Frannie's Express

This is a good express Chinese food spot. Food is always hot. Solid place for a quick lunch

You're missing the point of Frannie's Express. It's all in the name. Express = operating at high speed. Aka fast food. Don't want fast food? There's plenty of dine-in spots with handheld menus and smiling waitresses in the area.These people are pumping out as much food as possible almost the entire day. So forgive them if they spend the last hour of being open, just trying to clean up after themselves and sell what is left over so that they can go home to their families and give their feet a rest. They're hardworking. You can see it on their face when you walk in. Yes, sometimes with the quantity, the quality drops. Some days you go in and it's the end of the batch or the beginning of a new fresh one. Maybe call ahead and ask when their last fresh batch was put out? Personally, I don't care for the potstickers or fish fillet. The potstickers even when fresh, never taste quite right to me. The fish fillet is just lackluster. I like their egg rolls, sesame chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, and chow mein. And as with most Chinese take out foods, I never finish the full plate in one sitting anyway so I usually have to reheat it later which is why I don't care if it's super fresh or not. I am getting exactly what I paid for. You get what you pay for is something to remember express take out. And honestly? It's pretty delicious! I used to swing by after school with my friends and go to town on their plates. I lived up the hill right there so I'd visit for years on after, too. I moved to Seattle last year and I actually missed this place. They do not have this low key, rich smelling, delicious, guilty pleasure take out food. I am now back visiting my family and I cannot wait to walk in and see their faces and shove my face in their food.

Restaurant was clean and food smelled fresh and good. Can't beat the prices, got two 3 item plates for $22 after tax. Lady helping me was very nice and fast. Would definitely come here again.

The food is always fresh and very tasty. The lady who works there is very nice and always has great service. The prices are also really good.

The food here is cheaper than Asian Delight for Chinese food but it's very salty. A good place if you craving cheap chinese food.

Full and nicely presented foods in steam table. Friendly, thoughtful and accurate service. Prices in line with other similar restaurants. Clean and good seating that is roomy and comfortable. Very nice atmosphere and kept up appearance. I was here for my first visit yesterday, 1/6//24. I recommend Frannies Express. It's on Mission Blvd between EcoThrift and Harder Road.

Small portions, a lot of attitude like if she didn't want us in there expensive for no reason the worst service.

Ordered a 2 item combo the man put out fresh sesame chicken so I decided to choose that as one entree but unfortunately the lady scoops the bottom of the pan where the old chicken is and it was all soggy from being in the sauce. I should have left there but I decided to proceed ordering. She rang up my food and tried to charge me for a 3 item plate instead of a 2 item when I asked why did she ring me up for a 3 she didn't have a straight answer then tried to say it's because I got half chow mein half fried rice which she never told me it was a up charge. So I got a refund and left never again will I return better off going to panda

First time being here, food is pretty good especially for a full plate of food like this given the price ($8) that is hard to beat, cheaper than Panda Express. It was a bit oily, not too salty, and beef had some nice spice. Eating in was fine, relatively clean and ok atmosphere. The service was good and polite. I would come back again.
