Galpão Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse

The food and service are excellent! One of the top Brazilian steakhouses in the Bay Area, hands down.

Made a reservation for 2 for lunch on a Friday, and it was the best Brazilian steakhouse experience we've ever had! I've had Fogo before a few times, and it was my first time at Galpao Gaucho. Service was superb. As soon as we sat down, we were introduced to the experience briefly. Meats started coming very soon after, and boy did they keep coming! All cuts of meat and offerings were regularly coming by on rotation, and everything was cooked to perfection. Everything was super juicy, flavorful, tender, and scrumptious (like their shrimp). I wish I had a bigger stomach! There was so much that I had to flip to the red side of the card really early on. Completely different from my experience at Fogo and I am so glad I came here instead.Things started tasting a bit too salty really quick, but that was to be expected. I have no complaints about any of the food, including the plethora of options at the salad bar! There was so much variety at the salad bar, I thought it was perfect!The brazilian cheese breads and garlic bread were also sooo good. I loved their chimichurri sauce too. Some notable meats: beef ribs, leg of lamb, lamb chops, picanha, filet mignon (least salty). Least favorites were chicken and pork sausage. The grilled pineapple was nice to help palette cleanse throughout the meal... so juicy, sweet, and caramelized with cinnamon. Definitely recommend for all to try when that comes by you.I'd definitely come back again when I'm feeling for a Brazilian steakhouse experience.Thank you for such an amazing and delicious experience.

I went to try Galpao Gaucho for the first time with my family. They have a salad bar with different offerings from salad, cheese, salami, fruit, vegetables and more. I enjoyed the mozzarella. For the main items they have many offering from pineapple, golden steak, lamb, salmon with passion fruit sauce and even cheese with honey. My favorites were the cheese with honey and the pineapple. I also enjoyed the beef rib. For the cheese they come to your table and pour the honey on. They do the same thing with the salmon and they pour the passion fruit sauce on table side. The golden steak feels more of a hype. The steak was just ok. While I did enjoy the food I am not sure if u would go back. It is pretty expensive at $75 per person which seems to be the current going rate for these types of restaurants. I am someone who does not eat a lot so it's hard to justify the price. The interior is nice and the workers are friendly. The service is good and they will bring you any items that you ask for.

Great service. Great food. Meat lovers rejoice. This is paradise. Skip the salad bar. You'll need all the space in your stomach for the infinite meat servings you'll devour. Servers continuously bring large selections of perfectly cooked (medium rare for me) all-you-can-eat meat sliced at your table. The only drawback is the weight you'll gain.

Wow, this place was great! This was my first Brazilian steakhouse experience and everything from the food, service, and ambiance were spot on. The servers are attentive and always made sure your plate was full. The meats were hot, tender, and delicious. My favorites were the golden steak, filet mignon, top and bottom sirloins, and lamb shank. I'll be back soon!

Went here to celebrate with my boyfriend and it was both our first time eating here. We went during lunch on a weekend. ($75/person IIRC)Compared to other Brazilian steakhouses I've dined at, this one comes out to be one of my top 3. The service is super amazing. Everyone is super kind and attentive and answered any questions we had. The meats they served were all so juicy and tender and I enjoyed every cut of meat they had available. My personal favorite was the beef rib.Only complaint is that it was kinda chilly inside. Other than that, our experience was wonderful!

It's my first time coming to this restaurant. I came for a birthday shindig. I've experienced the same type of Brazilian restaurant. I can't complain the food was/is amazing. This place is an all you can eat of whatever type meal you choose.Since I knew what I was to experience I decided to have the seafood and salad option. I know I cannot eat all the meat they'll serve and I would get too full. I'm not saying you shouldn't though. But the seafood and salad option is the same eat all you. The service was great. The people I was with all had meat options and they just kept coming non-stop. They give you a token that when you want to take a break just flip the token and they'll stop. Pretty cool right?!? The ambiance is beautiful. Quite fancy. Good for a date night however it can get very loud. Now the food tastes great and all the meat you can eat is wonderful but in my opinion it's a bit pricey. This is not a place I would do a big dinner party in.

I really like this restaurant for Brazilian food. I came here for lunch w my two kids and staff were great! It got super busy shortly after 12pm. Pros: The steaks were really tasty; esp the ribeye and house picanha. My youngest loves the golden steak. Cons: A bit disappointed the bread were cold, would have preferred them warm. Also, my teenager didn't eat a lot of food so disappointed she was charged the adult price of $55 (kinda pricey).

The service is outstanding. Staff are friendly and attentive. They keep coming back to our table and make sure we have enough meat.

The food was good, loved the service, if I had a question someone was always there to ask, there was always someone who knew what they were talking about, very patient people will definitely be coming back the man who was serving me and my friend was very sweet and was very considerate of us I believe his name was gustove
