This is a crazy story but 10 years ago I went to the Chef's bakery back when he was located in Palm Springs. Had the best croissants of my life. I recently went back to the Palm Spring's bakery. Unfortunately it is no longer run by him but his brother says the Chef recently opened Fleur De Cocoa in Los Gatos. A month later I'm in Los Gatos and ordering just about every dessert and pastry. They are so good! ROYAL: my favorite. There's a velvety smooth mousse layer and another layer of crunch. I don't know how he made the crunchy layer but it's all addicting! I came back the following day just to get this dessert again. CANELE: best candle of my life. I took a bite of the crunch exterior and soft gooey center. I went back to the bakery to order 3 more! CROISSANT: it's good, but not like how I remembered it in my mind from 10 years ago. FIFTH AVENUE: this one is for pistachio lovers!! I would order it again. Pistachio flavor everywhere in this lovely dessert. APRICOT PASTRY: I am for sure ordering this again when I come back. The custard layer was just the right amount and the pastry was perfect!COTE D'IVOIRE: it's very good if you like orange flavor from the Cointreau. I'm glad I tried it but the Royal is still my top pick.

One of our favorite cafes. The staff is nice, the price is fair. The caffe is cute, few indoor seating and some outdoors. They have a big selection of pasties and everything we've tried has been just delicious. We've gotten cakes from them as well.Today we had the onion soup with the side salad, loved it. Good flavor, standard portion and just good.

A longtime establishment in the Los Gatos area, this place is a true classic when it comes to pastries and cakes! I picked up a pineapple chausson and a Tropical Rose individual size cake. Really loved the chausson which was loaded with pineapples and not too sweet overall. The Tropical Rose did taste great and was very creamy-coconutty but too sweet for my liking. Maybe next time I will try one of the extra dark chocolate pastries to see if that works better for me. It's a very good place to take a date or get a cake for a special occasion!

Authentic French bakery. I had the Parisian. Very crusty baguette with brie, boiled eggs and ham. Friendly service and a nice place to sit outside. A nice place to stop for coffee, dessert or a quick lunch with reasonable prices.

I randomly came across this spot after lunch and decided to give it a try. I was recommended the Eclipse dessert, and even though I'm not a huge chocolate cake person, I love passion fruit, so I went for it!The Eclipse ($10.95) is a mix of passion fruit mousse, dark chocolate mousse, and chocolate sponge cake. The rich chocolate was perfectly balanced by the tangy passion fruit, making it both pretty and delicious! Definitely a unique and enjoyable dessert.I also tried the Breton Latte ($6.00), a salted caramel latte, which was a nice complement to the dessert--smooth and not too sweet.Great little find if you're looking for a treat!

I got the pastry called the Terrible. It was a chocolate pastry with a praline/ crunchy base. I was very rich nutty base with a smooth cream on to. Paired perfectly with the salted caramel latte. The cafe itself was very crowded and there was not enough seating for everyone but otherwise was a good experience and I would return for the pastries

Great desserts for sure!Stopped by to pick up a few items. The shop is located in busy downtown area. It's a cute little shop that is quite busy. There was a line almost out the door when I came by on a Sunday afternoon. The line moved pretty quickly though and I was in and out in 5 minutes.Passion Fruit Tart: My favorite of the things I bought. Definitely on the more tart side but it had such a good flavor.Mango mousse dessert: This was like a mango on mango on mango. There was a mousse on the outside, mango cake and then some chunks on the inside. If you're a fan of mangoes then this is for you.Tiramisu: Very solid tiramisu imo! Nothing crazy but I really liked this one.Prices are on the more expensive side for small pastries, but the quality here is top-notch! I would recommend this place!

BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE EVER!! We recently used Fleur de Cocoa for my client's event. This bakery was suggested by the birthday girl's BFF (it was a surprise party). I called in to get pricing information and to start the order. We ordered their signature Fleur de Cocoa cake (30 servings) and 60 Petit Fours. Being that I wasn't familiar with the bakery, the gentleman I spoke to (I believe his name was Max), was Super helpful in offering some guidance with selecting the Petit Fours. On the day of the event, the desserts were ready at the time specified, and were boxed up beautifully. When the cake and desserts were revealed, we were all left in awe! Seriously, the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted! I'm excited to share this bakery with new clients, friends and family. Thank you Fleur de Cocoa!

This review is a bit overdue from Feb 14th. We were there towards the afternoon around 2pm. Usually their food is excellent but this time I feel they could cater to Valentines day a bit better by making more pastries. The counters were nearly all empty.. and the 5 Madeline's for $12 seemed like a rip off because they were exceedingly stale and a bit too lemony, for my taste. We got it home otherwise I would have returned it immediately. Real Madeline's are usually soft and delicious and one cannot stop eating them. This packet after eating one was tossed in the garbage.
