Saw these guys at the Dimond Oktoberfest festival in oakland today and they were extremely overpriced for such a mediocre meal. We ordered the CHICKEN FLIET WITH FRIES and we're charged $16.00 for frozen curly fries from Sysco or Costco and some katso style chicken that was also frozen and fried. Underwhelming and not worth it

Finally, unlike Trader Joe's, L&L, and even Five Guys who bypasses the SL and goes to our neighboring cities, the food trucks come to San Leandro!! Love how they got Go Streatery to come here as it is the best truck out there and I have been following them around from Alameda to Hayward to San Lorenzo, and finally San Leandro. If Streatery is there, you need to get something from them whether it is the oxtail and grits, the brisket sandwich that is now back or the lemon ricotta doughnuts (zeppoles) that I always get at least 1 or 2 orders of. Excited to see the Shrimp Shack and BibiGoQ as well which I couldn't resist trying. Cost: It may seem a bit expensive especially if you want to try everything but $20-$25 for dinner for two for 2-3 items really isn't all that bad. Nice to have this in SL to bring the community out.

Food trucks in San Leandro!! 10 trucks roll into town and set up shop on Tuesday's from 5-9 on the old Lucky's parking lot. There were 10- 12 trucks serving up Mexican, Korean, Indian, Pizza, Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, Cupcakes, Filipino and Filipino fusion. Passed on the Filipino food as I could get that at home and fell into the trap that "I should go to the truck with the longest line, right? Means they have the best food right? I went to Gorillaz Gone Wild and ordered the Philly Cheese with white sauce. I was not disappointed. Very tasty and delicious. For an extra buck you get fries and they give you a blow pop for dessert. Nice touch. Tasted the Chicago dog from Street Dogs, no one can duplicate an original Chitown Doggie from Chicago will try something different next time. Tried the Korean beef at BiBiGo the meat was perfectly seasoned and tasty and you get a nice size serving of meat and veggies. In a nutshell too many Filipino trucks with overpriced lumpia. There are tables and chairs and music bumping in the background. Not a bad start but hope to see more variety of trucks in the future. Oh yeah bring cash if you use your card they charge you tax.

Finally had the opportunity to try the Food Trucks in San Leandro. Pleasantly surprised that there was plenty of parking and that that lines for each of the trucks weren't too long. A couple of the trucks had tables/chairs set up for alfresco dining. Tried the Korean tacos @ Bibigo and the grilled filet @ 3KBrothers - both were good and had a lot of flavor. The Bird-Dog sandwich @ Kinders was also good ... unfortunately they gave away my tequila lime garlic fries to another customer and had already run out for the night.I am a dog lover ... and noticed that several people brought their dogs into the food service area ... isn't that a health code violation? Didn't notice any signage, but if dogs aren't allowed in the Farmer's Market, should they be allowed in a food truck park?

I'm so glad to have the Food Truck Mafia in San Leandro! We've gone 2 weeks in a row and the food has been pretty good, though prices are high so it's worth reading reviews to look what the real gems are.So far, my husband can recommend the chili hot dog from Street Dogs and the Korean burger from Bibigo Q. The ice cream from the ice cream truck was also very good. I, on the other hand, have been left to eat my 8 year old's discarded orders, which aren't as great. She found a cheese quesadilla from Los Altos Truck to be "too cheesy" - I thought it was boring and overpriced. She didn't want to even taste the pizza slice from the pizza truck because it had "cream cheese". Actually, whatever soft cheese it had was the best part of the 4-cheese slice. The slice was pretty good otherwise, but not extraordinary. Well priced at $4, however. We'll keep going back.

My boyfriend and I have lived down the block from the Food Truck Mafia now for 6 months, but we only just made our first trek down there this evening. There were five trucks: German, Moroccan, Burgers, Korean, and Crepes. My bf stopped for the german food, while I went for the moroccan. We're thoroughly happy! We'll definitely come back, hopefully more often, too. The FTM website looks like they have a really good rotation of trucks, so I'm looking forward to finding new restaurants to enjoy!

Such a fun thing to do on a Tuesday night in the Dro! Went for the first time last night with a group of about 10 friends to celebrate my birthday. We all were able to get different food and some people even went in for seconds. LOL The DJ was awesome, which I heard may stop due to some sound ordinance. I really hope it doesn't because it was a blast dancing. We had 2 kids in our group too and they had fun dancing and there was a guy making balloon animals. You will see us there again! Great crowd and food energy. Thanks to whoever got this started and please keep the DJ!! :)
