I'd been ordering delivery from here for a while and it's been great. I came for a proper sit down experience recently and the ambiance is very nice. It's kind of an upscale spot and I see a lot of business meetings and birthdays every time. In terms of drinks, I liked canchanchara more than Cordelia. It had a piece of black garlic which added a really interesting herby aromatic scent/flavour to the drink. The base drink was sorta basic --- kinda reminded me of a gimlet? But yummy nonetheless.I would not recommend the batanga drink at all. With each sip you get the flavour of tequila in your mouth, then as you swallow you get the coffee flavour. And as a faint aftertaste you get the coke. It's not a very good balance or mix of flavour. At that point just take a shot of tequila, coffee, then coke lmao.As for the food, I really liked the papadi chaat nachos. It was very interesting way to plate the dish with the papadi crisps standing vertically among the chutneys and fillings. We all kind of wished that it had more sweet chutney tho My next favourite dish was the peri peri chicken tikka. The chicken was so tender and well cooked. The sauce was an interesting grainy texture and the flavours were well soaked into the meat.

Ambiance- 4: If you're looking to go on the weekend, make a reservation!! They were FULLY booked the Sat after Valentine's day but there's always the bar seating as last resort, which was ours. They had belly dancer to across the dining room, which was a nice touch. Food - 3: We really enjoyed the Fryum Sampler, which is essentially like various chips with chutney and other dips. The Butter Chicken fell short by a lot. I was honestly expecting something way different and maybe that was the reason but it didn't live up to the name of Butter Chicken. It also does not come with any Naan or rice, not that it was mentioned so we had to order the garlic naan after the fact - was good. Vegetable Momos were okay - nothing memorable in my books.Service - 3: Sitting at the bar, our service was just strange. Our server was not friendly and felt like he was giving us dirty looks more than anything. Off-putting.Drinks - 5: The drinks really saved this place for me. Very innovative with various spices and not straying away from savory cocktails. Would highly recommend Canchanchara and Mother Nature was also good.

Great tasty food! We went on a busy night ,new year eve to be specific, so it was crowded. Server was great, but hard to catch, though understandbly since it was a busy night. Interior looked great, I wished we had a nice sofa/corner seat for a cosier vibe. Maybe next time, not a not so busy night! Anyway, moving on the food! Purple potato ragada patty - 4/5 Liked it, especially the light and fluffy cranberry mousse. Added a nice touch and texture to the dish! Peri Peri Chicken Tikka 3/5 okay okay, but nothing amazing. Masala paratha Quesadilla 4/5 This was good! It was a masala carrot filling, it reminded me of the South Indian carrot podimas that I do at home. Tasted great with the cheese and parata. Green pea kulcha with jalepeno dip - 5/5 I loved this! Very fresh and flavorful and lovely with the dip! Malai choux Dessert - 5/5 very interesting dessert with great presentation, and it was a wonderful way to end the meal. Great place for a date night/to celebrate something!

This is an upscale Indian fusion restaurant with creative menu items. The interior is very beautiful and the service was very fast during our Thursday night dinner. We ordered:- Papdi Chaat Nachos: one of my favorite items, they're very generous with the toppings, the papdi chaat surprisingly stayed perfectly crispy so the texture was great - Reinvented Paneer Lababdaar: this was our favorite large dish, the flavors were really delicious and worked well with the giant piece of paneer on top- Chicken Butter Masala: not a dish that stood out to me, I wish I got a different dish to try instead- Garlic Naan: I've never had a bad garlic naan before, and this place is no exception- Basque Cheesecake: honestly the cheesecake was drier than I expected (I've personally baked better basque cheesecake), but the makhan malai foam it came with was the star for me, I've never had anything like it before and would love to have a bowl of itI probably won't be a regular, but I really loved the creativity here and would love to try other dishes on their extensive menu.

I had been here a few times before but this past review is from Valentine's Day! The menu was limited but enjoyed the items, including chicken meatballs, paneer, lamb and stuffed mushrooms. Apparently according to my husband this was the best lamb he ever had. The belly dancer and di made the ambience fun and service was quick! Will be back my friends ...

