First time here and we got a bunch of different skewers.The service is very good and friendly which is a huge upgrade over Chef Yang's down in Cupertino. The green beans are really good, and the enoki mushroom wrapped pork was really good. Besides those we also tried the two different lam skewers, the beef skewers, the fried lean beef skewers, and they were all enjoyable.Will probably come back!!

Good variety of different food on the menu. Mainly went for the skewers this time. Favorite skewers - Lamb w/ fat (3) and lamb on rose willow branch (1) - very juicy; good balance of lamb flavor and seasoning. Mongolia beef (1) - pretty fatty, but still deliciousBeef skewers w fat (3) - really good, but not as juicy as the lambFried lean beef skewers (10) - small pieces, but good flavors. Braised chicken gizzard - very tender, wanted them to be a little more chewy, but definitely the most tender gizzard I've ever had.Busy on a Sunday evening, but no wait. Quick service and food came out quick.

One of the few late night restaurants that my friends and I stumbled upon on Yelp and decided to try. There was a decent amount of parties inside so we had high hopes. We love skewers so we quickly placed an order via the QR code on the table. We ordered some chicken gizzards, clam noodle soup, bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms, and a skewer combo which comes with assorted skewers. The noodle soup was nice in warming us up. I was impressed that it had a good amount of clams. The skewers were pretty mediocre in my opinion. I've had better at other places. The seasoning wasn't that great. I preferred more cumin and chilis. The grill that keeps everything warm was not hot enough so nothing really stayed hot when eating. It was hard to separate some of the items from the bamboo sticks. Overall for the price point and flavor, I'd prefer to go elsewhere.

Smells great look good. And was really good definitely should give this place a try. Ordered quite a lot and finished with. Full stomach

Depends what you are looking for in a Chinese BBQ place, you might or might not like this place.As soon as you arrive, make sure you connect to its free WiFi if you are on T-Mobile. You need internet connection to order your food. Note: you can't pay online. U have to get their staff for it.Food is hit and miss.Chicken: great taste! Well marinated.Tendon: it's just ok.Beef: very bland. Beef bone marrow: it comes with a couple mini buns. A lot of garlic taste, which make it great. Not much bone marrow though.Bacon wrapped mushroom: they are very tiny!Don't expect the food is served on a plate. The chef bbqs it in the kitchen, and he brings it out by holding the stick and put them on a mildly heated mini grill on your table.Note: when you pay, the tips options start with 18%. That's 18% on the tax too! Not cool!

Very flavorful and shareable food! Every skewer was well seasoned and delicious, and I would say the same for the side dishes. I forgot to take a picture but the Mongolian Beef and Xinjiang Lamb Skewers were the best meat skewers! A bit pricier but worth it. Another must try are their garlic oysters! Super good! I don't recommend the Lean Beef Skewers unless you like jerky; very dry. The soy sauce fried rice was like a sticky rice texture, and the spicy corn bucket was a but dry too. Most of the food was delicious, but I'm marking a star because the service felt very lacking. We weren't checked up on at all and I had to get up and walk to the worker on his phone to get takeout boxes. The inside of the restaurant is nice and a great vibe for late night food!

The environment is clean and has a nostalgic feel. The staff is super friendly and provides excellent service. They also stay open fairly late. My friends and I come here every week to hang out. The food is grilled to perfection.

Had some friends in town and they wanted to try something new. Friendship bbq has been on my list to try for some time so we ended up going here. Good overall was tasty but the seasoning was a bit on the sweeter side which caught me off guard. Not terrible but I wish it was more savory. Service was pretty quick since you order through a QR code. Cozy spot for some skewers with good company.

Seated right away on a Friday evening. Ordering is via QR code. We shared the garlic eggplant, xinjiang lamb, Mongolia beef, grilled Taiwanese hotdog, grilled mini bun, pork belly w/ enoki mushroom, grilled chicken meats, and lamb skewer with fat. The garlic eggplant was indeed very garlicky and also had a chili sauce that had a pretty strong kick of spice to it. This wasn't bad but wished that the eggplant exterior was softer. My favorite skewer was probably the xinjiang lamb, and I'm usually not the biggest fan of lamb. Mongolia beef was a little chewy at some parts. The grilled mini bun looked nothing like the photo, probably wouldn't get this again. It was like toast with savory seasoning. Grilled chicken skewers were pretty good, although we expected literal grilled chicken (ended up being just like fried chicken with the crispy batter). Service was alright, needed to flag down employees if we needed anything and they didn't really check on us aside from when they quickly brought food, muttered the item name quietly, and left right away which felt a bit rushed.

Duck blood soup with mushroom and chicken gizzard are pretty good. Must try. I personally don't like these types of seasoning so I don't like it much.Service is okay. The space in the store is nice but a little cold maybe bc they want to get rid of the smell? Idk. But they open late which is a plus for anyone likes eating late.
