good and the service was also very prompt and polite. We enjoyed the eggplant and also the lamb kebabs. It was perfectly seasoned and the portions were very generous. I thought the bread was ok. Will be back to try more dishes!