Horrible experience here. Do not go no matter what. I took my parents here to treat them for an accomplishment I achieved and this restaurant ruined the entire celebration. We were counting down the minutes till we could leave. Service was horrible. They forgot us multiple times. Normally, I would be lenient about it, however this was a reservation at the opening of the restaurant in the evening and there were no other patrons at the same time as us. When we finally were greeted by a server, we ordered the entire meal because we waited an atrocious amount of time (45 mins waiting at our table without a beverage), and checked if the meal would be coursed before we ordered. The server accidentally sent all the food to our table, where all of our plates did not even fit. We asked the server for help and all he does is rewarm the rotis. My parents and I had to speed eat the food to make space for plates. Due to all the food coming out all at once, everything was cold and not enjoyable. There was one manager at the time that was doing an excellent job servicing and what made it worse is other tables that were getting amazing experiences next to us, while we were eating a celebratory dinner of cold food and being forgotten. I tried to order another drink, the server did not come back for another 45 minutes, despite me having an empty drink. It gets worse. My mom was still eating her food and a waitress took the plate my mother was eating off of it mid-bite! My mom was dumbfounded and let her know she was still eating. The waitress took her plate off of the dirty stack of plates and set it back down in front of my mom. This is a huge sanitary issue and you would never expect this at an establishment like this. At this point, there was no way we were going to waste anymore time here. It was clear the restaurant was not up to the standard they were advertising. I asked for the check and talked with the manager, who was very kind and understanding, and asked us to call before dining again here. She ended it on a nice note and honestly, she was the only good part about this restaurant and experience. There is not even a chance on this earth that my family and I would come back here. A celebratory dinner was ruined and there will never be a way that this restaurant can make this up to us. If this was long, please see this summary. 1) horrible service 2) hygiene issues 3) For the price, save your money and eat elsewhere. Yelp reviews does not allow 0 stars, however please consider this review as a 0 star review.

Fitoor in Santana Row is a must-visit for anyone looking to try unique and flavorful Indian-inspired cocktails during happy hour. The Milky Way cocktail is a standout--smooth, creamy, and with a subtle sweetness that's unlike anything I've had before. The ambiance is chic, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day. The staff is super knowledgeable about the drinks and always eager to make recommendations. Whether you're there for the cocktails or the vibrant atmosphere, Fitoor is a fun and refreshing spot to enjoy something a little different in San Jose!

Bf and I came here for lunch during an afternoon in Santana Row. The ambiance was upscale and calm, the service was quick, and it was easy to get a reservationHere's what we ordered:- chicken kulcha -- this kinda reminded me of the really good puffy bread from Elephante with some seasoned, ground chicken added in. It was delicious - paratha quesadillas -- this was a super creative concept and my favorite thing we ordered! - paneer / spinach ravioli with saag -- my bf loves saag so we ordered this but we didn't enjoy it too much. It felt like something was missing from the saag and the ravioli was alright, but still a cool concept I've never seen on a menu- butter chicken -- delicious, the chicken was so tender and flavorful, it was cooked well- raita -- good as well, was on the sweeter side - masala chaa -- delicious We're happy to have discovered an Indian restaurant with a great ambiance and food, and we will be back for sure!

Reason for 4 star: Not all items on the menu are good. But if u order from the below recommended, this will be your goto restaurant (with limited items, but super tasty :-P). Must Try:Dinner MenuPurple potato ragda pattice Thecha Chilli ChickenAsado Branzino FishTextures of mushroom [ unfortunately this was removed from menu, but was really good ]Paneer Lababdar [ ask to make it spicy, their regular is slightly bland (don't worry it won't be spicy but more tasty) ]Double Daal Makhani [ ask to make it spicy, their regular is slightly bland (don't worry it won't be spicy but more tasty) ]Malai Choux Bun [ do not miss on this dessert, its fabulous ] Pistachio Gujia [ unfortunately this was removed from menu, but this was also really good ]Other items that I tried: Can try but still ok-ish for my expectations, so don't recommend in must try's - Papdi Chaat Nacho, Beetroot Chevre Kebab and Corn Khees Poppers
