Got to try three samples, and all of them were smooth, flavorful, and well-balanced. It can be hard to find good dairy-free gelato, but they nailed the texture--creamy and satisfying without feeling icy or thin.Service was friendly and efficient, and there was no long wait, making it an easy stop for a quick treat. The setting is nice, though more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and linger.If you're lactose-intolerant or just love good gelato, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Decent quality gelato with plenty of options to sample!The ube was delicious, nothing too special. The dark chocolate had a nice deep flavor and I would come back for it.Came on a Sunday evening, no crowd. It's a small shop with 1-2 tables inside and outdoor seating on Castro Street. The two workers were both friendly and let us sample as many flavors as we'd like.$7 for a small isn't cheap, but you can get two flavors and it was plenty filling.

Came here with my family after dinner! Good- So much variety! The regular gets you 3 flavors so more than enough to try - Huge fan of the chocolate strawberry and the coconut macadamia nut flavors - nice and sweet - Ample indoor seating and chairs, fast service - Nice and bright interior Bad - The honey lavender flavor was just ok - Overall the ice cream was very sweet and started to give me some regrets after I ate too much of it Overall enjoyed being here!

UNREAL SORBET HERE!! Both my partner and I were craving a natural tasting fruit sorbet and this place exceeded our expectations! Quick and easy service, fun ambiance and delicious gelato in the best fruit flavors. It's a must in downtown Mountain View!

241 Castro St Ste B Mountain View, CA 94041I was in downtown Mountain View on a Wednesday around 5pm. Temperature was 104*F, and I decided that this was a good time to try the gelato ice cream shop on Castro Street. I expected a big line, and was shocked to see the place was empty. The shop was very clean, bright and shiny. There's a few tables inside. I was greeted as I entered the shop. Wow! Lots of choices! The gentleman serving me offered me samples. I got a regular cup with Dark Chocolate, Espresso, and Mint Chocolate. Price: $8.75.The gelato is really good. Nice clean flavors. But as a hot weather refreshment, gelato didn't do it for me. I would of much preferred frozen yogurt or Cold Stone Creamery.

FYI they take card now.Flavors are delicious here and I was lucky to go around dinner time (7 pm) before the post-dinner crowd arrives. There was still a small wait but it was worth it.The prices are definitely on the higher side at nearly $7 for a small (max 2 flavors). However, the flavors are truly delicious. I knew I wanted the lychee as it's one of my favorites. The lychee here is on the sweeter side but still floral and creamy. I was then undecided between the mango sorbet or something else. Somehow, I saw lots of people get the chocolate covered strawberry so I decided to try that, which tasted more unique than the mango sorbet. Turns out, the strawberry is distinct here - the flavor is a bit more tart, which I like. I was extremely happy with my choice and would absolutely go back again.

Not bad but in need of a freezer upgradeSaw a long line for this place and decided to stop by on a different day when it was less crowded. You can try all the flavors - overall yummy tho nothing special. They do need to upgrade their freezers - some of their gelatos were def melting

There was a fairly long line to order on a Saturday evening, but the line went fast, and there was both indoor and outdoor seating available. An hour before closing time, they were out of most gelato flavors (so many tubs empty), but they did have various sorbet flavors available, different than what was listed on the wall. We ended up getting a single scoop of dark chocolate gelato in a cup, and a pint of sorbet (half raspberry, half mango). These sweet treats were quite delicious, the dark chocolate rich and creamy, and the sorbet made with great quality that could be tasted. That being said, and despite the accolades they flaunt in the store, the atmosphere wasn't very inviting. Behind the counters seemed disorganized and bare (empty tubs not cleaned, staff scooping gelato out of a container that was not even in the freezer display case, rather sitting on the counter, and a line of people waiting to order blocking the open tables inside (luckily we sat outside, away from those crowds). All of this is understandable on a busy night. But I find it hard to give 5 stars to an ice cream shop where you can't depend on enough flavors to be available on any given day, as the trip out could potentially be a waste of time.

I was walking around Castro Street and decided to try some gelato here. I got the strawberry gelato and it was great. It was after dinner and there wasn't much of a line. It is a small little shop with some seating inside and outside.Overall, it was a pleasant visit. I would probably come back to try the other flavors.

My party and I came around 7 PM on a Friday and it was very busy. There was a line out the door however, it moved fairly quickly. I would NOT recommend coming here when it's very busy or when you have a big party. The way that the orders are taken makes it hard to keep track of what's been ordered. Other parties after us had finished ordering first but could not pay because the cashier was trying to input all our orders when we were still waiting on some of the party to order.However, the ice cream itself was very good. I ordered the vanilla bean in a small cup and it was reasonably sized. I would order it again.
